Can you define "Being the form of God" a little more. "morphe of form" (as you've presented" is a rather broad reference.

I believe Hebrews 1:3 fits right here....

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Notice the "innate" qualities of Incarnation within Jesus Christ. (Innate is a better choice of words because it is more relative to "Person" than intrinsic. When you appeal to "intrinsic", you're referencing Christ more so as an "object". Not a distinct "person

Which is what I find people do we they desire to downplay the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

You're working your way backwards. That is what false teachers do. They work backwards. Sideways. Hoop, skip and jump from one word to another.

It is a progression of thought. The Son speaking in the Incarnation.

This confirmed in what John cleared said they witnesses when the word was made flesh.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

By their words you shall know them....

If soul and spirit are the same thing they could not be divided.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

If soul and spirit are the same thing, they would not be identified separately.

1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Men are not referred to as being spirits, only angels are. Men are always called souls. Men have spirits but they are souls.
