Do you know the real Jesus?

Sorry you just ignored this

"and am set down with my Father in his throne."
LOL, you been caught in an impasse because of your belief. and no 101G answered your question, again, and again, but you cannot answer the one question 101G asked.... LOL, (smile). you better go back and check.

now you cannot answer who sits on the throne in Revelation chapter 4 and 5 it's ok, because it destroys your belief. the bible is clear as day, "ONE" sits on the throne and you cannot answer. but the bible answers it clearly and you have no clue as to who sits on the throne in heaven.

well it not hard to know and understand who sits on the throne..... the answer is the Lord Jesus. for he was given power because he made himself empty.... per Phil. 2:7. but now the dilemma for you is How is the Lord Jesus sitting on the throne and standing before the throne. the same way he is on earth in flesh and yet at the same time in heaven, Spirit. see John 3:13. .... (smile)

now to answer the Revelation 3:21 again, .... since you cannot believe 101G you might believe, John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible, just read your commentary. (smile)..... YIKES!.

one more thing, the Lord Jesus took the scroll out of his own right hand.... and the bible give us the full answer to that also. but you have no clue. go and find out..... if you can. 101G know the scripture, just ask.

101G.

Good grief

Revelation 3:21–22 (UASV) — 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.’

Revelation 3:21 (NASB 2020) — 21 The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.

Revelation 3:21 (LEB) — 21 The one who conquers, I will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also have conquered and have sat down with my Father on his throne.

Get a better argument

P.S. and earth is not mentioned
READ YOUR COMMENTARY.... PLEASE... LOL, LOL, LOL, Oh boy when will they learn.....

now until you can answer how the Lord Jesus sit and stand before the throne he sits on then there is no need to continue in this discussion.

now 101G answered you, but you don't have the same courtesy to answer 101G? well thanks. (smile)....... lol.

101G

Give it up

You tried to make hay over set rather than sit

It was a worthless objection

You are delirious

this was your answer

"and am set down with my Father in his throne."

to all trinitarians, and others.
the Lord Jesus sits on the throne. this is FACT. now the next question, how the Lord Jesus sits on the throne, and yet stand before the very throne he sits on. and what is the significance of taking the scroll out of his "OWN" right hand? the answer is in the bible.

101G

@TomL, @civic, @Runningman, @Fred. your brother Keiw1 may need a bit of help on his statement, but it's an edification for all. nope he the Lord Jesus laid it, (his power), see Phil. 2:7, aside..... now if what you said Keiw 1 is true, then is it the Father you say "God always has it" (POWER) then it is the Lord Jesus who sits on the throne in chapter 4 and 5. because the Lord Jesus was given power. now if you say the Lord Jesus sits on the throne, then tell us how he, the Lord Jesus the Lamb, stand before the very throne that he sits on.

or if you say otherwise that it is the Father who sits on the throne.... then tell us who gave the Father POWER then. book chapter and verse please.
for the one who sits on the throne was given power. see Rev 4:11.

101G will be looking for each of your answers.

Someone who is given something didn't inherently have it. It's basic sense and reason. You're attempting to describe Jesus as having had something before it was given to him, probably in the eternal sense in your mind, and thus contradict the Bible that says it was given to him. Doesn't make any sense.

Um the same is given to the father will you argue he did not have power

Revelation 5:13 (KJV 1900) — 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Hello

Someone who is given something didn't inherently have it.
GINOLJC, to all.
Nonsense. LISTEN CLOSLEY, Hebrews 2:9 "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man." WHY WAS HE MADE LOWER? Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me." HIS, HIS, HIS, OWN ARM. and his OWN ARM is him..... (smile). see Isaiah chapter 53.

Now think. there are only three entitles. 1. God. 2. Angels. 3 Humans. and if he was made LOWER than the angels..... common sense, by FAITH, tells us he was HIGHER than the angels before. meaning there is only one position above the angels...... HELLO.

now watch this, Hebrews 2:7 "Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:" WHO IS THE "THOU" HERE? answer, he JESUS himself. how do you know this 101G? for the answer is in the bible itself. Philippians 2:6 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:" Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:"

if one ONLY would read with the mindset of a 3 person Godhead, then Hebrews 2:7 verse would say someone else MADE the Lord Jesus Lower. but Philippians 2:7 reveals to us who made the Lord JESUS lower than the angels. see that mindset of WHAT MANY BEEN TAUGHT CONFUSES THE READER. 101G suggest you listen to the HOLY SPIRIT and let him give you the UNDERSTANDING... BY FAITH. it works.

so your "basic sense and reason. " goes right out the window, without the Holy Spirit guidance. ... IN FAITH. ....... have Faith and LEARN the TRUTH.
You're attempting to describe Jesus as having had something before it was given to him
No, not attempting, but FACT. see again the last reply here, above. the Lord Jesus is GOD, and he made himself empty, but you have no clue as to how he did it.... (smile)... LOL, Oh yes, he made himself empty. and yes, it's in the scriptures.
and thus contradict the Bible that says it was given to him.
contradict? let's see if this ... what you say is true. scripture, Matthew 28:18 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

you don't even know your great commission.... do you? my God..... "all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." did you get? that ALL POWER, and he, the LORD, yes all cap JESUS had all power always .... for he, he, he, MADE ALL THINGS"... lol, Oh my, my, my, my, when will they EVER LEARN.
Doesn't make any sense.
it does, but better it makes FAITH. this is why 101G walk by Faith and not by sight. .... see, go to God if in doubt, the scriptures don't lie. listen, James 1:2 "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;" James 1:3 "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." James 1:4 "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:6 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." James 1:7 "For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

ask in FAITH, 101G did, and the Lord Jesus, the Spirit who is Holy revealed to 101G the mystery of the Godhead just as he did his apostles, and disciples.... Just ask in FAITH..... if you want to know the TRUTH. .......... "Ye have not because ye ask not" ask in FAITH, and see what happens.

101G.

PS, 101G suggest you read this post again carefully.

Um the same is given to the father

will you argue he did not have power?

Revelation 5:13 (KJV 1900) — 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
I guess not

Hello
That's a declaration or acknowledgement of what God already has. It doesn't say they are giving them anything like what was obviously given to Jesus repeatedly throughout the gospels. Even the way, truth, and life were given to him.

Maybe I was wrong when I stated

"You are capable of reading"

Revelation 3:21 (KJV 1900) — 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You were given the answer already
They don't actually sit on Gods throne or Jesus' throne. It just is showing being given a power position--Rev 20:4= thrones= the ones sitting on Jesus' throne, its actually given positions of power( Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6)--but thrones assures each has their own throne. Jesus throne means he is the power over them, just as God,s throne is the power over Jesus and them.

LOL, LOL, LOL, that's the anti Christ... Oh boy... Revelation 6:2 "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."
a "bow" is a cheap fabric. listen to the definition.
BOW: G5115 τόξον toxon (to'-xon) n.
a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric).
[from the base of G5088]
KJV: bow
Root(s): G5088

and the crown: G4735 στέφανος stephanos (ste'-fa-nos) n.
a chaplet (as a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor generally).
{literally or figuratively; more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple, narrow fillet or diadem (G1238)}

[from an apparently primary stepho “to twine or wreathe”]
KJV: crown

now my LORD he wear MANY CROWNS. Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." Revelation 19:12 "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself." Revelation 19:13 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:14 "And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." Revelation 19:15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." Revelation 19:16 "And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

CROWNS: G1238 διάδημα diadema (diy-a'-d̮ee-ma) n.
a “diadem” (as bound about the head).
{simpler and thinner than G4735}
[from a compound of G1223 and G1210]
KJV: crown
Root(s): G1223, G1210

101G
Your mistake--White always = righteous. White horse = righteous war.

Same prayer to both

Whoever said they were being prayed to? No commentator I have seen agrees with you. Actually, Expositor's Greek Testament commentary on Revelation 5:13 disagrees with you completely. You don't seem like much of an orthodox Trinitarian anymore. From the time we have been here talking, you have moved further to the fringe. You have to because you're scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point and getting desperate for any validation. You have none, dear Tom.

Expositor's Greek Testament commentary on Revelation 5:13
"Compare the fine rabbinic saying of Rabbi Pinchas and R. Jochanan on Psalm 100:2 : “though all offerings cease in the future, the offering of praise alone shall not cease; though all prayers cease, thanksgiving alone shall not cease."

Subject Heading:- 'Do you know the real Jesus?

'But if I tarry long
that thou mayest know
how thou oughtest to behave thyself
in the house of God
which is the church of the living God
the pillar and ground of the truth
And without controversy great
is the mystery of godliness

.. God was manifest in the flesh
.... justified in the Spirit
...... seen of angels
........ preached unto the Gentiles
.......... believed on in the world
............ received up into glory'

Praise God!

Mat 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Mat 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Yeah. You have a Rabbi in Pinchas. Jesus doesn't matter to you.

And Jesus is not the Father despite the Father being the only true God for us Christians. You smell like like the sin of idolatry.

Matthew 23 (NIV)
9And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

John 17 (NIV)
1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

I can't create an idol of Jesus Christ. It is impossible. The Father loves His Son. You don't.
