2) it actually explains why you were chosen. Notice all tge action in said text is by God. It fails to mention your free will. Imagine that.

yes salvation comes after believing, not before. That means the new birth comes after believing as Scripture teaches. They put the cart before the horse.
I would ask you the same question. Is a event part of all things?
NOWHERE does scripture say you were chosen because you believe. Where do you see tge word chosen in 1 Corinthians 1:21?
