Deliverance from Calvinism

Who are the “whosoever” in John 3:16: “. . . that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”?

The statement 'whosoever believeth' excludes nobody from believing. It excludes nobody from believing.

In the Bible, "whosoever" is an archaic pronoun that means "anyone" or "any person whatever" and emphasizes the universal scope of God's offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. It indicates that God's grace and eternal life are available to everyone, regardless of their background, status, or nationality.

Ah but the "two wills" of God are still there.... << sarcasm.

At every level, they try to "explain away" what is written with their false doctrines and traditions.

You can alive walking and talking and be dead on the inside.

AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins
Eph 2:1.

This verse tells us that unbelievers are spiritually dead in their sins, awaiting a future judgment. This "spiritual death" does not imply they are literally dead or non-existent but rather separated from God's spiritual life due to their rejection of Christ.

Alive in Christ is the way to go.;)

I would say they are/were never alive. They "abide in death". This is more accurate. "Spiritual death" is a misnomer.

The new birth brings NEW life to dead people.

I wanted to talk about death in general and when I went to start a thread, I felt as if I shouldn't. It might be better to deal with this misnomer referenced by most anyone as "spiritual death".

Would that be okay with you?

So new historically speaking?
Yes. Or new as in made up or inaccurate. Like all doesn't mean all only the elect.

Yes I would like to hear more.

ou do realize this statement reads like
that already believe so that you can know you have
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life,

so that you will believe
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Yeah I know what it says. Believing is the result of regeneration, spiritual life and grace given.

Confessing with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in the heart God raised Him from the dead, is the CONDITION for an unsaved person to become saved.
Those are good works, you promoting salvation by works. Also only a saved regenerated man can confess Jesus as Lord by the Spirit 1 Cor 12:3

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
