How we got our Bible

Big fan of Tyndale!
several years ago i had a paper back book titled the forbidden book it went into great detail. in how the Bible came to print . many Churches does not stress to get it for your self.. read your Bible bring your Bible to Church. follow the pastor.
admittedly when i bring the morning message . i stair step scriptures .that falls in line with the subject of the message. since i have studied the scriptures out and wrote which ones i want.. i tend get in a hurry leave the congregation wondering where. bad habit i try take my time allow them to follow .

having said all that there was a time they did not want you to have a bible. it was sort of like trust me. last Sunday the Lord allowed me to preach on trails .. ( that is a every day occurrence) men like Tyndale gave his life to print the Bible..

i heard a story once of a pow in a camp had a bible. the guards took it away. placed in the outhouse and tore pages out to use for toilet paper..

the pow volunteered for latrine duty. just so he could recover some of the pages to read. today in each household we have at least 3 bibles in the Home. me i have about 5 or 6 3 study Bibles and a Thompson chain reference couple reading reference

we soon forget what we have

I use both my physical Bible and my electronic ones. There is something I like about a physical book vs electronic and the same with a Bible
