How and Why I joined here, and my sad Church story.

'Different strokes for different folks', coined by boxer Muhammed Ali in the 1960s. He was great at doing the "Ali shuffle"

As for me, I don't go to church to see people dance. I do love to worship God in songs of praise.

Modern Pentecostals believe that they can be entered by the holy spirit, which manifests itself by spontaneous dancing, collapsing and speaking in tongues. Dancing in the spirit refers to spontaneous dancing that occurs during a Pentecostal worship service.

I believe the Pentecostalism and the prosperity gospel are distortions of Christianity. The have no biblical merit or value.

I don't care if I get a lot of comments on this. Back when I was on the Christian Chat site, people wrote me lots of comments on my posts. It was too many for me to read and think about. I'm just glad that after all the work I had to put into writing this, that I finally got it posted. Now I can post it other places, if needed.
What other forums were you on. I'd like to check them out, thanks.

There are many war zones out there to choose from. I’ve been on 4 over the past 25 years. This was formed so the members/ posters had more freedoms and less restrictions and less “ lording “ moderators over the members. Lots of bullying / intimidation on other forums where there is a ganging up on those with other views.

If you look at our guideline section you will see what sets us apart.
