Prov 21
21 In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water
that he channels toward all who please him.
2A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart.
3To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

The King of kings (Revelation 19:16), Lord Jesus Christ, He is the head over all rule and authority (Colossians 2:10).

Thanks, @civic, for quoting (Proverbs 31:1-3) - a wonderful passage showing the Sovereignty of God.

This time, I ask you about your "Some not all kings" (proof post #9,374), which king's heart is outside of the control of the King of kings (Revelation 19:16)?

You can't be saved unless you know.....WAIT FOR IT... Jesus. And believe He is who He said He is and did what He said He was going to do.

And He is coming back, on a white horse even.

One more thing...Even Demons Know Scripture.

You wrote "You can't be saved unless you know.....WAIT FOR IT... Jesus. And believe He is who He said He is", and not a single Free-willian believes Lord Jesus ....WAIT FOR IT... when Christ says to all His own sheep in all time that He is the exclusive Chooser of Christians unto salvation - see who He said He is with “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation).

Free-willian is a concept made up in your head. Therefore I'll take all of your made up concepts that you post with a grain of salt.

@Kermos

Who was he talking to when he said these words? “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19,)

Who Is Jesus Talking to in John 15? And Why Is It Important?

Here is a little light reading of explanation as to why this is a bad choice for you to keep hounding at the people God gave free will to.

John 15:16

Read Introduction to John

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Friendship with Jesus does not imply equal footing with Him. Jesus’ disciples did not choose Him but He them.

16 You [emphatic] did not choose Me,

Jesus chose each person of the apostles to bear fruit. Their friendship with Jesus did not originate with them. The apostles did not earn the right to follow Jesus; He gave them that right from the grace of His choosing them.

but
[strong contrast] I [emphatic] chose you and appointed you [the apostles]

Not only did Jesus choose the apostles but He “appointed” them to their task or office on earth. Jesus commissioned the apostles for the new economy that was about to begin. It was not their choice (Jn 15:19). It was common for disciples to choose their teacher. The initiative of friendship with Jesus occasioned completely with Him. It was one sided.

“Chose you” is not theological here but simply the choosing of the apostles to carry Jesus’ message to the new economy after He went back to heaven. He chose them to bear “fruit” in the coming new age.

that you should go and bear fruit,

The purpose of Jesus’ choosing His apostles was that they would bear fruit
. Bearing fruit in this context involves conveying His message and its implications. The people in the upper room needed the apostolate to go and bear fruit. They required the authority to do this. Much of it would be to write the New Testament.

and
that your fruit should remain,

Jesus was not interested in superficial fruit but fruit that would last. Whatever success the apostles may have in ministry by their fruit, it would come by answered prayer. It was important that the apostles did not produce superficial fruit but fruit that would last. They would not be productive if they moved into a listlessness about prayer.

that whatever you ask the Father in My name

The apostles were not left alone to convey the message of Jesus to the world. They could ask the Father in Jesus’ name for resources to do the task. “Whatever” is thorough; nothing would be held back if asked “in My name” (Jn 14:13).

He may give you.

The “He” here is the Father who answers prayer. The outcome of the ministry of the apostles did not rest on their efforts only; it reposed on God ultimately. It was imperative that they call upon God for their ministries.

The outcome of their ministries was in God’s hands—“He may give you.” They received results following their prayer/s not because of the worth of the petitioner but through their relation to Jesus.

Free-willian is a concept made up in your head. Therefore I'll take all of your made up concepts that you post with a grain of salt.

You just brushed off Lord Jesus Christ's words of “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation).

Largely, I use free-willian to indicate a person choosing toward God, emphatically Lord Jesus Christ, so this remedies your "Free-willian is a concept made up in your head".

Free-will is a conjured concept of the traditions of men (Matthew 15:9).

In Truth (John 14:6), the Almighty God is Sovereign (Genesis 1:1) in man's salvation and affairs of man (Daniel 4:34-35)! PRAISE LORD AND GOD JESUS!!!

Which disciple are you reincarnated from?

Now the natural man has a will, but yet since he is dead in sin, alienated from the life of God, he can never will matters concurrent with spiritual matters of salvation and doing the will of God in that sphere. As natural men our will/heart is enslaved to sin.

This is wrong in so many ways, when you cut a persons words up and do not quote his message then make it appear that he said something he did not say

God caused me to quote @Jim's messages in full - including the message you quoted. Your message "is wrong in so many ways", for example, you need to notice that @Jim vehemently fights against what he called my "view". You free-willians think you can throw your words around then deny the implications of your words, but your words proceed from your heart (Matthew 15:16-19, Matthew 6:21). The message that God caused me to post is Truth (John 14:6).

When you make statements like "God caused me to ....", my response will always be "God caused me to ignore what you said".

Side comment.

One question I have and it needs to be answered by those who are anti free will.

If I, and others, do not have free will.... that you insist we do not....how is it that we are able to post what we do?

IOW... If the Heavenly Father is in charge of all we do and think ummmmmmmm????????avi_headscratch.gif... lets say theologically wise, for lack of a better description... because I do not think he forces anyone to select Cheerios over Oatmeal in the AM.... (could be wrong)

But lets say that we all... every single one of us has been predestined. (Ill leave those condemned to eternal death alone for the moment).....

Then why, when you predestined people are so absolutely certain that you are right and I/we are wrong.... do you think the Heavenly Father does not just up and stop forums like this one, and others?

He would know that you are telling the truth.... right? But He allows us to voice our opinions that you say we do not have.
And if He is in total charge of us through predestination, why are we led to scriptures that we are that counter things you post?

I'm just curious.

God did not create evil.

He gave us free will. introducing the possibility we may sin.

he did not remove that free will

The Word of God is "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I YHWH do all these" (Isaiah 45:7).

The word of @Eternally-Grateful is "God did not create evil".

God created man, and man starts out as evil. The Word of God is "No one is good except God alone (Mark 10:18).

Man does not choose God for the Word of God is “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation).

We Christians who are cleansed by the exclusive choosing of Christ - we are made at peace with God in Christ.

Free-will is a conjured concept of the traditions of men leading to worship in vain (Matthew 15:9).

In Truth (John 14:6), the Almighty God is Sovereign (Genesis 1:1) in man's salvation and affairs of man (Daniel 4:34-35)! PRAISE JESUS!!!

2Thessalonians 1:5-12 and 1 Peter 4:12-19 both discuss what will be the result for those who fail to obey the gospel, namely eternal condemnation. That clearly implies that there is the result of eternal life, i.e, salvation, for obeying the gospel. A similar thought is found in Romans 10:16. Thus obedience is clearly indicated. Obey the gospel and be saved; fail to obey the gospel and be condemned.
We obey the gospel by choosing to believe the gospel. Romans 10:16 - But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) To "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation.

The gospel is not a set of rituals to perform, a code of laws to be obeyed or a check list of good works to accomplish as a prerequisite for salvation.

Good works are not a problem.

unless we make them a requirement for eternity in heaven with God.

then it becomes a huge problem
Good works are not a problem at all until saved FOR good works (Ephesians 2:10) becomes saved BY good works. (Romans 4:5-6; 11:6; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9)

Folks who promote works-righteousness just don't understand (1 Corinthians 2:14) and they also refuse to believe the gospel. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21)
