The JWs and Mormons and many other cults are strong in Africa too. Christian evangelism in Africa often is followed by JWs and Mormons to convert people away from Christ. There also are other cults with promises of prosperity or claiming to be the returning messiah.

Satan never rests in his attempt to usurp Christ. I once read about a cult that wanted to strike up a deal with many of the local Orthodox churches. They would "evangelize" the unchurched population and the local Church would receive the converts. What a diabolical scheme to stream cult-infected people into the local churches.
