Your Views on The Trinity

There aren't any verses where Jesus got up and performed a resurrection on himself. When you are ready to talk about that I am here.
duhh. Jesus did not go around dying each day and raising himself. This happened after his death. You do not have to thank me for fixing your thinking.

I'm saying it was not something he did all the time like you were suggesting by saying you do not see multiple verses of him doing that.
I am not saying Jesus resurrected himself all of the time or ever at all. Due to the lack of evidence in the Bible there is no other logical conclusion.

Question, why do the people in your religion keep saying Jesus resurrected himself, but when asked to show where the Bible demonstrates Jesus doing it you can't do it? In Christianity, we say that Jesus gave a prophecy about being resurrected when he spoke of the temple of his body being destroyed and raising it up again, but we know that the rest of the Bible says that God (the Father) did the resurrecting.

uh. maybe you can reconcile Jesus' statement of himself with the other statements of how he was raised. But that might be too hard for you unless you call Jesus or the Father a liar in John 2:19-20. You know the options by now. You will carry this with you for quite awhile now.

Show one example that says Jesus or the Son of God actually performed an action or was somehow involved in his own resurrection. Without that, it means Jesus gave a prophecy about the Father resurrecting him.

Here's 21 verses where someone other than Jesus is resurrecting Jesus. I challenge you to show even 1 verse about a post-mortem Jesus or Son of God resurrecting Jesus.

Acts 2:32 – "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses."
Acts 3:15 – "And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses."
Acts 3:26 – "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you..."
Acts 4:10 – "Be it known unto you all... that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead..."
Acts 5:30 – "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree."
Acts 10:40 – "Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly..."
Acts 13:30 – "But God raised him from the dead."
Acts 13:33 – "God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus..."
Acts 13:34 – "And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead..."
Acts 17:31 – "Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
Romans 6:4 – "Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father..."
Romans 10:9 – "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
1 Corinthians 6:14 – "And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power."
1 Corinthians 15:15 – "Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ..."
2 Corinthians 4:14 – "Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus..."
Galatians 1:1 – "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead)."
Ephesians 1:17, 20 – "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory... Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead..."
Colossians 2:12 – "Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead."
1 Thessalonians 1:10 – "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead..."
1 Peter 1:21 – "Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead..."

NO man takes my LIFE from me
I have the POWER to lay it down
and i have the POWER to raise it up

John 10:18 specifically

.“No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

No man can. But He can as he is God. All part of the master plan that you are so clueless about.

People like Mike and Fred have a religion and they are sticking to it. It really pretty much comes down to that. What concerns me is the invincible ignorance associated with it. It's okay to be wrong, no shame in that, but being wrong and seemingly comfortable with it is where the shame comes. People should be truthseekers.
They have two what my friend calls "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards. And they use it every single time whenever they need it.

1.) That was his human part.
2.) God did not mean for us to understand because we are only human.

There's no Scripture that says Jesus had two parts or that God wanted us to not know who Jesus is.

I already did show you . You just cannot recognize the scripture my friend .
OH i know many can run to google , they can run to church prepared cheat sheets
But what worries me is that THEY have no knowledge when TRUTH is simply written
and rather all they have is knowledge of what THEYS MEN and denominations TAUGHT THEM .
When i wrote
that men will do as men will do
but sheep will do as JESUS BIDS to do . I WASNT KIDDING .
sheep do not heed the lips of strangers of doctrine twisters . THEY just BELEIVE the TRUTH
even if they do not understand it in full . What they dont do
is try and TWIST what is written to fit THEY OWN MINDSET of what THEY or they pastor told them it meant .

Funny. You are playing the myopic reader of scripture. You disappeared when discussing John 2:19-20. You have to add that to your list. You may still be able to edit your list.
Many sure can and do Run swiftly and dissappear . Running to cheat sheats , to google
to timelines and etc . Running to and fro .
And when one brings biblical doctrine to them
THEY DONT even recognize it lest one types out chapter and verse . WE got problems in the house indeed my friend .
What they dont do and dont really have is actual biblical knowledge .
At most many have pre concieved ideas about what men thought the truth meant and prepared
the scrips to fit their own minds ideals .
What many did not do
was have any real desire to just love and to enjoy , to learn and to grow
in the lovely pages of that there bible they often quoate out of text to support whatever it is they do so beleive .

Am I to believe that I can do greater works than God?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; (John 14:12)

The Trinity folks have 2 what my friend calls "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards. And they use both every single time whenever they need them.

In conclusion, you have no examples of Jesus resurrecting himself. That's the end of the debate, sir. There is no path forward for you to make any other arguments.

A lot of talking and no Scripture. Please show us the verse where any wrote about Jesus resurrecting himself. I would add, you would be the first one in the world, in all of history, to find it.

The only way in which Jesus received "lambano" his life back from being dead, was by his obedience to God's commandment that he should give it up of his own will and just as he also very clearly said in John 10:17-18.

Notice that Greek word "hina" that is translated in most translations as "that" for it actually means "in order that" and therefore the Commandment of God was that he would lay down his life of his own free will in order that he would received it back again from the dead and the authority he speaks of was God's word on it period.

Jesus was our example and forerunner in this also and just as the Bible says, for the same commandment is actually given to every believer, that if he will lay down his life in service and obedience to God even if it means his death by doing so, he will receive it back again at the resurrection when Jesus returns in the clouds.

tearhair_smiley - Copy.gif HE SAID; Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

John 2:20 The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”

2:21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

2:22 So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Now.... you tell me who raised Him? If the rest of the bible says God. That is correct because Jesus is God.

John 2:22 is written in the passive voice and suggests the way John interpreted Jesus' words as not something that Jesus would do to himself, but rather an action Jesus' body received. Means John didn't believe Jesus resurrected himself given the immediacy of the context of John 2:22 to John 2:19-21. The rest of the Bible says God (the Father) resurrected Jesus. Do you agree?
