What's Love Got To Do With It?

Read the scriptures, all who actually read and believe them do

Galatians 3:26–29 (KJV 1900) — 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Christians are Abraham's seed

Ephesians 2:11–20 (NASB 2020) — 11 Therefore remember that previously you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands—12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, 15 by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, which is the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace; 16 and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility. 17 AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR; 18 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone,

By your hatred you make yourself an enemy of Christ
Let's make this easy (if there's such a thing with you.)

Show me in the following passage where Gentiles (non-Hebrews) are mentioned:

ABRAHAMIC COVENANT
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Gen. 17:6–7.

MOSAIC COVENANT
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. Ex. 19:4–6.

NEW COVENANT
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD,
That I will make a new covenant
With the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer. 31:31.

Gentiles, Gentiles, come out to play.

Go ahead. Prove Gentiles are in any of these three Hebrew covenants.

After Jews began to become born-again and baptized into the body of their Messiah Judaism and obedience to the Law flourished. True, biblical Christianity is obedience to God's Torah Law.

20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
Acts 21:19–20.

Even the apostle Saul after He met his Messiah continued to be obedient blamelessly to God's Torah Law.

Or do you deny these Scriptures I posted?

Speaking to Saul:

24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
Acts 21:24.

Purifying and shaving their heads are both part of the Nazarene vow and this is in obedience to the Law of Moses.
Saul said he was "separated from his mother's womb" meaning he performed the vows of a Nazarene which is in accordance with the Torah Law of Moses.

Unless you want to be like @TomL and reject the Word of God for leaning on your own understanding in the vanity of your mind. @TomL likes to add to the bible and doesn't accept God's Word as written and prefers to maintain false Gentile theology and reject the Word of God as written.

It says in Acts 21:24 that Saul "walked orderly and kept the Law."

Do you accept what it says about Saul? Yes or no?
Romans 10:4 says different--Christ is the end of the law.

The Abrahamic Covenant is with Abraham and his seed.

In your interpretation are you saying Saul is adding Gentiles to the Abrahamic Covenant because as Scripture says it is between Abraham and his seed and Gentiles are not his seed.

Are you saying Saul is adding Gentiles to the Abrahamic Covenant?

No one is lawless. God does not change, he did however do away with some Mosaic laws--like stoning one to death if unrepentant. NT says law will be written on hearts. That means if one has the love of the new covenant, that heart wouldn't even consider-stealing from their brothers, having any other god before their face, committing adultery on their mate, etc, etc.

Scripture cannot be broken.

The Abrahamic Covenant is between God and Abraham and his seed no matter what interpretation of the New Covenant Scripture you produce. And if the New Covenant writings from Matthew to Revelation are inspired of God, God would not say anything to contradict what He has already said, specifically, that the Abrahamic Covenant is with Abraham's seed to a "thousand generations" of Hebrews born from Abraham's seed. Notice there are no Gentiles, or non-Hebrews in this covenant as well as the other two covenants (Mosaic and New.)

9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Deut. 7:9.

A "thousand generations" implies forever and by the time Jesus walked the earth and died to redeem those (Hebrews) under the Law (Gal. 4:5) through His death and resurrection to seal a deal began with Abraham, only a couple dozen of offspring generations of Hebrews have been born.
The Abrahamic Covenant is between God and Abraham's family ONLY. There are no Gentiles (non-Hebrews) in this covenant and anyone - Peter, Saul, John, etc. - who says the opposite is lying and should be rejected as false prophets and apostles.

We are warned to be aware of anyone claiming to be "sent" by God who even rightly say "I am Christ" (meaning a professed Christian) in the Church and body of Christ.

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Cor. 11:12–15.

The Gentile theology today as stated by that Gentiles are in the Hebrew covenants is wrong. There are no Gentiles in any of the three Hebrew covenants. If you are saved and born-again and consider yourself "Gentile", according to Scripture, you just might have Abraham's Hebrew blood in your veins.
That is the only way to describe "Gentiles" being born-again. These are the offspring of "Jewish" and Gentile seed.

As clear as day:

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal. 4:3–5.

This is bible. This is the Word of God.
Don't add to it, or change it to fit your Gentile theology for anyone - prophet or apostle, pastor or teacher, evangelist or Christian - that says the opposite reveals themselves to be opposed to God.

I accept the Word of God above. Why don't you?

Precious friends, please be Very Richly Encouraged and Edified:

"Start talking about love, and many men are ready to look for the TV remote or some other form
of exit from the conversation. That’s because when it comes to the concept of love, even the love
described in the Bible, many people associate it with feelings, and men generally don’t like talking
about feelings. But is love a feeling?

I do not believe love, biblically speaking, is a feeling. Instead, love is a critical doctrine of Scripture
and is of such importance that it seems inconceivable that such a great doctrine would be rested
upon emotion.

The Bible emphasizes the idea of love as an act of selflessness and sacrifice. It teaches that true
love goes beyond fleeting emotions and requires intentional commitment. Love, from a biblical
standpoint, involves purposely showing kindness, compassion, and forgiveness toward others,
regardless of how our feelings are at the moment. Many marriages have needlessly ended under
the excuse, 'I don’t love him/her anymore.'

''I am persuaded that love and humility are the highest attainments in the school of Christ
and the brightest evidences that He is indeed our Master.'' —John Newton

What is Love?

Love might seem simple enough to define, but trying to do so in one sentence or even
one paragraph is as futile as trying to describe God in such a limited space. No “law of first
mention” could be used to describe God or love. If, as that great hymn says,

'The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell.
It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell.'

...“The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes
beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell.”

...then indeed, any chance at understanding love requires the whole Scripture. Paul’s prayer for
the Ephesians was that they

“May be able to comprehend… And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge”
(Eph. 3:18,19).

If God is love (cf. 1 John 4:8,16; 2 Cor. 13:11), then it follows that we must know God to know love.
Thus, love should only be understood in the same way that God should be understood, and that’s
through the complete revelation that God gave us of Himself, and that requires the entire Bible..."
(D Hosfeld)
'To speak evil of no man,
.. to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
.... For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish,
...... disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures,
........ living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs

according to the hope of eternal life.
This is a faithful saying,
.. and these things I will that thou affirm constantly,
.... that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.
...... These things are good and profitable unto men.
........ But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies,
.......... and contentions, and strivings about the law;
............ for they are unprofitable and vain.'

How timely is that, great post. Let me add this.

In Titus 3:2-9, Paul instructs Titus to avoid foolish controversies and genealogies, and instead, focus on what is profitable and useful for the faith of God’s elect. Paul emphasizes the importance of living a blameless and pure life, and to strive to be well-pleasing to God.

Avoid Foolish Controversies and Genealogies

Paul warns Titus to avoid foolish controversies and genealogies, which are unprofitable and useless. These controversies and genealogies may have been started in the schools of the Jews, and were likely related to the law and its interpretations. Paul’s instruction is to avoid getting entangled in these disputes, as they are not beneficial for the faith.

'Hath God said ... ?'

Hello @Aelian,

The first recorded words that Satan utters (above) are intended to cast doubt upon what God has said. Nothing has changed, the same tactic is used today isn't it?

Thank you

No doubt about it. That's why we need that whole armor of god on.

Heavenly Father, Your warriors prepare for battle. Today we claim victory over Satan by putting on the whole armor of God.
We put on the Girdle of Truth! May we stand firm in the truth of Your Word so we will not be a victim of Satan's lies.

We put on the Breastplate of Righteousness! May it guard our hearts from evil so we will remain pure and holy, protected under the blood of Jesus Christ.

We put on the Shoes of Peace! May we stand firm in the Good News of the Gospel so Your peace will shine through us and be a light to all we encounter.

We take the Shield of Faith! May we be ready for Satan's fiery darts of doubt, denial, and deceit so we will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

We put on the Helmet of Salvation! May we keep our minds focused on You so Satan will not have a stronghold on our thoughts.

We take the Sword of the Spirit! May the two-edged sword of Your Word be ready in our hands so we can expose the tempting words of Satan.

By faith your warriors have put on the whole armor of God! We are prepared to live this day in spiritual victory! Amen!!

Jesus Christ was prophesied to the children of Israel, came to the children of Israel, and as per prophecy and covenant died and resurrected for the children of Israel ONLY.

Every mortal on earth is under law, written on ones heart. Gods standards are for all mortals.

Every mortal on earth is under law, written on ones heart. Gods standards are for all mortals.
The Law is type and shadow of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was promised to Israel in prophecy and in the prophecy of the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31.
If all men have the Law written on/in their hearts, then all men are saved because it is the Holy Spirit by which dwells in the person and if the Holy Spirit dwells in a person, then the kingdom of God who is Christ dwells in them and this means all men are saved leading to Universalism.
Universalism is a Gentile lie. The Jews understood the Holy Spirit of Promise was given to THEM NOT GENTILES and thus it is a lie to teach Gentiles receive the Holy Spirit of Promise given by promise to Israel and fulfilled on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit of Promise as per the apostles tongues and Peter's sermon states by experience and by sermon the Holy Spirit of Promise was given to Israel.
The Law are God's standards to the children of Israel in covenant with God. God never gave His Law - and you can check with Moses - to Gentiles. Gentiles were NEVER under the Law. So, where does all this Gentiles have the Law written in their hearts come from? From the father of lies.

Peter is speaking to Jews. Jews are present for their Feast of Harvest from all over the empire, even from Gentile lands. Peter is speaking to Jews of all twelve tribes:

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:37–39.

Show me a Scripture in the Law, Psalms, and Prophets of the Holy Spirit promised to Gentiles.
I'll wait.

Subject Heading:- What's Love Got To Do With It?

'But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to His mercy He saved us,

by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by His grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.'

(Tit 3:4-7)

What love!
