It is senseless to argue against the biblical fact that one is not in Christ and saved until they actually hear the Gospel of God's salvation and believe.
"For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"...for, "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God".
The assignment given to the Apostle Paul by the Lord Himself was to us Gentiles, "to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
The account of the Philippian jailer in Acts 16:29-33, "brought them out, and said, He called for lights, sprang in, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas, brought them out, and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house. He took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes, and was immediately baptized, he and all his household."
When was the jailer saved before or after knowing how to be saved? According to the biblical text it was not until after.
Some circles of believers get the cart in front of the horse thinking one is saved prior to the act of salvation. No one is saved, justified by the blood of Jesus Christ until they place faith in that truth; "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance; to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus."
