The Calvinistic views I hear spouted today are sickening. It is like the most metastatic cancer upon the hearts & minds of ppl and they will die for all eternity if they continue to hold fervently to them.
To reject & quench God's Spirit in his conviction of these errors is a horror to read.
I'm watching one now on another forum who denies the cross & the power of the gospel unto salvation and she is a staff member there !
@civic has correctly outlined the truth by God's word and how ppl can deny the order of God's salvation plan astounds me .
* "conclusion: as we read in these SALVIFIC passages there is a consistent order.
1- hearing the word, the gospel
2- believing the gospel
3- receiving the gospel
4- calling upon the Lord
5- confessing Jesus is Lord
6- resulting in the new birth, born of God, salvation, eternal life
NOT God made me or BROUGHT me to believe bc he gave me faith by the Spirit.....not happening until the afore mentioned hearing, believing, repentance, confession, receiving are accomplished

Man's religion will deny that Faith is the result of the Power and Grace of God and will heedlessly attribute it to the natural will of man, not understanding nor accepting the fact that by nature men are in the power of unbelief Rom 11:32

All men naturally God has made them prisoners of unbelief.

more false teachings regarding faith. faith always precedes life.
lazarus was a believer not an unbeliever whom Jesus raised from the dead. so much for your dead man theory. Lazarus disproves your fale teaching on dead in sin and the inability to believe. Belief is always the requirement for one to be saved. Once one believes they are given life, regeneration, new heart, new birth, born again, born of the spirit etc.........

They can lock up the body but not your mind. Look at the Hanoi Hilton. Those prisoners when forced to make propaganda videos but they sent morse code messages with their eyes saying they were being tortured. So they were free to communicate.

Servant of sin is an unbeliever. Theres no obedience in such a condition
