Mark 16:16~"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

When we are at work, and our boss gives us a command, do we fulfill his command or just parrot his command back to him?

The command in Matthew is to baptize in the name of the son. Do you know what that name that you are commanded to baptize in is?
Did you read the verse?

Matthew 28:19 (ESV) — 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Did you read the verse?

Matthew 28:19 (ESV) — 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Jesus commanded his disciples to baptized in the name of the son. The name of the son is Jesus. Did you know that?

The name of the father is Jesus. The name of the son is Jesus… Duh. The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus. That’s why everybody in the New Testament Church was always and only baptized in the name of Jesus. They figured that out. Why can’t we?

But is highly unlikely that you have been baptized in the name of the son… Jesus.
I was baptized by the authority of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

immersed in a Church of Christ.

(so called immersion is one of the valid ways to baptize along with sprinkling and pouring)

If that is not good enough for your that is your problem

Not quite what Jesus stated in Mat 28:19

Are you a oneness pentecostal or person?

You state they are niot saved until water baptism
Because that is what Scripture says. Baptism is an act of faith that God says brings about salvation. The water does not save, but if you do not pass through the water you are not saved.
Irrelevant to the issue regarding baptism

Faith preceeds any act it leads to
Not according to Scripture. Without action faith is dead (James 2:26). Dead faith cannot save. Faith (alive and active) must precede the reception of salvation (Eph 2:8).
Wrong faith pre-exist its actions
Again, not according to Scripture.
No I did not say that
Faith trust is what is required
You have said it many times, but I'll forgive you the lie.
Faith is trust and the actions that it engenders. Without the actions then faith does not really exist. If you don't get in the wheelbarrow, then you don't really trust the man pushing it across the tightrope. Jesus is pushing the wheelbarrow, salvation is on the other side of the tightrope, but if you don't get in the wheelbarrow, then you remain on the lost side of the chasm. The wheelbarrow is repentance, confession of Jesus as Lord, and baptism. THAT is trust. THAT is what is required according to Scripture.

Um many verses say faith saves and teach forgiveness of sin and salvation upon faith
Not according to Scripture. Without action faith is dead (James 2:26). Dead faith cannot save. Faith (alive and active) must precede the reception of salvation (Eph 2:8).
Sorry faith pre-exists any act it leads to

Faith is alive before it acts or the act does not come about

Again, not according to Scripture.

You have said it many times, but I'll forgive you the lie.

I don't need your forgiveness and if you talk about lies you will be reported

it is rather obvious faith which will cause you to get into the wheelbarrow must pre-exist getting into the wheelbarrow

Getting in the wheelbarrow does not make your faith alive.

it was living or you would never get in the wheelbarrow

Um many verses say faith saves and teach forgiveness of sin and salvation upon faith

Sorry faith pre-exists any act it leads to

Show me your faith without works? It cannot be done. I will show you my faith with my works. Faith is made complete through works. Without works faith is incomplete, and thus dead. Dead faith cannot save. Living faith must precede salvation.

Again, that is not what Scripture says (James 2:14-26).

Totally missing the point

that speaks of a demonstration of faith but it is not a prooftext for the non-existence of faith

Abrahams faith was alive, not dead before the demonstration of it.

Further nowhere does scripture state the only way faith can be shown to be living is by water baptism.

Simon was water baptism and apparently unsaved

Again, that is not what Scripture says (James 2:14-26).
Sorry James speaks of a said faith not true faith

True faith drives one to act, but it precedes the act

Show me your faith without works? It cannot be done. I will show you my faith with my works. Faith is made complete through works. Without works faith is incomplete, and thus dead. Dead faith cannot save. Living faith must precede salvation.

Again, that is not what Scripture says (James 2:14-26).
Again you are talking about a demonstration not existence

Can you claim Abraham had a dead faith which was then made alive by what he did

further nowhere is it stated water baptism proves one has a living faith

you are reading that into the text
