Another former Calvinist Sam Shamoun

Yes I answered you in the same way Jesus answered the Pharisees and they did not like His answers in the same way you do not like my answers to your questions. :)

Be imitators of Christ.

Amen !!!

The Bible has the answer to your question .

Remember God delivers from evil and does not cause evil

Matthew 6:9-13

“Pray, then, in this way:

‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 ‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 ‘Give us this day [e]our daily bread.
12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

John 17:15
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.

2 Timothy 4:18

2 Thessalonians 3:2-3
And that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

James 1:13
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone.

1 Chronicles 4:10
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Psalm 121:7,8
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul…

And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

Nobody said cause. Does He some determine evil to occur. Yes or no?

Nope Classic question begging

Speaking of a fallacy.

Glad I could help
Fatalism, determinism, causing something to happen where there can never be another result except for what has been predestined to occur is Calvinism 101.

It’s your own doctrine you are rejecting 😂

No you didn't. God does not determine all evil. So some is okay right?
If you are now claiming God does not determine all evil, you have broken with a tenet of your theology which States all things are determined by God.

If you are not, then you have failed to defend your theology and are still diverting.

Never claimed any such thing. You said God does not determine all evil. So some?

"You meant it for evil, but God MEANT IT for good." That's God determining that evil will occur (for His good purpose).
No that’s not God determining evil it was the brothers evil intentions not Gods. God worked out their evil intentions which resulted in a good outcome. That’s the biblical narrative.

Hope this helps !!!
