Absolutely. As Paul teaches, if I have the Oracles of God, but refuse to believe them, if I become "contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness". If I slander Paul or the Body of Christ, or lie about them as teaching, "Let us do evil, that good may come"? whose damnation is just. , shall I not receive "the same condemnation" from the SAME God who inspired the SAME Words?
Am I better than the rebellious Jews that I can live in rebellion against Gods Commandments, Despise His Judgments, and create my own high days and go about establishing my own righteousness, and not be treated by God "with the same judgment" He passed on others who live by the same rule?
Paul has already proven through the Gospel of Christ, "Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that "doeth evil", of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But was the Church of God "Still under Sin"? Was Paul "still under sin"? Paul Quoted David in Ps. 5&14 to drive "his" point home for those who are seeking God's Truth. I know you won't answer, but for those reading along, who was it that David said in Psalms 5, "For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue".
Who was it David said in Ps. 14: 3 "They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
We have been taught lies about Paul through this world's religious system for centuries. Please my brothers and sisters, read what Paul and David is actually saying, and be freed from the bondage of deception placed on your necks by the prince of this world.
Here are Your own words.
"Notice carefully what Paul said: "has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances"......All of the commandments of the "Jewish ordinances", many of which separated them from the Gentiles nations, have been forever abolished.
I think you are mistaken to judge that God Laws are "Jewish Ordinances".
I don't think that the Jews were following God's Commandments, that "many" preach "were only given to the Jews", and that it was God's Laws given through Moses that created the "Wall of Separation".
Paul tells us who were still calling the Faithful Gentiles, "the uncircumcision". He tells us who was relegating them as "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world".
But "many" preach to the world that the "the law of commandments contained in ordinances" were given by God to Moses, and that the Jews were simply following God's instruction and Jesus came to "Abolish God's Commandments" that created the Wall of Separation.
What I posted was according to what is actually written, is that God's Law given to us by HIS Servant Moses, did not create "a middle wall of Separation" between Jews and Non-Jews. It was actually just the opposite, and if the "Jews" had not chosen to serve gods, that were not gods, they would have embraced non-Jews who joined themselves to the Lord, as ONE PEOPLE. It was the commandments of men that the children of the devil taught for doctrines, that Jesus exposed and abolished.
This was God's LAW in the first place Red.
Lev. 19: 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you "shall be unto you as one born among you", and thou shalt love him as thyself;
ONE People, as it was always supposed to be, and had always been to the Faithful.
Is. 56: 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house "shall be called an house of prayer for all people".
It wasn't God's Laws and Commandments that Jesus exposed on the Cross Red. It was the teaching of the religious system of this world in that time.
But "many" despise God's Judgments as "worthless Jewish Traditions", no different than Godless Pagan rituals and are twisting Paul's words, as is common among this world's religious system, to justify the lusts of your flesh.
"Their" commandments and ordinances mean nothing, Jesus exposed them. But God's instruction in righteousness, that a different story.
Matt. 5: 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle "shall in no wise pass" from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The deceiver, in its attempt to turn men away from God's perfection, would teach us that "ALL" has been fulfilled. This is of course, foolishness. If Jesus doesn't return, our Faith is in vain. And HE has not returned, therefore "ALL" has not been fulfilled. This is why Paul and Jesus taught that the Law and Prophets were written "Specifically" for us, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Don't listen to the deceiver who tells us God's Word was not written for us.

Yes, the wages of sin is death. God, through Moses and Paul makes that clear, in my view.
The "congregation of the Lord" in scriptures did, it is a Commandment of God, Jesus did say to "Live By" Every Word of God, and Paul said "Circumcision (Jew) is nothing, and uncircumcision (Gentile) is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
So since we have followed Paul's teaching and have "Yielded ourselves to God", why wouldn't we honor God in submitting to His Righteousness. After all, He is God, Yes?
So Yes, we strive against sin, as defined by the God and Father of the Lord's Christ.
But it is because of all that is written, not because of popular religious traditions of the world God placed us in. I think men must be "Convinced in their own mind" about God's Word. If submission to it doesn't come from the heart in Love and respect for God, then I'm not sure it will mean anything, to Him or to us.
At least this is my understanding

God predestined those who love Him for salvation.
Romans 8:28-30 (NKJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

As far as salvation yes.. There is jew and gentile. both are one
But again, israel was given a sperate promise
The promise God made to Israel was not based on their faith.. it was his gift to them

But what you preach, you force yourself to obey the law
there are only two ways to heaven in scripture
1. The law. Obey ever word
2. grace - through the death of christ
any other form of any gospel is to be anathema, it is not from God

Here's the answer to my question...
We're discussing:
Romans 8:29
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
God foreknew who would be saved.
It states it plainly.
OK.
Those who God foreknew He also predestined in some way.
How?
God predestined them TO BECOME CONFORMED to the IMAGE of His SON.
The predestination is as to HOW....
to become like the image of Jesus.
It is NEVER a who....but always a
HOW or a
PURPOSE.

romans 1 was directed to the gentiles
if we look at romans 2. He changes his tune. and goes at those who accuse the gentiles.. and puts it back in their shoes..

The predestination for salvation is of those who loved Him. God didn’t just pluck folks out saying “you over there and you and you.” Nooooo… He chose those who loved Him.
