Excellent Discussion on OSAS

Yes when the coin symbolizes a person duh
Does a coin need repentance wise guy ? Lk 15 8-10

8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

People must repent and return in order to be reconciled back to God.

Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Luke 15:8-10

There is another Truth hidden in the parable of the woman/house/cleaning house/lost coin found in the house

The truth is one must go after and search for those who become lost.

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20

Keep it going and share.
i have to wait on this one for i have not yet offered UP prayer on it

i have assumptions based on what we already know of the Gospel, but we should never rely on assuming but rather take everything to the Lord in prayer and then wait for the HS revealing to us

Genesis told us that MESSIAH would be the Son of God

Prophecy Told us that the MESSIAH would be the Son of God = Psalm 2:7

7“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.

The fact that few believed does not change the Truth
Do you think Abraham had read the Psalms? Or Genesis?

Genesis told us that MESSIAH would be the Son of God

The Lord has said to Me,

The fact that few believed does not change the Truth
What truth is and what truth is known are two different things entirely.

Again, I maintain that regeneration is unique to the New Covenant.

So why the New Covenant?

Jesus made Covenant, a blood covenant with Abraham before He became flesh.

And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.
Galatians 3:17

The New Covenant is the Renewed Abrahamic Covenant.

The Abrahamic Covenant always included Gentiles.

The law of Moses did not. The law of Moses was the dividing wall separating Jew and Gentiles.

The law was removed when the Seed came and nailed it to the cross; taken it out of the way.

The New Covenant in the blood of Jesus takes away sin.

The Old Covenant atoned or covered the sin by the animal blood.

With sins removed the baptism with the Spirit could now be received.

agree

Yet God told Abraham the Gospel in a very Special Way

The Gospel command is repent.

Abraham obeyed this command from the Lord.

Now the LORD had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him,
Genesis 12:1-4

Abraham departed thus turning away from his old life and family to follow the LORD.

NO! NO! NO! The Abrahamic Covenant always promised that Gentiles would someday become part of God's kingdom.

That was not accomplished until the events between Peter and Cornelius (Acts 10).
The law of Moses did not. The law of Moses was the dividing wall separating Jew and Gentiles.

The law was removed when the Seed came and nailed it to the cross; taken it out of the way.
The law was NOT removed. Those who reject Jesus Christ are still under the law. What has been removed for the children of God are the record of sins and the just punishment for those sins .

Col 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
Col 2:14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

People must repent and return in order to be reconciled back to God.

The coin repented, and the sheep after they were found. They were no longer lost. All the credit goes to the Sheperd and the woman for the repentance of the found one.
