So.. we see from unitarians saying all the power Jesus had.. anyone can do.

They don't directly say it, but if Jesus is mortal man, and his power was all given to him, not his own... then people can pretty much be gods.

So..you might ask them..forgive sin itself? They may say...Yea. Mortal man can do that! The disciples had that power.

Or walk on water? Yea.. Peter could that!

It seems you are proposing that Unitarians are putting forth some kind of false teaching.

The apostle Peter said that it was God doing the 'mighty works, and wonders and signs' through Jesus:
“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—
Jesus said: Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. [John 14:12]

Does scripture record the apostles raising people from the dead? Does scripture record the apostles casting out demons? Does scripture record the apostles healing people?
Didn't God also work through the prophets in the OT to perform mighty deeds, such as sending plagues, parting the Red Sea, the Israelites fighting and winning battles with far less of an army than their opponents, etc?
And your premise instead of just believing recorded scripture is if man can do these things which seemingly God can only do; they are making themselves gods........your accusations sound familiar to what the unbelieving Jews said to Jesus.

I, myself, do not consider the words of the prophets recorded in the OT to be lies and neither do I consider Jesus to be a liar.

So, bottom line - You have set up a complete fallacious argument.

The point is.. Jesus was doing things no one else did in the way He was doing it. Not that others didn't do similar feats.

The disciples couldn't give some one eternal life. They forgave people who directly offended them.

Jesus forgave sin itself. He could take away the stain of sin in a person..not just forgive a personal grievance.

So...if anyone could actually do that..they would be God. If Jesus is mortal.. and could do that.. then I should be able to...but I can't..why?

He is God..I am not.

This is the point.

How so?

WHY? Because God did not give you or me the authority on earth to forgive sins.
"the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” .... (Matt. 9:6; Mark 2:10
Jesus did not innately have this authority or power - He was given this authority.
Why should you be able to forgive sins?

Jesus' agency as an image of God, meant the authority He had is equal. Not like from God to mortal man. More like the mind giving delegation to the body.

So, Jesus was God in a body and God's mind told the body what to do? Is that what you are saying?

God didn't actually give Jesus authority on earth to forgive sins? And after Jesus resurrection God didn't actually give Jesus all authority in heaven and on earth? Is the scripture wrong or are you wrong?

No..I'm not saying that. I'm saying the authority Jesus had isn't like one being to another lesser. The agency Jesus had was equal.

The analogy of mind and body isn't a perfect illustration of the relationship between Father and Son, but it's to show Jesus isn't like a separate, mortal being. It's relationship within the one Triune being.
