Is Jesus the Christ a human Person?

Because you don't read ancient rabbinical writings and not interested in history-as @Matthias rightly said-

"The very problem that I, and others who are historically grounded, constantly run into. Most people don’t know, and don’t want to know, how we got here. They’re satisfied in their ignorance."

But if it is not your cup of tea I don't force you or coerce you-each to his own.

I doubt that the present Religious experts are ever sure where "Here" is.

Neither am I, but the simple FACT of the matter is that the "Chosen People", who WERE GIVEN GOD'S WORD, blew it COMPLETELY.

So - why would the "Jewish religious experts/theologians" be taken seriously in anything they say???

Yeah, I wouldn't trust them with any spiritual understanding or interpretation.

I think we could learn something about the Hebrew language from them, however,

If you mean Messianic Jews—Jews who accept Jesus as the Messiah—then they have received the Holy Spirit.

You can learn two things from uninspired people—mistakes you make without Spirit, and natural things like custom and grammar.
Give a example re mistakes and custom and grammar.

Give a example re mistakes and custom and grammar.

Okay I will try.

First mistakes—making Isaiah 53 about Hezekiah is clearly a terrible mistake (I know not all did this, but some did.)

Custom—the afikomen could very well represent Christ ( https://www.chosenpeople.com/what-is-the-afikomen/ ).

Grammar—I recently used an example showing many Jews acknowledge adonai could have at times been meant to be adoni.

“I asked that question of so many of my friends recently, and almost all, save for only one, gave me the wrong answer. Some even became indignant for my even asking the question. Why they became indignant, I have no clue. Nevertheless it is an important question about the person of Jesus the Christ.

1. Is Jesus the Christ a human person?
2. Is Jesus the Christ a Divine person?
3. Is He both?
4. Is He neither?

What answer do you have for each of those four simple questions? … “

(Bob Stanley, “Is Jesus the Christ a Human Person? Think before you answer that question.”)

To begin with, I am definitely not convinced with Mr. Stanley's diagram definition that our bodies are not part of our human nature. Our bodies is a "what", not a "who". Nobody addresses his body as a "who".

Houston, we have a massive problem with basic definitions to begin with. Back to the drawing board for Mr. Stanley.

Yes, hence discernment is needed-also many hold Is 53 is not the suffering Servant Yeshua-but YisraEl. I can show you MANY examples from the Sages-not Rashi-that the rabbis believed in Messiah-there are two, Messiah ben David and Messiah ben Joseph.

Does it mean I throw out the baby with the bathtub?

See? We can learn from customs, cultures and folklore since we have discernment to discern error from truth-I love the Jewish wedding.

Grammar—I recently used an example showing many Jews acknowledge adonai could have at times been meant to be adoni.
Glad to see you take note of this-I assume you have a Hebrew Bible?
Also-when in dialogue with a Jewish person we don't say Jesus-right?

Do you have a problem with Stanley saying that orthodoxy teaches that Jesus is not a human person?

Not true. Anyone that has extensively debated the subject will say the same thing. We know what you're doing. We've had it done to us throughout our lives.

Then keep it. It’s a distortion of what orthodoxy teaches.

None of you, so far, impress me as being serious apologists for orthodoxy.

I could definitely see Rabbinical study as a way to try to reach the Orthodox Jews with the message of Christ.

The Gospel is the answer. The purity of the Gospel.

Rabbinical teaches are extraordinarily inconsistent across sects of Judaism.

My personal belief is that "Jews" must first realize they are not the chosen seed of Abraham. Christ was. The singular SEED (Jesus Christ). Messiah is the only heir.
