Excellent Discussion on OSAS

Abraham was justified the SAME Way we are justified = Believe the Word of God = Christ
You are conflating two different uses of the word "Word".
The Difference is that the OT Regenerated Saints had to wait for Christ to FINISH the Work of God on the Cross.
Being born again is something that happens to living beings, not dead beings. There is not indication that the indwelling Holy Spirit continues to indwell the saints who have died.
At some point AFTER Christ died on the Cross, HE took with Him the souls of the Saints from Paradise into Heaven.
Life in heaven will happen to all the saints after Jesus returns and judgment is completed. In the meantime, all the saints who have died are with Jesus in Paradise.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Keep studying and praying and seeking "the Word that was God from the beginning" = the Lord Jesus Christ

The same Word that Abraham believed and it was credited to him for righteousness

The OT saints were saved by grace through faith.
CORRECT

Their faith was in God's promise of a Messiah not Jesus Christ who would become the Messiah.
Their faith was in "the Word that was God" who was Speaking to them

Jesus Christ is the Word that was God from the Beginning but HE did not become flesh/Jesus Christ until His Incarnation

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us = the only begotten of the Father"

What did the prodigal son do? A human being.

What did the lost sheep do? A reference to a human being.

The coin is not a human being.
The coin is to teach us the principle of lost; one can not lose something unless it first belongs to them.

Do the lost need salvation?
What did the Lost coin do ? Did it obey ? What did the lost sheep do ? Did it obey and jump up on the shoulders of the Shepherd by his own freewill ?

The meaning of the Greek word "logos" in John 1:1 is not the same as the meaning of the Greek word "rhema" in Romans 10:17 even though both are translated as the English word "word".

Abraham believed God. He knew nothing about the "Word" who became Jesus.

who told you that?
That was not known until Jesus came and began his ministry following his baptism in the Jordan by John the Baptist and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was he light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. 9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

Genesis told us that MESSIAH would be the Son of God

Prophecy Told us that the MESSIAH would be the Son of God = Psalm 2:7

7“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.

The fact that few believed does not change the Truth

remint

(redirected from reminted)

re·mint

(rē-mĭnt′)
tr.v. re·mint·ed, re·mint·ing, re·mints
To make into new coin by melting down and reprocessing.

A coin can be remitted, if it is placed in the fire long enough.

However, only a human being can be born again.

A person must first be born to be born again of the Spirit.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:6

Can a coin be born again?
Yes when the coin symbolizes a person duh
Does a coin need repentance wise guy ? Lk 15 8-10

8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

the HS reminded me of a scripture = Zechariah 13:8-9

And it shall come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
But one-third shall be left in it:
I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
