Shema Israel and identifying Jesus as Jehovah/Yahweh

Read John 1:1, not the butchered JW version and that will set you straight.
Any can look up the Greek for self as easy as 1+1--The Word is given the same Greek word that satan gets at 2 Cor 4:4 when in the same paragraph that the true God is called a different Greek word-Why?= the difference of God to the true God and god to the others. This is fact of reality.
Why don't you explain to all of us the Greek translating rule why at 2 Cor 4:4 the same word given to the Word at John 1:1 is translated god at 2 Cor 4:4, and God at John 1:1-- Oh you cannot because there is no rule. Thus the word must be translated the same at both spots. Catholicism put God at John 1:1 to fit their false council teachings. 20 translations in history put a god at John 1:1 by Greek scholars.

Scripture does not see a conflict there

John 1:1 (LEB) — 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 20:28 (LEB) — 28 Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Titus 2:13 (LEB) — 13 looking forward to the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

2 Peter 1:1 (LEB) — 1 Simeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a faith equal in value to ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 1:8 (LEB) — 8 but concerning the Son, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of righteous is the scepter of your kingdom.

but you did not address
Then you explain to us all how the same word given to the Word at John 1:1 and to satan at 2 Cor 4:4 are translated different> Please explain the Greek to English translating rule that makes it a reality. Oh you can't because there is no rule-Fact-that same word to both is translated the same at both spots.=god small g, otherwise the Word would have gotten the same Greek word the true God got at both spots. You best relook-you are putting your eternal life into Catholicism translating errors. ALL who do will lose.

Been there, done that. Context. It is spelled the same way Jehovah is in many verses. Were you not ignorant of Greek, you would know that.

You have been informed of this multiple times but chose to remain ignorant

The Shema of Israel

Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV 1900) — 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

and with the name of Jehovah

Deuteronomy 6:4 (UASV) — 4 “Hear, O Israel! Jehovah our God is one Jehovah!

One lord that is YHWH echad

YHWH not Jehovah.

Jehovah didn’t even come about until the late 1500’s.

Moses wouldn’t have used that name.

Jesus certainly didn’t use that name.

YHWH = LORD

JESUS IS LORD.

I do not disagree with you. I used Jehovah for a certain poster who insists that is the name of God.

Lol

I quoted the verse as it even appears in your own translation

Gen 1:26 And God went on to say: "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth."

The "our" has the same image as does God

as does Christ

Colossians 1:15 (LEB) — 15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,
Colossians 1:16 (LEB) — 16 because all things in the heavens and on the earth were created by him, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers, all things were created through him and for him,

Who created all things

Gen 1:27 does not help your position at all
God does not have to do and be everything. He has sons. The oneness concept you preach is Greek philosophy.

twisting as usual on your refusal to believe bible truth.
sorry, you failed to show any such thing and scripture shows he had

Philippians 2:6–8 (NASB95) — 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Emptied himself in some manner

Emptied himself of being #2 in command in heaven=Michael the archangel.
