Irresistible Grace

Lazarus was dead.
Right and so is man by nature dead in sin and dead to God.

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Rom 5:15

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

I provided many examples of those in the bible whom you refer to as"dead" that could respond, reason, make decisions etc....
There is no problem. Man is still dead to God by nature. Even if they do those things you are saying. The people who were burying their dead no doubt could do those very things, yet Jesus said this about them Matt 8:22

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Right and so is man by nature dead in sin and dead to God.

They were not dead like Lazarus was dead.

And prevenient grace enlightens them while they are still in sin, to libertarianly choose to let Jesus take them out.

By prevenient and effectual grace.

They were not dead like Lazarus was dead.
They were, just spiritually but he physically. Its a comparative analogy, as Jesus finds His elect dead in sin, He miraculously gives them Life Jn 5:25

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

They all hear but some libertarianly diligently hear:

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when ...

*the dead shall hear* the voice of the Son of God: and

*they that hear shall live.*

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt *diligently hearken* to the voice of the LORD thy God, ...

and wilt do that which is right in his sight,

James 1:22 But be ye *doers* of the word, and *not hearers only*, deceiving your own selves.

And some resist. Literally dead people don't resist. ...

Acts 7:51 Ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Post 1170 liar.
You still can't prove your falsehoods through any quote so you resort to false ad hominems instead. That's typical of calvinists.

What I did say is that your words verified the fact that repentance is synergistic by you taking issue with "God repenting for you", which verifies that is man's part in the synergistic act of repentance. I see that you still have not offered any argument against that, nor can you.

Where is regeneration without any belief yet explicitly mentioned in the verse you quoted?
Jesus just showed you regeneration from the dead to live Jn 5:25

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. Faith comes with spiritual life. In other words when the spiritually dead hear His voice, they shall live by Faith. Jn 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Faith cometh by hearing, hearing comes by the voice of Christ

The verse says only "they that hear shall live", not those who are told, as you continue to misinterpret.

Keep those calvinism-slaying verses coming!
