PSA in the early Christian church

How can you disconnected Jesus dying on the Cross from your sin, though?

See, that's the problem with all those who fight against PSA—they no longer really have a valid reason for Jesus to be tortured and die under the curse of the Law.

It was your sin, that put Jesus there, not someone else's.

Not the Romans.

Not Pilot.

Not the Pharisees.

It was your sin!

By that logic, where does the Bible explicitly say molesting a child is wrong, oh, it does not. You have to actually listen to the spirit of something and make deductions and hear from the Holy Spirit. You are simply not arguing how truth is conveyed. Unitarians want "Jesus said, 'I am God.'" before they believe Jesus is God. Annihiliationists want "Hell is all sinners being tortured by God forever," before they believe in hell. It's a literal fallacy to demand something be stated to your satisfaction when it is already stated satisfactorily. This is the kind of logic kids use to get around rules. "Well, you said don't go in the backyard, but you didn't specifically say I couldn't go in the shed in the backyard, you never even mentioned the shed!" No, this is weasel logic, it's just not honest at all.

Yes, there are Bible verses "that sound like it."

Because that is what the Bible is saying.
Give him the grammar @Dizerner! I am witnessing to many Messianics using the OJB.

Many here don't study this way, Bob Utley and his hermeneutical approach to Scripture ignored.

I'll be right here to assist!

Love This, a Poll no Less. PSA (n)

PSA advocates do not understand Gods Tri-Unity.

It’s as simple as that
You have been reported, let's see the outcome of this. Your theory is being challenged and you don't appreciate it.

That's why you are roaming here and there since you are the ultimate authority on Scriptures.

Actually on the forums I was the first one to oppose the theory. I can argue against it with anyone that’s just a fact. I’m very comfortable arguing with anyone with or without a theology degree, any pastor too. Many have read my paper listed in this forum and have encouraged me to continue my research , even those holding to PSA have said I have some valid arguments regarding the Trinity.

I never heard of psa till today. I may not understand all Jesus did to save me but I'm sure glad He did. To be honest Civic's understanding of psa sounds right to me. Jesus went thru enough, enough from His arrest to the cross. Add that to being executed in the most barbaric way known, and the you want to tell after all that God has to pour out His wrath on Him. That's over kill.

Right on. The empty tomb is the best part. Without that there would be no salvation.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever done a deep study on Isaiah 53 @Dean?

And welcome to the forum.

Lol, you would think hell is overkill for sin, wouldn't you.

Maybe you just don't understand how evil your sin is.

Or how holy your God is.

Ever consider that?

You should!
Where is hell presented in the gospel message in Acts where people were saved ?

hmmmmmmmmmm
