Why The Trinity is Wrong: Definition

Where did you see the phrase "literal metaphors"?

What I did say is that what John saw was literal. Which means that what John saw was not a figure of speech and not a metaphor.

Is your Unitarian Word of God still a figure of speech?

We don't see the actual Edit here.... Do we?

We get to only see something in the forum format that is supposed to be revealing Edit. Do we not?

He may be possibly deceptive. Even deceiving himself. We can not be sure if we are actually seeing him.
Now, if Wrangler could not lie like God can not lie? Then we could know with certainty we are seeing him
no matter how he chooses to reveal himself to us.

Here is why we can Trust the Word of God...

So when God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of the promise,
He guaranteed it with an oath. Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie,
we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged. We have this hope as
an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. "
Hebrews 6:17-19a

Since God can not lie? Any representation He presents of Himself is God, and can be trusted! Even if its a talking tree.

One must have the inner witness that only comes by the filling of the Spirit, making us able to lock onto what was just said as to being true.

Those walking in their flesh can not understand properly. They will want to disprove that they are missing something vital. Something that
they see others having, but they lack. Hence.. the conflict.

Disbelief begets disbelief. They can not believe that they are spiritually deficient. It has to be the other ones.

Unless one walks within the enabling control of the filling of the Spirit over their flesh? Their flesh, no matter how high an IQ?

Will not get it.

The Unitarians, I've been exposed to so far, tend to change other person's quotes, formulate phrases that I never said, misunderstand basic English grammar such as what is literal and what is a figure of speech, run away from multiple questions, and on and on....

You wrote the phrase "literal metaphors", not me.
Yup.

To summarize your statement, he literally used a metaphor. You’re so brilliant!

For some reason, you are stuck on an accurate summary of what your write. Not only brilliant but funny. Carry on with square circles.

I used the phrase square circles also.

Carry on with formulating and accusing others of phrases they never wrote. It's not beneath you to change other person's quotes. What other things has Unitarianism taught you?

You are known to change other person's quotes. Now you're combining words from my different sentences, merging those words, and claiming the resulting phrase as mine. Your techniques might work around your circles
Yup. It’s called poetic license. Also called accurate summary.
You continue to run away from my question: Is your Unitarian Word of God still a figure of speech?
I wish you stop saying I run away from things. I run away from nothing.

This is true if I don’t immediately answer a question. Like in this case, seems to me that I’ve answered this particular gotcha question several dozen times.

You are confusing me not answering with you not acknowledging my answer.

So if you don't like what others tell you then you have given yourself to this "poetic license" to alter and rearrange their words. That way their new sentences either align with your presuppositions or they are made to be fired on. Sounds like the Masoretes. Might they be your ancestors?

Just do me the courtesy of telling me that you're going to research it. That's all I ask.

Admit it! I am your favorite Unitarian and poster on this forum.
Thomas Jefferson is my favorite Unitarian. Sorry about that. I personally call him the Renaissance Kid and I admire very much his Humanism philosophical view of life. I didn't like what he did to the Bible, mind you, when he produced the Jefferson Bible. He must have had some Masoretic ancestral genes to do that.

Now please don't change or rearrange what I wrote above. Thanks!

<sigh> You really know how to take the fun out of letting the air out of the balloon. 🧐

Only if I'm your favorite trinitarian and you admit it 😂
I CONFESS. I CONFESS.

You are my favorite trinitarian. @synergy gives you a run for your money, a distant 2nd now but he is closing in on you fast! 😁

Hilarious 😂
Thank you.

While we are talking about a serious subject, we don't have to take ourselves all that seriously.

I've observed some people take things personally even when they are not personal. What are the odds 2 people will have different opinions? 100%.

Most of my opinions have nothing to do with some random dude I'm communicating with online. LOL

You think the '37 Yankees are the best club of all time and not the '56 Yankees?! That's it!!! The gloves are off. We are now the Hatfields and the McCoy's. Huh?

no the 98 bulls 😂

I like to remind myself, Self... you're on the internet and you never know who you're going to run into or what their condition is in. It's that take it with a grain of salt thing. No use to stress out over anything said on these forums.

There is one true God, YHWH, who we with Jesus relate to as Father.

Without Jesus you could not know the Father.
He must reveal the Father to us!

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God
and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known."
John 1:18

If He is less than God?

We then can not, and do not, really know the Father.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through me."
John 14:6

There is no catch. The Bible simply says 'there is one God, the Father.' The question is, do you believe it? (yes or no)
