Rather odd . the last time they found common ground and worked as one on a huge tower
to try and reach heaven

If our salvation depends on anything but the finished work of Christ on the cross, we are in trouble. Or, at best, we run the risk of being in trouble. If you and I have any part in maintaining our salvation, it will be difficult to live with much assurance. Hope, yes; assurance, no.

Yet John wrote an entire epistle to assure a group of people, people he was not even around to observe, that they were in fact saved:

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

I have found the best way to live out my salvation is to abide in Christ.

I agree that we need to abide in Christ.
I do NOT agree that we have no part in our salvation, or in maintaining our salvation.

I think you have conflicting thoughts:

What does it mean to abide in Christ?
What does it mean to believe in Christ?

This is fine if you understand what this means.

The reason I'm posting to you is because it's really tiring hearing persons say
that they have no part in their salvation.

Are you married?
Do you have a part in your marrige?

Do you have a job?
Do you need to get along with your superior?

I just wish we Christians would think over a little bit what we state.

I think the forum didn't include the pictures of the Jesus and the god promoted by this world's religious system, "who come in Christ's Name".

Here, let me post them again, so you will be able to see the Jesus and the god promoted by your adopted religious system, that I don't believe is the Jesus "of the Bible" or His Father, who HE said is the One True God.

Here is the man that the religious system of this world that you have adopted, and are now promoting to others, claim is their Jesus.



Here is the god that this world's religious system you have adopted worships.




I know this Jesus and this god is a popular Jesus, and a popular god in this world's religions that call Jesus Lord, Lord.. But they do not represent the Lord's Christ "of the Bible", given the limited descriptions we have, nor does it represent the Father of the Lord's Christ, as defined in the Holy Scriptures, who is a Spirit, and that we are instructed by this same Jesus, "of the Bible" to Worship in Spirit and Truth.

And even though the Jesus "of the Bible" is my Lord and Savior, sent by His Father, the One True God to save me from, and instruct me how not to Transgress God's Commandments, I am still instructed by Him to "Live By" His Father's Words, "Every One" of them, that HE spoke through the Prophets, and His Christ. Therefore, creating an "image of God" the Father, or of the Christ, my Lord, in the likeness of anything, including a random, incredibly handsome man with long flowing hair, is forbidden by God and His Christ as Idolatry.

When a person combines this transgression, with their creation of their own high days, and rejection of the Feasts of the Lord, their own judgments, and rejection of God's Judgments, and going about to establish their own righteousness, refusing to submit to the righteousness of God, this is exactly aligned with the "many" that "Come in His Name", that call Him Lord, Lord, that HE said to "Take Heed" of, and that He doesn't even know.

It is true that I do get angry, and frustrated at the promoters of this world's religions, especially those who are so zealous for the religious traditions of your fathers as you are. And I need to check myself from time to time.

Nevertheless, these warnings about being deceived by the "other voices" in the world God placed us in, "that call Jesus Lord, are valid, and they are relevant. And should be considered and explored by men who are "Seeking the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness". So you might be insulted because I bring these Biblical Truths up, and clearly you don't want to talk about them, but I only do so out of Love for the Brethren. Not my love, but God's Love. And I'm not sorry about that.
