What's Wrong with Calvinism?

Really? According to 1 Corinthians 2 only the Spirit understands the things of God. So how did you come to understand them? Read the whole chapter
Elementary .

Do you understand John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” ? I AM SURE YOU MUST.

1 Corinthians 2:10-12
10 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,
11 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.
12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

Are you aware that YOU were made as a tripartite individual.... with spirit, soul and body?

In 1 Thes 5:23 we are told.....Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is your spirit that communicates with God.... through the Holy Spirit.

As I posted already in John 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

We communicate with God through our spirits. Our spirits communicate with the Holy Spirit.

When we were born each was given a spirit. Eccl 12:7 says then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Our bodies return to the earth, and the life-giving breath returns to God.

Many error in saying the spirit and soul are the same... that is not true because Our souls can be destroyed as is said in
Matt 10:28 “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Or as we see in Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Because the Holy Spirit is the only way we can know God, it is through our spirits communications with him that enables us to receive whatever the Holy Spirit is communicating to us.

This is why I had a spiritual rebirth. All from my own faith and after I believed and nothing that was predestined for me by the heavenly Father.

Do I expect you to understand what I just said? NO. But I have lived it and experienced it.

I will leave you to ponder why I post this from Paul, when you likely will not uunderstand the meaning to me.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (1 Corinthians 2:12 KJV). .

So what. Why would He tell him he had to be born again if He could not be at that time????? Keeping in mind He is speaking in the present tense still under the Old Covenant.
Who stateed he could not be born again around that time

Did you just ignore the fact John the Baptist was teaching the kingdom of God was at hand as did Christ?

Exactly. Excellent verse. You know them by the Spirit just as I said. Its okay to say I agree with you.

Oh, so under the Old covenant you could be born again?
Did you read?

John the baptist noted the kingdom was at hand

The kingdom did not cover the entire Old Testament era

Jesus noted the kingdom was at hand

He taught one must be born of the Spirit to experience the kingdom

Men were not born of the Spirit until Christ was glorified

So anyone open to the truth of the issue can see All Old testament saints had not entered into the kingdom Christ was speaking of.

As suspected....

Would you also call these excellent

Faith is granted by the word of God

Romans 10:17 (LEB) — 17 Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word about Christ.

John 20:31 (LEB) — 31 but these things are recorded in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

2 Timothy 3:15 (LEB) — 15 and that from childhood you have known the holy writings that are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NASB 95) — 13 For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.

Romans 10:6–14 (NASB 95) — 6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7 or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” 8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
