The Hypostatic Union- the 2 Natures in Christ

To all,
many of you are not understanding the plurality of God as "LORD", all cap and "Lord" .... this is the same one PERSON in the ECHAD, or the EQUAL SHARE, ....... WITH HIMSELF. ......... THINK.... ok.

101G

I was responding to the topic and to you. Most people refuse to learn the intrigue teachings of the Hypostatic Union. Most Unitarians refuse to debate it. There is a reason for this. The teaching expounds the Scriptures.

Are you Sola Scriptura or Prima Scriptura?
this make no difference; listen the scriptures are not changing for anyone... ok. 101G ask you this, who laid the Foundation of the EARTH? Hebrews 1:10 "And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:"

now this, Zechariah 12:1 "The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him."

is this the same one person who laid the foundation of the earth.... the Lord, or the LORD, who is the same one person.... yes or no.

101G

Why wouldn't I?

You are ignoring that Genesis 15:4 creates a distinction in the seed of Abraham. Not this nonsense that you're peddling.
ERROR, is not the Lord the Last? the Last Adam as the seed? yes now listen please. Isaiah 41:4 "Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he."

the LORD is the first and .... with ..... the Last the seed. now this, Isaiah 48:12 "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last." now look up "ALSO" .... it's the same one person.

101G.

@praise_yeshua
well this is not hard to answer. who laid the foundation of the earth? the Lord or the LORD, or is this the same one person.

or as for the seed, the ordinal last, is he not the ordinal first? ... (smile)

Now you're getting somewhere........

An ordinal number isn't a "ranking system". This where the paradox begins to unfold. Being both beginning and end destroys any sense of ranking.

men make up things, and it only for deception. LET THE HOLY SPIRIT TEACH US, all this nonsense is just that. LET GOD LEAD US.

101G.

Can't you see the problem here. We are all claiming God is leading us and we all disagree. This is where authority is needed. Yet, there is no such thing as an authority that has the right be wrong in anything.

Today, leaders do not lead. They attempt to "rule" others. Jesus Christ leads....

GINOLJC, to all.
if God is three persons, then reconcile, John 1:3 and Isaiah 44:24 as to who made all things. and take note in Isaiah 44:24 the person there is "ALONE" and "BY HIMSELF" when he MADE ALL THINGS. and please note, ALONE means, "having no one else present". so, is the person in John 1:3 the same one person in Isaiah 44:24.

will be looking for your reply. in much GL.

Corporate singular pronouns. Like, "America ALONE entered the war." That's not one person.

You are equating the word "God" with the word "person" when they are not semantically equal.

Being both beginning and end destroys any sense of ranking.
lets see, Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." the TERM "Begining" is the Hebrew,
H7225 רֵאשִׁית re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank.
2. (specifically) a firstfruit.
[from the same as H7218]
KJV: beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
Root(s): H7218

now listen, the First, or Ordinal First, is the Father/LORD, and his RANK is FATHER..... are we getting it now.

LISTEN CAREFULLY, Isaiah 44:24 "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;"

Now, how many is "I"? ..... one right. now what do "ALONE" means? answer, having no one else present. got that.

now contrast this with John 1:3 as to who made all things. the same person.

alone eliminates any other person.

So you post a man's definition and insist I agree?

I made an argument relative to rank. Given the statement of beginning and end, there is no context of rank in this oneness you're preaching.

Jesus said he wasn't alone...

John 16:32.

in the ECHAD, he was not, but in Isaiah he was. Isaiah 44:24 "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;"

now look up alone.

@Johann my Brother, are you following this? see, it's good to discuss by asking questions. this is good. if we all ask in truth we all may learn from the Holy Spirit. as the Holy Spirit was in the prophets of OLD, he now is in us, so Let him lead US, and we all will LEARN the TRUTH. Amen.

You're finding value in this "Hebrew" expression that isn't what you believe it to be.

μόνος simply means unique.

We can all agree that God is unique.
