The Difference between RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS

Do not be left behind or unprotected during the Great Tribulation that is just about upon us, even at the door. Of the 7 church ages, only the Philadelphian type of Christian will be kept from the hour of trial. That means either raptured in a pre-trib rapture, or supernaturally protected as the children of Israel were during the Egyptian plagues.

Revelation 22:11
11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Righteous:
1 John 3 has to do with righteousness. It is also about sinlessness from lawlessness (10 Commandments). That is a cleansing of our sin nature back to the human nature God first created in Adam. Satan who is the one that put sin in our nature to be inherited through Adam has been defeated. 1 John 3:8-9 Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. Now through belief in Christ as we repent we receive the Spirit of Christ in us and according to 1 John 1:9 are cleansed of ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

verse 24
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Righteousness is not sinless perfection people talk about, just sinlessness. Perfection comes next through the same abiding in Christ and He in us, and takes a while.

Holiness:
To be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect, ALL the fruit of the Spirit must become mature, then we are ensured of our place in heaven.
John 15:1-4
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean (sinless) because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
2 Peter 1:5-11
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Back up with scriptures, opinions are just human thoughts and carnal.
OUR RIGHTIOUSNESS: 2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

OUR HONELESS: 1 Peter 1:13 "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" 1 Peter 1:14 "As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:" 1 Peter 1:15 "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;" Holiness is a way of LIFE/Walk and to Walk with God is for him to be in us.

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." HOW IS THIS DONE? ....2 Corinthians 6:15 "And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" 2 Corinthians 6:16 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you," 2 Corinthians 6:18 "And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

was this not foretold? Leviticus 26:12 "And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people." this was fulfilled on Pentecost.

Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"

this is basic Christian doctrine, you should have known this.

Much better! Do you also believe that Jesus makes us sinless in real life so that we are righteous and holy in our actions and character?

Much better! Do you also believe that Jesus makes us sinless in real life so that we are righteous and holy in our actions and character?
not while we're in these bodied.
A. Romans 8:3 "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:"

while in these fleshly bodies we have help, the Comforter, but just in case we do sin, CONFESSION.
B. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:10 "If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

just a couple. Thank God for the NEW COVENANT, Confession of Sins..... that is because we should not be sinning as much in the first place but as the apostle Peter said we're growing up, 1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" and as we GROW we learn to sin less, and just in case we sin. we have an advocate on our side. 1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

I thank God for the NEW COVENANT

hope that helped..... be blessed in the Lord.

That's what I was afraid of. Don't you know that if you wait until you die to be sinless, Satan wins? That hellish doctrine is a doctrine of demons. A trick of the devil to make it too late for you to walk in pure righteousness.

When we are born again it is our spirit and soul that needs to be cleansed. Our spirit because that is our mind. And our soul which is our heart and conscience. The body can't sin on its own so it doesn't need to be born again now for us to be sinless, even holy! Our body is like a floppy puppet that obeys our nature. And our spirit and soul make up our nature. When cleansed we partake of the divine nature of God. 2 Peter 1:2-4.

That's what I was afraid of. Don't you know that if you wait until you die to be sinless, Satan wins? That hellish doctrine is a doctrine of demons. A trick of the devil to make it too late for you to walk in pure righteousness.
GINOLJC, to all.
(smile), Lady, Lady, Lady, Oh my. Listen to your OWNSELF,. YOU SAID, "That's what I was afraid of. Don't you know that if you wait until you die to be sinless, Satan wins?" STOP, and LEARN, have you not already died? .......... Remember your Baptism, or has you forgotten it? sin is Manifested where? answer in the body/Flesh, so, are you still in the flesh, has your old man died, or is he still living?. or ...... are you walking in NEWNESS OF LIFE AFTER THE SPIRIT? . another question, are you in the world and are you ..."APART" of the world? one more question, "have the Lord Jesus finished your Faith that he's the author of, and are you so PERFECT NOW that while in this world in these flesh bodies that you cannot or will not sin? and since you have achieved PERFECTION, then "FORGIVNESS", do not apply to you anymore. if you do, then 101G suggest you don't need an advocate, nor a Mediator, nor a HELPER., while we're still in this world before our transition. are you going to have your body that you're in now at his coming since you have already achieved Perfections in it? and afterward you have no need of a NEW BODY for the one you have on now is JUST PERFECT for you? did you not hear, the flesh profit NOTHING, this is why we're getting NEW ONES. one more question. who or what was transferred/Translated, ..... and SEALED until the day of REDEMPTION into the Kingdom of God? will 101G see it's not you for you are already perfect, .... correct? Colossians 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:" now one last question, since you're sinless, there is no need for any correction for you ...... right, you're Sinless all by yourself, You are righteous, all by yourself, you are faithful all by yourself, holy all by yourself. .... ect, all by yourself, Correct?

well then you have Graduated to, 2 Thessalonians 2:11.

now 101G's Last point, Hebrews 12:4 "Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin." NOTICE the "YE" here in scripture, meaning in English "YOU"....... (smile).

as for 101G, MY RIGHTIOUSNESS is in HIM, and not of MY-SELF. and 101G strive not against sin, for he, (Christ), was sin for me, 101G is at REST in him, from sin. but yet 101G is a babe in guidance to perfection. 101G, while in this world is not PERFEFTED ........... YET.... (smile), but 101G press toward the Mark of the High calling in Christ Jesus striving for PERFECTION in HIM. for while in this world in this body, 101G Live Not, for he has died to the world, by his baptism, in, in, in, in, Christ Jesus, hence as he Live, so now 101G. ..... in NEWNESS of Live in him.

so, yet 101G lives in this world, but is NOT a part of it. hence while in this world 101G try to Live as peaceable as he can until the Lord returns. and 101G do this with HELP... while in this present world.

101G

and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh
What does this mean to you.
while in these fleshly bodies we have help, the Comforter, but just in case we do sin, CONFESSION.

John is an apostle that likes to reiterate his writings. So go look at 1 John 2:4 and look at what he actually means in 1 John 1:6, 8 and 10. Those are not true Christians, but sinners. Christians are freed from sin and are now children of God.
(smile), Lady, Lady, Lady, Oh my. Listen to your OWNSELF,. YOU SAID, "That's what I was afraid of. Don't you know that if you wait until you die to be sinless, Satan wins?" This is Greek to me. I don't understand what you're driving at.

not while we're in these bodied.
A. Romans 8:3 "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:"
So are you saying you will continue to sin UNTIL we get new bodies? When we are born again of the Spirit that is regarding everything EXCEPT our bodies.

What does this mean to you.
it means to me we do not serve/walk in the flesh anymore. but in the Spirit. for the OLD man/Flesh is dead.
John is an apostle that likes to reiterate his writings. So go look at 1 John 2:4 and look at what he actually means in 1 John 1:6, 8 and 10. Those are not true Christians, but sinners. Christians are freed from sin and are now children of God.
ERROR, go to the beginning of the chapter, listen. 1 John 1:1 "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;" 1 John 1:2 "(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)" 1 John 1:3 "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:4 "And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."

well hate to bust your bubble, Sinners do not have fellowship with God or the Save, NOT "FELLOWSHIP. since you cannot take God or 101G's word for it... just goggle "who was 1 John written to" and see what you Get..... (smile).

understand something charismaticlady, which is basic Christian understanding. God never, ever require a sinner to confess his sins in order to be saved. NO, God requires sinners to confess, YES, but to confess his Son Jesus. Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

understand confession of sins is for the SAVED, not sinners. Got that?

This is Greek to me. I don't understand what you're driving at.
Hang in there it will come to you sooner or Later .... 101G hope. we have faith that you will come to the TRUTH that is in Christ Jesus.
So are you saying you will continue to sin UNTIL we get new bodies? When we are born again of the Spirit that is regarding everything EXCEPT our bodies.
did 101G say that? no, so why did you suggest it? ................... listen and Learn. 1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

my ..... "little" ...... Children? these are NEW BORN CHRISTIANS who are GROWING/LEARNING..... these are Growing UP in Christ. 1 Peter 2:1 "Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings," 1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" 1 Peter 2:3 "If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious."

now Lady C have you ever seen any child while as a child perfect, without errors or faults? if you have please tell us. as with Spiritual NEW BORNS, or Children, can we make mistakes. even some can stumble but can be restored. Galatians 6:1 "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." Galatians 6:3 "For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself." (which 1 John 1:8 clearly states). Galatians 6:4 "But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."

say what? "when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself." DECIEVED? 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
hope this helps

1 John 1:9 is to become a born again Christian. It is not a mantra of sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent ad infinitum. It is the same as Acts 2:38 to receive the Holy Spirit and sin no more.

1 John 1:9 is to become a born again Christian. It is not a mantra of sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent ad infinitum. Itis the same as Acts 2:38 to receive the Holy Spirit and sin no more.
you're already been born again, and "REPENTED, (Changed one's mind), and baptized. now are being made ... "PERFECT", and what did you asked? "Acts 2:38 to receive the Holy Spirit and sin no more." WHAT? it did not say that, Listen, Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."........... for the remission of sins, well C Lady what sins are the apostle Peter are speaking of? answer, PAST SINS. and here is the scripture to prove this OUT, Listen and Learn. Romans 3:24 "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" Romans 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"

did you get that? past sins, (SINS (BEFORE) COMING TO CHRIST). so what about the future sins in, in, in, Christ Jesus? answer, they are forgiven, Listen .... Thank God for the NEW COVENANT. Listen, Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:" Jeremiah 31:32 "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:" Jeremiah 31:33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people." Jeremiah 31:34 "And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

iniquity here is Just another word for manifested "Sins"...... and they are what? "Forgiven". listen again. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." the only thing that qualify for cleaning is something or ONE who was clean, and now became dirty. understand C Lady, if you're sinless/Clean why do you need to be cleansed. are you not, "as you say...... sinless?". anything that is already clean do not need to be cleansed. for one do not wash clean clothes, only dirty ones. so, again this is for the SAVED, or those who are sealed with the Spirit of PROMISE.

those who are in or under the Contract/Testament. this is how one's sins are treated...... "FORGIVNESS". for.... Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." WHY? Matthew 6:14 "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" NOW LISTEN TO THIS NEXT VERSE. Matthew 6:15 "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." was this not already put in place? Micah 6:8 "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

Mercy here is H2617 חֵסֵד checed (cheh'-sed) n-m.

sorry I did not address this part of your response, but I will.

If you have children, do you not “FORGIVE” them when that do something wrong? …. or just cast them into the fire? No. So as you said, “it is not a mantra of sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent, sin, repent ad infinitum.” are you sure? BASIC Christian Doctrine, Listen to our example. Matthew 18:21 "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?" Matthew 18:22 "Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

ad infinitum? As many as needed.

1 John 1:9 is not us "already been born again" as evidenced by SAYING you have no sin but its a lie in 1 John 1:8 and 1 John 2:4. Put 8 and 9 together and see for yourself. However, the only way you are going to "see" it and not think it is error is if you are filled with God's Spirit and born again yourself. 1 Cor. 2:9-16. It seems like you are, so open your eyes.

As far as the rest of your post, you're almost teaching the truth. I have been preaching "past sins" for years, but from 2 Peter 1:9, definitely not Romans 3. As far as using Romans 3, what God is overlooking are the sins of Israel who were looking forward to their Messiah, Jesus. Use 2 Peter 1:9 instead.

Now I must warn you. It seems you are still believing the doctrine of demons of Christ forgiving our past (correct), "present and future" sins. No! We are dead to sin Romans 6:5-7 so our old man (sin nature) is dead! We walk in the Spirit now Romans 8:9. 1 John 3:4 shows the type of sins that are past and cleansed," the sins from the Ten Commandments. This is why we are no longer under the Law. We don't need to see them written, when they are already part of the resurrected new nature!

So why does it seem like we are still sinning? Because though our "mortal sins unto death" are no longer part of us making us righteous, we still must mature in all of the fruit of the Spirit, sins not unto death 1 John 5:16-17. Read John 15:1-4. Notice it says "You are clean." That is from the mortal sins unto death. Now to go on to being perfect and holy. Rev. 22:11.

Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12.

sorry I did not address this part of your response, but I will.

Yes, we must forgive and forgive and forgive...

Two things to do before going to bed. Make sure our conscience is clear, and think if you are holding on to something you need to forgive.

John is writing to Christians ..... THE SAVE, not to Sinners. STOP and think. if God required a sinner to confess their sins in order to be saved, we all would be LOST. because some of us cannot even remember what we were doing was month, and some of us last week. and if we were sinning and did not confess it then we're doomed. but as the scripture's states, God is not unrighteous, that's why he took our place, he himself became sin for us. this is why he took on human flesh.....

First, I'm Glad to hear that you're Preaching, praise God. second, ERROR, you said, "I have been preaching "past sins" for years, but from 2 Peter 1:9, definitely not Romans 3. As far as using Romans 3, what God is overlooking are the sins of Israel" NO, and again we say NO, listen as to who sins are forgiven. 1 John 2:1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:" 1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." THERE IT IS, not only for the Jews sin, but the Whole World..... translation, Jews and Gentile sins.
Now I must warn you. It seems you are still believing the doctrine of demons of Christ forgiving our past (correct), "present and future" sins. No! well let's see what Romans says.... ok. remember this is to saved people. Romans 6:3 "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" Romans 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (SHOULD WALK?). Romans 6:5 "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:" Romans 6:6 "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (AGAIN, SHOULD NOT?). Romans 6:7 "For he that is dead is freed from sin." Romans 6:8 "Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:" Romans 6:9 "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him." Romans 6:10 "For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God." Romans 6:11 "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:12 "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." (STOP THE PRESS. IF YOU'RE ALREADY FREE FROM SIN, WHY ARE LETTING, OR LET NOT SIN RULE IN, IN, IN, YOUR MORTAL BODY...... ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE SIN FREE?). (understand Let is a conditional word with a choice, as here to sin, or not). Romans 6:13 "Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God." (WHY TELL SAVE FOLK THAT WHO IS FREE FROM SIN? are we getting this now). Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." WHAT! so there is a possibility sin could have dominion over you .... the saved .... while in these mortal bodied? What you say?..... (smile). well it isn't going to happen and here's why? because we have a "HELPER", to combat this sinful mortal body, let's see it. Galatians 5:14 "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Galatians 5:15 "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another." Galatians 5:16 "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (I KNOW THIS CANNOT APPLY TO THOSE WHO ARE ALREADYT PERFECT AND SINLESS, NO NOT THEM). Galatians 5:17 "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." (READ THAT AGAIB). Galatians 5:18 "But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law." Galatians 5:19 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness," Galatians 5:20 "Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies," Galatians 5:21 "Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith," Galatians 5:23 "Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Galatians 5:24 "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." Galatians 5:25 "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." Galatians 5:26 "Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

now, I know that any sinless and Perfect saved Christian has never did any "variance", contention, dispute, or argument .......(smile)? or emulations?....... or wrath, or get angry ... without the sun setting on that anger.... I know no Christian save or not do ... THAT, and especially ask for forgiveness, ........ NEVER? yea, right. we could go on....

well you have half of it right, but unto DEATH? did not your Baptism did that? How about unto Blood, mean when it HURT. Listen and Learn. Hebrews 12:3 "For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." Hebrews 12:4 "Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin." (READ THAT AGAIN). Hebrews 12:5 "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:" Hebrews 12:6 "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth." Hebrews 12:7 "If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?" Hebrews 12:8 "But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

understand Lady, God don't have any Babe, Bebe's Kids running around loose on earth. but I guess this chastisement of sons do not apply to you, (since you're already PERFECT, and have not committed any.... any ...any... Sin since being saved). so I commend you, but for the rest of US.... hold on to one's backside..... (just in case if I slip).... and ask not for forgivness. or as the Holy Ghost vis his apostle Peter states,1 Peter 4:8 "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins." but I guess that don't apply to those who are perfect and sinless...... (so why this verse keeps coming up in 101G[s memory to remind him of something, 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." .

from my understanding is this "RELIGION" is a "Practice" and Practice .... MAKES PERFECT, ...... Not instantly, but progressively.

I'm breaking down my response in sections. I'll do two right now.

1 John 1:6 is not a true Christian. There are many people in churches that are not. Matthew 7:21-23 shows this clearly. We are to work out our own salvation. It is naive to think that John and Paul's use of the words "we" and "I" are more important than the context. John is preaching to his whole congregation, those that are saved and mature, and those that aren't.
Again, naivety. The little children are the Christians who have been born again and empowered to not sin having been cleansed of all unrighteousness. But the next sentence is not directed at his congregation, but for the rest of the world who Jesus died for also.

And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

well let's see what Romans says.... ok. remember this is to saved people. Romans 6:3 "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" Romans 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (AGAIN, SHOULD NOT?). Romans 6:7 "For he that is dead is freed from sin." Romans 6:8 "Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:" Romans 6:9 "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him." Romans 6:10 "For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God." Brother, you and I are so close in our beliefs. You are asking all the right questions. Ask them of God and He will answer you.

Paul said we are free from sin. That is the fact that must be planted into fertile ground. Not rocky ground full of the love of the world, or full of weeds. Of the two types of sin - unto death or not unto death, there is a common denominator that MUST be present for our dog not to return to its own vomit - ABIDING IN JESUS.

1 John 3:24 (sins unto death) Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

John 15: (sins not unto death) As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
