He didn't have to be in eternal torment forever, in order to satisfy the eternal justice due for them He died, His death was of a Man who also was God, so the quality of Person He is was more than suffice to suffer the eternal suffering of mortals. If He suffered eternal torment for 15 minutes, that was enough in Gods Judgment, so you should watch what you say. Jesus wasn't just any man, He was also God. Jesus didn't take our punishment did he? That isn't what the Bible says. Jesus didn't go to hell for eternity. The only way your theory would work is if Jesus was in eternal conscious torment right now. Do you want to know what really happens when we die?
