Where did you see the phrase "literal metaphors"?
What I did say is that what John saw was literal. Which means that what John saw was not a figure of speech and not a metaphor.
Is your Unitarian Word of God still a figure of speech?
We don't see the actual Edit here.... Do we?
We get to only see something in the forum format that is supposed to be revealing Edit. Do we not?
He may be possibly deceptive. Even deceiving himself. We can not be sure if we are actually seeing him.
Now, if Wrangler could not lie like God can not lie? Then we could know with certainty we are seeing him
no matter how he chooses to reveal himself to us.
Here is why we can Trust the Word of God...
So when God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of the promise,
He guaranteed it with an oath. Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie,
we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged. We have this hope as
an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. " Hebrews 6:17-19a
Since God can not lie? Any representation He presents of Himself is God, and can be trusted! Even if its a talking tree.
One must have the inner witness that only comes by the filling of the Spirit, making us able to lock onto what was just said as to being true.
Those walking in their flesh can not understand properly. They will want to disprove that they are missing something vital. Something that
they see others having, but they lack. Hence.. the conflict.
Disbelief begets disbelief. They can not believe that they are spiritually deficient. It has to be the other ones.
Unless one walks within the enabling control of the filling of the Spirit over their flesh? Their flesh, no matter how high an IQ?
Will not get it.
grace and peace ..........
