What is regeneration?

The Gospel is the good news of ones salvation, they are saved by what God in Christ has done for them Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
the gospel is the message of salvation- cart before the horse.

Your gospel is a law principle, do this or die
yours is no gospel at all- no one needs to believe it to be saved- you are saved without the gospel in your false systematic. saved before you were even born, before creation.

regeneration in your theology is an afterthought and not necessary to be saved since you were saved before you were created.

YIKES= a false gospel=- no faith necessary.

hope this helps !!!

Its a moses gospel, with thunder, you best believe or else

Vocational election ? The election is unto obedience, obedience of the Faith 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
The sprinkling happened only AFTER the people consented to obey God. See Exodus 24:3-8. That proves the election mentioned in 1 Pet 1:1-3 is vocational, conditional, with no mention of regeneration whatsoever.

3 So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words which the Lord has said we will do.” 4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. 6 And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” 8 And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”

The false gospel you teach isnt good news, its bondage
no it actually sets one free- whom the Son sets free is free indeed !

in your false gospel you remain a slave to sin which remains your master- in the biblical gospel one is set free and has a new master- Christ who conquered sin, death and the devil.

hope this helps !!!

Life comes before believing, believing is an spiritual activity. One comes to Christ believing after God draws him Jn 6:44

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Drawing is regeneration, so it can read:

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me regenerates him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
'No man can come to me,
except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God.
Every man therefore that hath heard,
and hath learned of the Father,
cometh unto Me.'

(Joh 6:44-45)

Hello @brightfame52,

The word translated 'draw him' is not also translated 'regenerate', so you have no authority to alter it in this way.

Notice should also be taken of 'to whom' and 'when' these words were spoken by the Lord. They were spoken to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, to whom Christ came: and those whom God would, 'draw' to Christ, would comprise the believing remnant of Israel. The reason for the calling of only a remnant and not 'all', is explained by Paul in Romans 11. They were an election within an election, for the nation was itself elect of God.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

The election is unto Gospel obedience through the Spirits regeneration 1 Pet 1:2,22

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

The Greek word translated "draw" also means "drag" or "unsheathe". It's more than just "attract".

The election is unto Gospel obedience through the Spirits regeneration 1 Pet 1:2,22
The only mention of regeneration in those verses is in your head. This is a typical rewriting of scripture by Calvinists.
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Why did you avoid commenting about the "sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ"? It's because it will destroy your Calvinist presuppositions.

Regeneration is implied, its Sanctification of the Spirit 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Same as in 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Hello @brightfame52,

John 6:44-45. the word, 'to draw'.
John 12:32; John 18:10; John 21:6; John 21:11
Acts 16:19; Acts 21:30
James 2:6

* The Greek word so translated, is not used in any other way than, 'to draw': so I would be interested to know how you came to the conclusion that you are justified in translating it, regenerate. What Scriptural evidence can you provide?
