Why The Trinity is Wrong: Definition

No, you could not quote multitudes more.

I once asked a trinitarian if they realized not every use of the word "word" in Scripture referred to Jesus. They acknowledged that. Then I pointed out that John 1:1 is one of those times.

By definition, a word is a thing not a person.

All your said attempts to change definitions show how trinitarians must violate definitions to support their doctrine. Someone is called X, so that makes them X. Wow. Don't you realize a weak argument when you come across it? You cannot be a son and not be a created being. Definition.

No back door inferences will break the barrier of definition being a reason why the trinity is wrong.
I see that you keep evading Rev 19:11-16. This is the 3rd and final time I'll ask you to address those verses.

No verse in the Bible is a "back door inference", let alone Rev 19:11-16. The Bible says what it means and means what it says.

@Wrangler,
are we discussing Isaiah chapter 53 now? before we start, who do you say is God's own ARM?

101G.
I've already answered this question numerous times and ways. An attribute of a Being (arm, spoken words) is not a WHO but a WHAT, not a person at all, just a part of the Being, a figurative way of talking.

For instance, God says he freed the Hebrews from Pharaoh with his 'Mighty Hand.' This is a euphemism, not yet another person. He actually used, toads and flies, etc. But the point of the phrase is not to be taken literally.

error in Isaiah 53, it's a person, now who is God's own Arm.

No. I've address Rev 19:11-16 by inference numerous times now. You just want to keep moving the goal posts. What about X? What about Y? What about Z? AS IF any of these change the point that has been made numerous times.

Apollo Creed is called, "The Master of Disaster." That does not make him the master of disaster literally. You just don't want to accept God's word is not a person even if someone is called that.

You do not have to keep pretending to be the judge.

James 4:11-12
New Living Translation
Warning against Judging Others

... If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you. 12 God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?

LOL That's your response to realizing you've been duped by a bad translation?

It's so simple! Sons are not their father's and Jesus' father is the God YHWH - the only true God of the Bible. Jesus says so himself.

Jesus is Lord and God over all creation.

now last time who is God's Holy ARM in Flesh?

The Book of Revelations is an account of what John actually and literally saw. Metaphors are not actually seen, they are just a figure of speech. Do you understand the difference? I'll attribute this Christological failure by Utilitarians to not understanding Engish.

Correct. Movements that intentionally warp the English language, as a sacrifice to their presuppositions, should be exposed as such and those people should be prayed for.

so we can take this as you don't KNOW... thought so. so, 101G will break it down for you.
Isaiah 53:1 "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?"
#1. one must be a believer of God, which you're not. and as a believer God is revealing his "OWN" Arm.

Isaiah 53:2 "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."
#2. he here is the ARM of God, the ECHAD of God in Flesh, who is the "Lord" God JESUS.

#3. A Root out of dry Ground? he has no biological mother, nor biological father. without beginning in flesh and without end in flesh. the Root is before anything. and the Root is Spirit, shared in flesh, (per John 17:5, establish in Phil. 2:6)

Isaiah 53:3 "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."

#4. is short, he was not worldly as other men. he did not follow after the flesh, nor think after the flesh.

Isaiah 53:4 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."

#5. Divine Justice, he was crucified, for our sins that are past. Stricken: is another word for nailed, as with smitten, to strike.

Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

#6. Wounded:: H2490 חָלַל chalal (chaw-lal') v.
1. (properly) to bore.
Bore: verb "To make a hole" means, stab, pierce, spear,
Bruised: Crucify, https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/another-word-for/bruise.html#C0-10
also, another word for smitten, meaning nailed.

are we getting a picture? just as in Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."

God's own ARM in flesh is GOD HIMSEL, the ECHAD, or the EQUAL SHARE of God himself.

this is Just to easy not to understand.

we're speaking of Isaiah 53
If that were true, you would not be insolently proclaiming errors of the day.

Rev 1:1 says God gave Jesus the revelation. That is how we know Jesus is not God.

so we can take this as you don't KNOW.
Poor form. You ask a question. Don’t like my answer. So, resort to Ad Hominem.

I just located in the Aramaic Bible translation of Galatians 5:17 what explains perfectly
why certain people are drawn to false doctrine like flies are to honey. And, why they
oppose those who do find sound doctrine....

They are "spiritually pathological."

"For the flesh craves anything that opposes The Spirit and The Spirit craves whatever
opposes the flesh, and they both are contrary one to another, lest you would be doing
whatever you want."
.
One sign of a pathological liar is as follows.

  • continue to lie even when confronted with the truth.

Agreed. And what could be more obviously false doctrine than the trinity that violates:
  1. Definition?
  2. Logic?
  3. Language Usage?
  4. Explicit Scripture?
And has no valid rejection criteria?

Rev 1:1 says God gave Jesus the revelation. That is how we know Jesus is not God.
Another rabbit hole and another example of how Utilitarians continue to exhibit poor grammar skills. First we discussed the Utilitarian poor understanding of metaphors. Now we'll delve into Utilitarians' poor reading comprehension.

(Rev 1:1) A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to declare to His servants things which must shortly come to pass. And He signified it by sending His angel to His servant John,

Notice the words "to declare to His servants". Why did you skip over that phrase? Isn't that part of the verse? To illustrate its importance, let's investigate the entire verse step by step.

We all know about Christ's total knowledge of the Father (John 7:29, Matt 11:27, etc...). So that's not what's being spoken here.

(John 7:29) I know Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me.

(John 8:55) and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word.

(Matt 11:27) All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

So you have to keep reading until the phrase "to declare to His servants". At that point it becomes clear that Rev 1:1 is talking about Christ's Mediator role, meaning that the revelation that John received from His Father, to write down by the Holy Spirit, comes only through Christ, as authorized by God the Father. In other words, no one can receive spiritual gifts, bessings, nor revelation apart from Jesus, the One Mediator between the Father and man. So it's not that Jesus knows nothing; it's that what Jesus does know from the Father is authorized by the Father to Jesus for it to be revealed to John through the Holy Spirit.

Rev 1:1 says God gave Jesus the revelation. That is how we know Jesus is not God.
God is the Lord Jesus, who do you think sent the angel? in your fleshly mind you think two person standing next to each other, one ... PHYICALLY gave something PHYICALLY to the other one..... don't be silly. it's only ONE PERSON being REVEALED. God in flesh, Glorified.

these fleshly minds is why Christianity is given a bad name, for the holfer of this Statement are IGNORANT in the word of God. and here in Revelation one actually think that someone is phyically sitting on a thone, and someone next to them.... Oh my.

101G.

Notice the words "to declare to His servants". Why did you skip over that phrase?
Because that is irrelevant to the point. The point is Jesus is not God as God gave Jesus the Revelation.
