Israel National served three purposes, which all three have been fulfilled since the Death of Christ,

First, they were chosen to bring forth the Messiah; secondly, they were a figure or a type of the worldwide church which was to come; and thirdly, their obedience and disobedience was to serve as an example to the church today.

Now when we switch to the New Testament, we plainly see that God no longer dwells upon the subject of the physical seed but upon the spiritual seed. The physical seed was important up to the point of the cross. According to Romans 11, God is not done with Israel. Although Israel has been set aside during the Church age, this setting aside is not permanent, and God has not permanently rejected the Jewish people or rescinded His promises to them.

In Romans chapter 9, the concept of the remnant was introduced as the elect minority of Jewish people who trust God as their father Abraham did.

That was the Abrahamic covenant. The Grafted in Gentiles carried the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. That was the blessing

I do think there should be distinction made between Jew and Israel. In many ways they are the same thing but there are times when they're not.

Friend you been deceived, national israel has been shelved, they like any other nation now. jews now are being saved in the times of the Gentiles as per any other ethnicity that belongs to Christ and the election of Grace.
