I would rephrase that saying about this unity , liberty and charity thing .
Meaning . My phrase would have been , IN all that we do and say MAKE SURE ITS ALWAYS HONORING TO GOD
PUTTING HIM first above all and from that we had been truly able to help the brethren .
This non essentials list has grown my friend . IT was supposed to be simply meats drinks and days
but men have included this to now allow bad doctrines .
Look at how fast paul was to shut down what a man was trying to teach about the ressurection was past already.
YOU KNOW what we are supposed to BE LIKEMINDED about my friend . THE TRUTH OF GOD
HIS teachings , JESUS teachings , the apostels and etc . that list is not good .
Our focus should have been ON DOCTRINE , Everything JESUS taught . Had it been so
we truly could have helped .

have I read every page of the institutes ? no but most of it the same with arminius. I have read more than enough on the ECF's which included augustine to know what they believed in their core doctrines.
I bet you have not read every single word in the bible.

The question about what does another gospel mean .
The same as another jesus or another gospel . IT MEANS ITS CONTRARY TO THE JESUS in that bible in some way
Its contrary to the gospel written in that bible in some way .
AND NOW YA KNOW WHY i go after the all inclusive interfaith like a bull dog on roids . ITS A FALSE LOVEY DO GO SPELL from HELL .

HE who believes NOT the tesimony that GOD gave of the SON , IS CALLING GOD A LIAR .
but todays all inclusive says , OH NO they serve the same God we do just differently .

In the beginning of my walk as i read and read the bible in time i too desired to find a group that taught the truth .
SO into the library i went to read their own books . AND TO THIS DAY I FOLLOW NONE OF THEM .
not calivin , not the RCC , not the jw , not the mormon and etc .
You see by grace i had been well read in that bible
and by the time i went about to seek what church to join , as i read FROM their own mens lips
I KNEW OH NO , NOT that group , ON NO not this group . SOMETHING was dead wrong within it .

its like this do I need to read every book from the world to know what the world teaches according to the prince of the power of the air and the god of this world ? no as Jesus and the Apostles give us ways to test the spirits with the truth tests given in scripture. we can know false teachers and teaching when we are grounded in the truth with the essential/core doctrines of the faith once and for all delivered to the saints. Doctrines like God ( Theology ) Christ (Christology ) Salvation ( Soteriology ) the gospel etc.......... Scriptures gives us these truths so we can spot the fakes when we see them, read them.
As you know we don't have to read everything a false teacher wrote to know they are false teachers. We can read their core teachings to find it out easily when it comes to the nature of God, salvation, the gospel etc......

A mighty Amen to this, brother! We should judge the message, not the person. We ought to be receptive and open to correction, seeking to strengthen the weak and, hopefully, edify others. Unfortunately, there are many deceivers on platforms like this with their own agendas, which is why we must test the spirits.
Stay strong- I don’t agree with everything you post, and vice versa, but we can still be brothers in Christ.

We have no need to learn of the false .
And this too has become a mega problem within the church
as some heed men who say WE have to learn the KORAN to be able to witness to a musilim
NO WE DONT .
GOD knows what they need to hear and HE will give us the words to speak .

IS not by learning the counterfiet , for many counterfiets there be and they always changing.
LEARN THE TRUTH , TRUST IN GOD , STAY in the bible to learn and to grow

If any spirit cometh and preaches anything contrary to that which is written and inspired OF GOD

satan sure loves to twist the truth and to please the flesh of man .
And sadly even many who lip the name of Christ love to TWIST and SHOUT and they dance to his twisted tune my friend .
But sheep dont . They rejoice IN TRUTH and not in lies , not in inquity ..
No matter how kind and loving the sepent makes his version of love seem , no matter how he tries to claim it
as the LOVE of GOD , HE is a liar and desires not life but only death and thus he lies .
He gives humanity the desires of its flesh with the promise of salvation . What a liar that one truly is my friend .
But that is the one who has power over the carnal mind .
The only ONE who can keep us IS THE LORD . And its time we trust in HIM and not in men .
