And perhaps this will clarify @101G
What God (IEUE) says and does is not separate from His Nature...
ALL God does and says is good.
All His creation was Good and He said so.
Then came the fall, not His fault nor doing
nor his fault was the evil adam did to
cause us all to be here on this earth
not made by God, in this body not by God
for all these centuries separated from
eden -- His land for us -- and from Him..
Everything He does is to get His souls Home
(soon hopefully!!)
and everything He does is good.
Every evil is mystery babylon...
Consider that the context or point of view determines evil.
From a fallen human point of view, it seems evil that a whole civilization
be wiped out... and atheists often bring that up, including Marcion,
though he was not atheist, as if God did evil and therefore, he 'separated'
the OT off from the New... only viewing the new as valid..
and a pope, agreed to that separation of the bible into two pieces!
which continues to this day.
But consider, the civilization mentioned in the OT is NOT on this earth,
that idea is a scribal 'error'. It is a satanic principality, who
conquered and hurt Eden, in the other reality...
And that of course it is GOOD to destroy a satanic principality.
What esau, as academic bible experts, as 'in charge' of theology,
has done is to attempt to remove or blur or change every context
in the bible, rendering it harmless to satan since no longer
is what God said clear, therefore, the confusion that
from His own Nature (from which He created His gorgeous reality
before the fall) that he could do evil.
Many theological errors are like this... entering into the text
en passant, in passing, but not innocently!, and disarming
what He said, by mixing the evil words in with His words.
So, His nature only produces what has His Signature.
Evil is not His signature. If he does something that to you
or anyone appears evil, there is a misunderstanding of what God said,
because of the textual corruption... which is why Daniel referred to the
sealed vision in the last days.
