What's Love Got To Do With It?

Acts 24:5)----- Paul went around setting up congregations. Jesus speaks to 7 churches in Revelation, not to synagogues.
I find this, a statement from Saul himself that as Jewish Christian he still was obedient to the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets. In "worshiping the God of His Father's he's talking about the Torah/Law and believing all things written in them guiding and instructing his daily and holyday life. AS A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN!

14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: Acts 24:14.

Saul still practicing the Law:

18 Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
Acts 24:18.

Saul didn't set up any synagogues or churches. They were already existing when he made his journeys.
Jesus is speaking to Jews AND Jewish Christians with His prophecy in Revelation. Jesus is speaking to Jews and Jewish Christians in all writings of the New Covenant from Matthew to Revelations "so that they might believe and by believing have eternal life in His Name.
Jesus was sent to ONLY the lost sheep of the House of Israel.
He was not sent to Gentiles. God has NO COVENANT with Gentiles and Gentiles got nothing coming from the God of the universe. Nothing. That's because Gentiles are NOTHING in the eyes and mind of the Lord:

17 All nations before him are as nothing;
And they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
Isaiah 40:17.

Gentiles are vanity. Oh, vanity of vanities! The Gentile nations are NOTHING before the Lord.

But Israel. This is what God says about the children of Israel who is a son of Abraham:

6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Dt 7:5–9.

WOW!
Israel is a holy people, they are a special people, they are a Chosen people, and they are ABOVE ALL PEOPLE on the face of the earth.

Do you believe the Scripture above? Can you give me an "Amen!" if you do?

you must have missed Romans 10:4-- Jesus is the end of the law. Paul's words inspired by God.

you must have missed Romans 10:4-- Jesus is the end of the law. Paul's words inspired by God.
No, I didn't miss it. I added it to when God tells the House of Israel that He was going to put His Law in their inward parts. This means the Holy Spirit would be put in their inward parts to lead and guide the people of God from within what the Law once did from without. Christ didn't end the Torah or the Law. He fulfilled it. This means the Law of God is wrapped around Him which He obeyed perfectly and when Christ enters a person's life the Law is in Christ and through His indwelling this is by which we are justified. God sees us as obeying perfectly the Law as Jesus did because Christ is in us and this is the basis of our justification. God sees us also as obeying His Law perfectly as Christ did.

If Saul's words are inspired by God, why does he contradict himself on at least two letters, and BREAK Scripture? Isn't your belief that when a person (Gentile) becomes born again they are now in the Abrahamic Covenant? Well, Genesis 12, 15, and 17 all record the Abrahamic Covenant is with Abraham and his seed (Hebrews) and Gentiles do not come from Abraham's loins. It went from Abraham to Isaac to Jacob and to Jacob's twelve sons and their Hebrew descendants. To say that Saul is saying Gentile are in the Abrahamic Covenant is to teach Saul BROKE Scripture, which Jesus said is impossible. Scripture cannot be broken. It is the very written Word of God and is unchangeable.
So, the heresy is in the interpretation Gentiles have and believe about Gentiles they teach are in the Abrahamic Covenant - which is a lie. Scripture CANNOT be broken.

Yes in a way, Under the new covenant = love, That ones heart has law written on it in that it wouldn't even consider having another god before their face, stealing from their brothers, committing adultery on their mate, etc, etc. But certain other Mosaic laws were done away with.

Love is not the New Covenant. Love was given to the children of Israel in the desert at the time of the Tabernacle and Moses. Israel was instructed in how to love and WHO as per the instructions and commands of God. Love has nothing to do with the covenants except in the fact that God loves Israel because of the covenants God made with Abraham, the children of Israel, and the House of Israel. And the command was to NOT give that which was holy (God's love) to dogs (Gentiles), nor cast their pearls (God's Word) to swine and for holy brethren to love holy brethren ONLY.

Israel fell away over and over and lost Gods favor each time. Sending Gods son to his death was the final straw. The renting of the banner the moment Jesus died cut Israel religion off of being Gods chosen. To this day they reject the one God sent to them, yet he does love them enough to leave the door open to them( Matt 23:39)--they outright refuse to walk through it. Those that did joined the new religion.

Interesting how to begin the New Covenant with the Advent of the Holy Spirit of PROMISE according to the eternal covenant and prophecy that three thousand Jews were born-again which was the beginning also of the Church Christ promised to build. But Israel knew His mercy endures forever.
Right?
Sending Gods son to his death was the final straw.
God sent God's Son to the death, but it was also a life and death Christ said He laid down of His own will. So, who was it really that killed the Son? Man? Romans? The Jews? Klingons? Andorians? Vulcans?
No. It was God Himself, the same God who sacrificed the lamb slain from [before] the foundation (creation) of the world (before God created heaven, earth, and man.)
Imagine that.

Yet we did esteem him stricken,
Smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:4.

But you didn't know that, huh? You believed the Constantinian Gentile theology that God would allow puny humans to assassinate the Holy Son of God?
The renting of the banner the moment Jesus died cut Israel religion off of being Gods chosen.
Constantinian Gentile Replacement theology at its finest.
Believe me, there are no expiration dates on God's eternal Promises to His Chosen people.
If God is betrothed to Israel and God divorces Israel (which Jesus said is a hardening of God's heart), and married another (Gentiles) while Israel lived that would make God an adulterer.
Let's see...the Torah of Space is the Holy of Holies located in the Holy City of David, located in the Holy Mount located in the Holy Land. And don't get me started on the Torah of Time or the Torah of Land.
But maybe God lied to Abraham, a "Just kiddin'" moment. Psych! Gotcha!
Sure, God lied to the children of Israel?
God lied to the House of Israel and Judah?
God lied. God makes Promises He has no intention of keeping.
Riiight.

Three thousand Jews were born-again on the day of the Feast of Harvest. Natural, Olive tree Israel became spiritual Olive tree Israel on that day, and the days after as Christ built His Church and populated it with Jews. But He didn't stop there. Oh, no. He added to His Church daily such as should be saved and from that day forward thousands upon thousands of Jews becasme born-again and obedient to the Law. Even Saul after meeting Jesus continued in the Torah and continued to be obedient to the Law - the Mosaic Law.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:46–47.

More and more Jews were being born-again and added to the Jewish Church Christ promised to build.

20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: Acts 21:19–20.

Nothing worse than a Law-abiding Jew! How about thousands of them?

24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself [Saul] also walkest orderly, and keepest the law. Acts 21:23–24.

39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Mt 23:38–39.

Salvation is not of the tongue, but of the life in covenant with God. The Abrahamic Covenant was the beginning of the Plan of Redemption that had a second and finished part to the Abrahamic and Mosaic Covenant. It was the sacrifice of the Son for those in the Abrahamic Covenant and this people are identified as the seed of Abraham, that is, the Jews (Hebrews.)

Under the Abrahamic and the Mosaic Covenant there was no such thing as "accept Jesus into your heart" or "if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart" in these covenants, especially since the Mosaic Covenant with the animal sacrifice was the deliberate and intentional sprinkling of the blood of the animal upon the people. And the people that were sprinkled were the Hebrews/Jews.

Jesus started a new religion=spiritual Israel. None that won't accept Jesus are of God.
Jesus didn't start a 'new' religion. He fulfilled an existing one (Mosaic) and transferred the Mosaic Covenant and the animal sacrifice upon Himself. But as with the Mosaic Covenant and the sprinkling of the blood of the sacrificed animal the yearly atonement for the children of Israel was not complete until the sprinkling of the blood upon the children of Israel, and the eternal atonement of the Hebrew people did not take place until the advent of the Holy Spirit of Promise and the application upon the elect/chosen of God (Hebrews) was not effected until a person was born-again and the salvation bought by the Son was applied (sprinkled) upon the person when born-again.

It wasn't a 'new' religion Jesus effected but the fulfillment of covenant and prophecy of the 'old' one (Mosaic Covenant.) What Jesus did was take upon Himself the requirements of the Mosaic Law. The requirements were the command of God to "be ye holy as [God] is holy" through the Law. By obeying every aspect of the Law and "nailing it to His cross" it killed Him and also resurrected Him, and being our substitute, He fulfilled the Law's requirements of holiness and righteousness, the very thing which is imputed to the born-again believer (1 Cor. 5:21) when born again.
It doesn't mean Jesus' death made salvation possible, but actual for there was a definite target people for whom He died just as the animal sacrifice was killed and its blood sprinkled upon the Hebrew people. When Jesus said from the cross, "Father, for give them for they know not what they do," was specific. They were the "them" that are identified in His High Priestly prayer in John 17:

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all thin
things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Jn 17:6–10.

As high priest whose service before God under the Mosaic Covenant was to offer sacrifices and pray for the people of God, Jesus as High Priest does that very thing. John 17 records His praying for the people of God, and the next few hours records the Scripture records the offering up of sacrifice of Himself to and for the people of God. This is the nature and purpose of the Passover (night) in Exodus and the nature and fulfilled purpose of the Passover meal to commemorate the eternal protection from eternal death given deliberately to and for the Hebrew people in covenant with God. There was no "accept the animal sacrifice into your heart" neither was there any "accept the human sacrifice into your heart" concerning Jesus as Lamb of God who took away the sins of the Hebrew people. The Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary purposefully did it and the Holy Spirit purposely applied it to God's covenant people: the children of Israel.
The first Passover prefigured the last Passover performed by Christ and the meals that both commemorated this protection of God. A protection from death.

That's a high aspiration but the bible teaches That I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.

According to the New Testament, particularly in the Gospel of John (John 21:25), it is written that if everything Jesus said and did were written down, the world would not be big enough to contain the books that would be written. This statement highlights the vastness and complexity of Jesus’ teachings, miracles, and actions during his ministry.

Learn and apply all he teaches in the bible. The big one being--Man does not live by bread alone but by EVERY utterance from God.---Thus all who listen to Jesus learn and apply= OT-NT without fail. His real ones taking the lead in his religion, teach -OT-NT without fail. If ones teacher is not teaching all that. They do NOT belong to Jesus.

Absolutely. Words of wisdom!

According to various sources, there are several signs that indicate one has been saved. Here are some of the key indicators:

  • No Condemnation: One of the earliest signs that you are saved is the disappearance of condemnation and guilt of sin. Since your sins have been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, you now appear clean and guiltless before God as if you have never sinned before. (Romans 8:1)
  • Assurance of Salvation: The assurance of salvation is knowing and being sure of your salvation due to the witness that God’s Spirit bears with all truly born-again Christians on their way to heaven. (Romans 8:16)
  • Word of God is No Longer Offensive: Another sign that you are truly saved is that the word of God will no longer be offensive or grievous to you anymore. (1 John 5:3)
  • Fellowship with Other Believers: If you find a common understanding and ability to generally fellowship with other believers, this is a sign you truly have been saved. (1 John 1:3)
  • Answer to Prayers: If you can think back to a time, even if it has been a while, when you know you received an answer to your prayers, be glad, for it’s proof that you are saved. (Psalm 34:15)
  • Spiritual Principles: A great sign you have been born again is that you are able to grasp spiritual principles. This is because the Spirit dwells within you and helps you to perceive the truths nestled in the scripture. (Hebrews 12:6)
  • Built-in Instinct to Detect Real Believers: You will find that you now have a built-in instinct to detect real believers; and you will love them above all others too. (Galatians 6:10)
  • Intimate Understanding of Adoption: You will have an intimate understanding that you have been adopted into God’s family by receiving the Holy Spirit as a “deposit” and guarantee of the fullness of future glory in the age to come. (Romans 8:15-17; Ephesians 1:13-14)
  • Longing for Christ’s Return: You know that this will come only through the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you long for this. (Revelation 21:1-5)
  • Hatred of Sin: The very existence of that war is a sign that you are saved. Your own sin will be even more detestable than everyone else’s in the world put together, and it will drive you to the foot of the Cross. (Galatians 6:10)
  • Love for Jesus Christ: You will have a strong, lively, and joyful love for the one in whom you have believed: the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:8; 1 John 4:19)
  • Love for All True Christians: You will have a deep and lasting love for all true Christians. You will find that you now have a built-in instinct to detect real believers; and you will love them above all others too. (1 John 3:14)
These signs are not exhaustive, but they are some of the key indicators that one has been saved.

  • Love for All True Christians: You will have a deep and lasting love for all true Christians. You will find that you now have a built-in instinct to detect real believers; and you will love them above all others too. (1 John 3:14)
These signs are not exhaustive, but they are some of the key indicators that one has been saved.

Matt 10:22--One must endure until their end to be saved.) One can be saved now, but can fall.

First they must accept Jesus as the Messiah, then learn and apply all he taught.
Where in the three Hebrew covenants is that a requirement, to "accept Jesus"? That's a false teaching of Gentiles. Not even faith is a requirement of the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant, or the New Covenant. But obedience is commanded by God in the Mosaic Covenant but only where curses and blessings are concerned. Once in covenant, always in covenant and saved.
Not one Hebrew/Jew had to "accept the sacrifice in their hearts" to be saved. The blood was sprinkled upon the people without any "confessing with your mouth or believing in your heart." More Gentile heresy. And you are infected with it.

The three Hebrew Covenants are salvation covenants, one building upon the last, and the New Covenant is only the Mosaic Covenant fulfilled and God's Law put in their inward parts as Jeremiah prophesied. This means the Holy Spirit is put in their inward parts.
Once in covenant, always in covenant. And do you know why?
Because God keeps His promises to redeem Israel.
Only.
Gentiles have no covenant with God, neither did Jesus as High Priest pray for the world right before he was to sacrifice Himself. But He did pray for those the Father gave Him, and for those Hebrews that are in covenant that are promised to be redeemed.

I think once you belong to Jesus you're his, bought and paid for with his precious blood. I've always liked Romans 14:4 as to me it shows that God's is not going to let us fall.

Who do you think you are to sit in judgment of someone else’s household servant? His own master is the one to evaluate whether he succeeds or fails. And God’s servants will succeed, for God’s power supports them and enables them to stand. Romans 14:4

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not part of my flock. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:25-30

WE as God’s people are part of our Lord’s flock. Those of His flock believe God, seek God, and know the Lord’s voice. The Lord gives us eternal life. Notice that the veracity of our eternal life is not subject to us or our behavior. No, the Son holds us and no one can snatch us out of His hand. No one includes us, And why would anyone that has known the joy of their salvation ever want to leave?

People that leave or fall away were never saved to begin with. They were like the great multitudes that followed Jesus around. The same people that yelled at pilot to crucify him.

Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate some of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” 28 Therefore they said to Him, “What are we to do, so that we may accomplish the works of God?” John 6:26-28

We as believers have been adopted into God's family and he's placed his seal on our adoption papers. Back in the days of Jesus and adoption could not be undone. It was unlawful.

Even Paul worried about falling. Judas fell. Solomon fell in the OT. Any can fall.

Jesus wasn't a Christian. Jesus didn't start a new religion. He came to fulfill an old religion called the Mosaic Covenant, and the New Covenant is merely Jesus fulfilling the Mosaic Covenant. Jesus was obedient to the Torah and the Law of Moses. That's the religion He practiced, and it was good enough for Him and it was good enough for the children of Israel and it was good enough to fulfill it and while He practiced the Law of Moses while on earth, so did His disciples. Even after Saul and Peter and James and the rest were born again on Pentecost, they continued to obey the Law of Moses. So did every Jew that was born of God and saved. Thousands and thousands of Jews that were born of their Holy Spirit of Promise continued observing, practicing, and obeying the Law of Moses. Didn't you know that? You would if you spent more time reading Scripture rather than men's commentaries. Do some original thinking and find some nuggets of truth on your own rather than regurgitating other men's bible studies.
