I agree with this and am as passionate as you are. One thing I like about Pastor Jim is they left the United Methodist denomination over practicing homosexual bishops. I've decided to call Jim and put those two church buildings in my will as I think they have to buy them from the UMC.

From when I lived in Los Angeles I had two friends in the Word of Faith Movement, both of which are still very much in it and the first one got me interested in going back to church and trying out a Spirit-filled Bible study on Friday nights. I wasn't born again yet, but soon would be. We were fans then of Kenneth Hagin. That was when WOF was centered on healing by faith first, and prosperity second. But I do remember us at lunch hour (we met at work in Beverly Hills, CA in 1976) and going to this car lot and trying out my faith for the pink Cadillac they had for sale. No luck!

Then as far as a church I remembered Pat Boone's mom and dad in Tennessee telling me of the church that Pat and his family went to so my friend and I went to Jack Hayford's church for years. This was a Four Square Gospel church, not a WOF church. That is where I was born again and Spirit filled in a mighty way and could hear God's voice from then on and every so often I would receive another gift, then another. Then as I think I told you I was living in Arizona and drove through the desert and He told me He was giving me the office of Teacher. I was driving back to California to attend the annual Spirit-filled Living Conference and God put in my heart that Jack be the pastor to anoint me. And He did as God has granted every prayer He put in my heart from 1977 on (100%). I learned not to pray for myself for anything that God didn't first tell me what to pray, John 15:7. That was the opposite of WOF. God was in control of my prayer life. WOF kinda uses God as their servant. Especially when they started teaching "Seed Faith" that turned out to be extortion! We aren't even suppose to have lunch with one of those preachers. So you don't have to worry about me watching Jessie Duplantis or Joel Olsteen! Kenneth Copeland teaches a lot of truth, but I turn him off the TV if he changes the subject to prosperity. I want the golden wisdom that I can take with me. They aren't focused on heaven, but earthly, carnal wealth in the here and now. I don't listen to any others on TV.

My friend left Jack's church and went full-on WOF. I didn't. God had me on the path of true faith as Him being my Master, not self-centered faith that they WOF has devolved into. She doesn't accept my teachings I received from God, not a denomination. I have found pastors of like doctrine and they also have been told by God to not teach anything He hasn't taught them. They (father and son) are Calvary Outreach Church in Conroe, TX. They have a lot of booklets you can order free of charge. It is true. We all know and teach the same interpretation of Scripture. After all their is one Teacher so one and only one interpretation.

The other girlfriend is still in WOF but has accepted my teachings and is focused on the right things.

I don't "follow" him. I have just caught some good teachings, but I don't record him. I record Sid Roth It's Supernatural. I've heard some teachers he's had on that have discovered truths and written a book about that God taught me long ago. There is a lot of truths there.

What do you think I teach that is wrong? I've never seen a prosperity teacher on Sid Roth. Those he has had on have experienced the same things supernaturally that I have.

I teach on the power of Jesus to free us from sin, not give us riches on earth.

Do you believe you are a sinner? Has Jesus cleansed you from all unrighteousness as 1 John 1:9 says?

Is your nature a sin nature or a clean nature? Do you have to use 1 John 1:9 over and over again?

Okay. I don't watch him very often unless someone sends me a sermon of his. Right now I want to know what @dwight92070 has against me. What I teach is about the power of Jesus to cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. I've witnessed that in my own life. I would tune him out too .
Ghost whisperers , people communing with dead family memebers
spirits of divination , though they try and call them the HOLY SPIRIT .
The man is simply an entertainer who knows about enough bible to make him dangerous .

You are just wrong, friend. You are wrong.

A sincere heart does count for something, and you need to look at your own sin first before you run around trying to find everyone else's.

People can be actually ignorant or mean well, and God does have mercy on that—you better hope he does.
