Easily dispelling unitarianism

a. Isaiah 41:4 "Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he."

This appears to be the control verse for you. The phrase “and with” isn’t referring to God. The phrase is referring to the generations of man.

b. Isaiah 44:6 "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."

The phrase here, ”and” - not “and with” - is referring to God. The Father is the first and the last, and besides the Father there is no God.

well let's see, Revelation 1:17 "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:" Revelation 1:18 "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

now is this for sure the "Lord" Jesus? let's see, Revelation 2:8 "And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;" (smile). the "Lord" Jesus is the .... "LAST", as well as the First.

now let's put the Icing on the cake. BACK TO ISAIAH. see, 101G left out one verse and now he will post it. Isaiah 48:12 "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last." yes, the same one person, and you do know what "ALSO" means..... yes? the same one GOD, and the Lord Jesus is that "ONE" God who is the same "ONE" person in the ECHAD of God...... (smile)...... pure Gold.

101G.

The phrase “the first and the last” is certainly applied to Jesus. He is in a different category than the category which his Father is in. Jesus is in the category of man. He is the perfect man. He completes man.

Maybe try the trinitarians.

Paul expresses the faith of the earliest Christians perfectly in 1 Corinthians 8:6.

For us there is but one God, the Father. That’s pure Jewish monotheism.

Then Paul proceeds to speak about someone else. Paul doesn’t call this person the one God. The one God has already been defined.

And [for us there is but] one lord. That’s an expression of the messianic faith. Paul is speaking now about the lord Messiah, Jesus.

The one God has given the lord Messiah himself the ability, power, and authority do what the one God himself, the Father, does.

just like ERRORS, personal opinions do not move 101G. he can careless about personal opinions.

now, did the Brown-Driver-Briggs definition clear up the Matter of "LAST" in Isaiah 41:4 for you?

if not stay in IGNORANCE. Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

this is where 101G get his footer to his posts. "Where there is Knowledge, stay not Ignorant."

see ya.

Thanks for sharing your personal opinion of me with me. I would rather know with certainty what a person thinks about me than speculate about it.

I‘ve carefully considered your arguments and haven’t found them persuasive. I don’t think you would want me to believe something which I’m not persuaded is correct.

”Where there is Knowledge, stay not Ignorant.” - That’s something good that I can takeaway from our conversation.
