Faith is the condition and repentance is the other side of the coin. No repentance no faith , no faith if there is no repentance.

They had remission of sins through Christs Blood. Matt 26:28
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Eph 1:7

Maybe we should consider these Truths and How They WORK TOGETHER for our SALVATION
Genesis 2:2
And by the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on that day He rested from all His work.
John 5:17
For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.
But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
Phillipians 2:12-13
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Phillipians 1:
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
John 6:29
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
CONCLUSION: Our works cannot save us BUT God's Work of GRACE brings us to SALVATION = from Start to Finish

Ephesians was written to folks that obeyed Acts 2:38.
It is called an epistle to the saints.
Did you know that?
You are saying this is for folks that had remissions of sins already?...

Confessing Jesus is a Work that begins/originates/comes from God and not ourselves.
By God's GRACE we hear His Calling to us = "Come out from among them and be ye separate says the LORD"
By God's GRACE HE speaks His Word into our hearts where the SEED of LIFE is planted = parable of the Sower.
By God's GRACE we are Born-Again by the work of the Holy Spirit in us whereby we are Born Again and cry "ABBA, FATHER"

This is the New Covenant of Christs Blood bringing Salvation, conversion to the Spiritual Seed, Gods Elect.
