Or is this an individual human being full of the Holy Ghost?

This is both the Son and a human being, being full of the Spirit (having emptied Himself to become a human).
Col 2:9 says he has a body.

You disagree?
I may be wrong, but I do not believe that He still has a physical body in Heaven. He had a physical body while on Earth, but when He ascended back into Heaven He went back to being Spirit only. And His Spirit is omnipresent.

What Do His Names Mean?

God told Joseph and Mary to name Mary’s son Jesus (Matt 1:21; Luke 1:31). Jesus is the same name as Joshua, Moses’ successor (Acts 7:45; Heb 4:8). The name Joshua, or Jesus, means Jehovah is salvation. The LORD God Jehovah became the Deliverer and Saviour of His people in the Godman Jesus, who would die for them.

Jesus is also called Christ in the New Testament, because He was God’s anointed Messiah for Israel. Christ = Messiah (John 1:41; 4:25). God promised a Messiah to deliver and save His people from the very beginning (Gen 3:15; 22:15-18; 49:10). He gave a timeline with dated events for Messiah to save His people (Da 9:24-27).

Jesus is called Lord, because He rules the universe under God. David knew that God Jehovah, the LORD, would send His Son as David’s son and yet David’s Lord (Ps 110:1; Matt 22:41-45). Jesus is Lord of all (Acts 10:36; Rev 17:14). He rules over all angels and men, both good and bad (Eph 1:20-22; Heb 2:8; I Pet 3:22).

Jesus of Nazareth means He was from a town in Galilee called Nazareth, which distinguished Him from any other Joshua. Jesus was called a Nazarene, one raised in Nazareth (Mat 2:23). Paul was called a ringleader of the Nazarenes (Acts 24:5), which has nothing at all to do with the Nazarite vow or the modern denomination.

Jesus is called the Son of God, for God was His Father by conception in a virgin (Luke 1:35) and by His resurrection (Rom 1:4). He is called the Word of God, for God the Word took on human flesh to become God’s Son (John 1:1,14; Rev 19:11-16). He was called Immanuel, because He was God with us (Is 7:14; Matt 1:23).

How important is the name Jesus? It reveals profound truth, because He would save His people from their sins (Matt 1:21). God gave Him this special name – Jehovah is salvation – to reflect His death and universal reign. You will bow before Him and confess that He is Lord (Phil 2:9-11), so you ought to do so today.

How powerful is the name Jesus? The devils tremble at it, for they know He will cast them and wicked men into hell (Luk 4:34; Acts 19:15; Jas 2:19). The apostles performed great miracles in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17-18; Acts 3:1-11). God loves the name of His Son and will answer any prayer in His name (Jn 16:23-27).

Jesus has dozens of other descriptive names that describe character traits or events.

My apologies for intruding on this thread-here is something you may want to consider @Doug Brents

The New Testament provides several references that describe the nature of Jesus' current body in heaven, indicating that He possesses a glorified, resurrected body. This body is different from the mortal body He had during His earthly ministry, but it is still a physical body, as demonstrated after His resurrection. Here are some key points and scriptures related to the nature of Jesus' body in heaven:

1. Resurrected and Glorified Body

  • Luke 24:39: "See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."
    • After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples and showed them His hands and feet, indicating that He had a tangible, physical body.
  • Philippians 3:20-21: "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself."
    • Paul writes that Jesus has a glorious body and that believers will one day have their bodies transformed to be like His.

2. Ascension and Present State

  • Acts 1:9-11: "And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.'"
    • Jesus ascended into heaven in His resurrected body, and it is in this form that He currently exists in heaven.

3. Intercession and Priesthood

  • Hebrews 7:24-25: "But he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them."
    • Jesus, in His glorified, eternal body, continues His role as high priest, interceding for believers.

4. Physical Characteristics Maintained

  • John 20:27: "Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.'"
    • Even after His resurrection, Jesus retained the marks of His crucifixion, which were used to prove His identity and the continuity of His physical body.

5. Glory and Majesty

  • Revelation 1:12-16: "Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength."
    • In John's vision in Revelation, Jesus is depicted in a glorified and majestic form, indicating His divine authority and power.

Summary

Jesus now resides in heaven with a glorified, resurrected body. This body retains physical characteristics from His earthly life, such as the marks of crucifixion, but it is also a transformed, eternal body that reflects His divine nature and glory. This glorified state allows Him to continue His ministry of intercession and priesthood for believers.

Shalom.

Mark 16:9-20 is too unreliable of a text to base any doctrine on.
If any chapter of the English translations that are considered to be of the best English translations can be questioned as not authentic.

Then the atheist arguments about the Bible being unreliable based on them being a copy of a copy of a copy has merit.

Once believers start criticizing books chapters and verses then the barn gates are open and the pigs are left to run wild.

We should be defending the Bible not taking the side of skeptics, atheists and giving them ammunition to destroy the credibility of the Holy Bible.

I challenge any of you that dont believe Mark 16:16 came straight out of the mouth of Jesus to publish another English translation with those verses omitted.

Would you be willing to go that far?

Jesus is Jehovah...................

ETYMOLOGY

Jesus is the English form of the Greek name “Jeshua,” which is the Greek form of the Hebrew name “Jehoshua.” The Hebrew-to-English name of the leader of Israel after Moses’ death was Joshua. However, the fuller name given to him by Moses was actually Jehoshua (Num 13:16). The Hebrew-to-Greek-to-English name of this man is Jesus (Acts 7:45; Hebrews 4:8). Mary’s Son was named Joshua or Jehoshua in Hebrew. The specific name Jesus and its pronunciation are distinctly English.

INTRODUCTION

Jesus is a man, and this we must always remember; even when we study His Deity. The incarnation was to make Jesus a man; He died for human sinners (Heb 2:14-18). He was conceived in a woman, had a birth date, grew in wisdom and stature, died, was resurrected, and disappeared bodily into heaven; where He sits at God’s right hand. It is a mystery, yet it is revealed. Therefore, we should know and teach it (Ist Tim 3:16).

IMPORTANCE

Every Christian should be certain Jesus is truly Jehovah God and able to defend it modestly. It is one of the principal points of our faith that is clearly taught and emphasized in Scripture. It is one of the chief targets of Satan and his cults – they cannot stand Jesus Christ as Lord. The Arians first stated opposition to it, and the Russellites (Jehovah’s Witnesses) do so today. The Founder of our religion is not just a nice man, a good man, a good example, or a prophet. It is a fact that most every cult attempts to reduce Jesus Christ in some way from being God.

METHOD

We contend for the truth only from the Word of God – inspired Scriptures of the King James. You must first agree or establish the King James Version as God’s Word in English. We avoid the foolish and unlearned questions of other translations, Greek, or Hebrew. If you grant their false premise, then you must contend without an absolute authority.

The New World Translation and N.A.S.V. have the perversion of a “begotten god.” There is only one God. This is a foundational point of doctrine without room for discussion. The foundation of Biblical religion is that of one LORD God to love (Deut 6:4; 4:35). And this one God does not share His worship or give away glory (Ex 34:14; Is 42:8). The one true God could find no other gods (Isaiah 43:10-11; 44:6,8; 45:6,22; 46:9). The foundation has not changed in the New Testament (I Cor 8:4-6; Ep 4:6; I Ti 2:5). Therefore, any verse referring to God refers to Jehovah, for He is the only God. There is no “begotten god,” “lesser god,” “a god,” or any other such wicked illusion. We stand on the Trinity – though not a Scriptural word – the fact of three in one is obvious. And this plurality continues even through the Old Testament (Gen 11:7; Isaiah 6:8). And we see this plurality in the New Testament (Mat 3:13-17; 28:19-20; II Cor 13:14). Therefore we are thankful for I John 5:7, which defines this three-in-one God for us. We do not debate the deity of Christ with those rejecting or misunderstanding His Sonship. How can you discuss the full deity of Jesus Christ allowing for a generated deity? Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh, and the Word of God is Jehovah God. It is the denial of the Scriptural Son and Father that is antichrist and religion from Satan. God has given a record of His Son we must believe (I John 2:22-23; 4:2-3; 5:9-10). Those who reject this doctrine are to be avoided (II John 9-11; II Thess 3:1-2).

PROOF

Isaiah 7:14 cp Matthew 1:23 The son born to Mary was by angelic witness – God with us. Isaiah 9:6 His names among others include The Mighty God and The Everlasting Father.

I John 5:7 cp I John 1:1 Many argue ignorantly this verse is spurious, but we will only contend from the KJV. The King James Version stands or falls with I John 5:7, for God blessed both. The authenticity of this text has been confirmed by early church writings. Do not fear or apologize for this text. Do not use the KJV but avoid I John 5:7. If you encounter a person too stubborn or ignorant to accept it, let them alone. There are three in heaven – Persons; there is only one in heaven – Nature or Godhead. The Word is one with the Father and Holy Ghost in the single Divine Nature of God.

The Word became flesh in the complex Person of Jesus Christ (I John 1:1; John 1:14). John 1:1,14,18; I Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 1:8 (Cited from Psalm 45:6-7). God is addressing the Son of God, or Jesus. He calls Jesus “God.” Colossians 2:9; John 14:9; John 8:58; The Jews understood exactly – Jesus was claiming to be Jehovah.

It is also found with slightly different wording in John 8:24; 13:19; and 18:5. Also, read:
  1. Philippians 2:11 cp Isaiah 45:22-23
  2. Revelation 1:8,17-18
  3. Titus 1:3
  4. John 20:24-29
  5. John 5:18 cp Isaiah 9:6
  6. Titus 2:13 cp John 1:18

  8. Acts 20:28
  9. Hebrews 1:6 cp Neh 9:6 cp Ex 34:14
  10. Genesis 1:1 cp John 1:3 cp Eph 3:9 cp Heb 1:2 cp Col 1:16-17

My Bible of Mark's gospel ends at Mark 16:8.

Jesus still in a PHYSICAL body in heaven.
Anything physical is material meaning from the elements of this material universe.

Therefore Johann you have a PHYSICAL God living among spiritual beings.

1Corinthians 15:42-44,
- So also is the ressurection of the dead it is sown a physical(perishable) body it is raised in incorruption(imperishable, spiritual)

- it is sown in dishonor it is raised in glory it is sown in weakness it is raised in power

- it is sown a natural(physical) body, it is raised a SPIRITUAL BODY There is a natural body and a spiritual body

Shalom.
Thank you Johann. I do not think that these passages paint the picture that you perceive, but you may be correct. Yes, Jesus was still in a physical body after His resurrection, but I believe that His body in Heaven is spirit, not physical. Paul says that when we are glorified, our physical body will be like a seed for the new body, completely unlike the old body, in which we are resurrected in Heaven (1 Cor 15:35 through the end of the chapter). This may be a physical body, but I believe it will be a spiritual body like the spiritual body of the angels and God. I think this is the spiritual body in which Jesus is represented in Revelation. It may be that the New Heavens and New Earth at the end of Revelation is a new physical universe, but that is not clear in Scripture.

When Jesus ascended..... the Apostles saw Him do it, with their eyes.

So, you can't See a spirit, but you can see the body of Jesus.
And they Did. and so will all the born again SEE HIM in the Clouds in the Rapture..... and the unbelievers are going to SEE HIM down here, when He comes Back in His Body, to do this..

Angels are spiritual beings, but they can manifest in physical forms, fire, storms, as men, etc., and can be seen. I am not discounting the physical resurrection of Jesus in any way, but I don't believe His body went into Heaven when He ascended.

1 John 3:2 says that the born again will see Him, and "be like Him".

The Born again get a "new Body"... and its not spiritual, it's literal, and it replaces the "body that is dead because of Sin".

So, if we get a "new body", and its to be "just like (Jesus)" = then Jesus has a physical body.. "that sat down on the right hand of God'.

Also, You can't see a spirit, and the Apostles saw Jesus leave the earth.

If you know the story of Elijah, then you read that He went to Glory, and in His Body.

I know that you have your "opinion" , as you've stated it.

However, I dont see you posting even one NT verse that says that Jesus took off His body, to back up your opinion.
Did i miss the verse, or verses?

Feel free to post a few, that back up your opinion.

1 John 3:2 says that the born again will see Him, and "be like Him".

The Born again get a "new Body"... and its not spiritual, it's literal, and it replaces the "body that is dead because of Sin".
Let's look at the whole verse. "Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is." We do not yet know what we will be, but we will be like Him, not He like us. God is Spirit (John 4:24), and if we are like Him, then we also will be spirit.
So, if we get a "new body", and its to be "just like (Jesus)" = then Jesus has a physical body.. "that sat down on the right hand of God'.
You are inserting "physical" into the passage. You are assuming that all "bodies" must be physical. But the angels have a body, and they are spiritual beings, not physical, although they can manifest as physical in many forms if they choose to.
Also, You can't see a spirit, and the Apostles saw Jesus leave the earth.
They saw Him go up into the clouds, they did not see Him go into Heaven. And you can see spirits. Angels appeared to many people in the OT, the fourth man in the fire was an angel, the fires that consumed some of Job's children was an angel, the wind that killed others was an angel, all of the angels, Jesus, the Father, etc. in Revelation were spirits and John saw them.
If you know the story of Elijah, then you read that He went to Glory, and in His Body.
Do you know that his body went to Heaven? Or do you just assume so? His body was never found or buried, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't burned up in the fire of the chariot leaving only his soul to enter Heaven. No, I don't know for sure either, but there is plenty of evidence elsewhere in Scripture that makes me believe that the bodies we have in Heaven will be spiritual bodies, not physical.

You are correct, I did not post many passages on this in previous comments. I have above. I made many references to Scriptures in those comments, but I don't guess they were clear enough for you to know which ones I was thinking of. But I have given references here, so I hope this clarifies what I believe.
