Did God, forsake Jesus on the cross?

I believe what Paul says.

I’ll stick with that.

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is but one God (Yahavah), the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Y’all have a good one. :) life is alright it seems for the Time being

its proof of His Deity as Co-Creator and equality with the Father. Its the Shema which is being denying either unknowingly or intentionally.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Eph 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

It really is a shame how people unwittingly dishonor Christ.

I know you know this but..... we have no identity without Christ. He has a name above every name.

It is sad how men use words that others write seeking to establish the Son being equal to the Father and twist them to try show lesser value and rank in Jesus Christ. There is none above Him. None. At the top, there is only the Holy Trinity without division and in perfect Unity to one another.

Men can't fathom this because they refuse to bow themselves.

You know it is within the context of Paul dealing with the idea there are many gods and lords presented in this life. There is no reason to squirm out of it... :)

You're not going to make "The Father" mad at you by equating His Son equal to Him. You can't exalt Christ any higher than the Father already has. The Father isn't jealous of His Son.

So true. One does not get to have the Father without the Son. Those who honor the Son will also be welcomed by the Father. Those who deny the Son, the Father will also deny. It reveals they are One- The Lord your God is One. the Shema. I and the Father are One- he who has seen Me has seen the Father. He has the same names, titles and descriptions as YHWH. One must turn a blind eye to them since they are written all over both the OT and NT regarding His Deity. Its a misplaced faith. And we know its only faith in the True Christ which saves. A false christ cannot save for it is also a false gospel. The 2 go hand in hand together.

I don’t have to intrigue any dialogues.

I simply believe what Paul said.

Hate it. Don’t hate it.

People can assess I disrespect Jesus if they so choose.

Who are you to make judgements? Are you my Father? Can he not correct me if need be?

Does God correct and rebuke us through His word ? yes or no

Oh the times I've heard that one.....

We are each other's keepers brother. When God came "looking" for Abel, he went to Cain..... Cain denied that he had any responsibility toward Abel. He was dead wrong.

God uses others human beings to help other human beings. Otherwise, God wouldn't have fit the "body" together as it has pleased Him. Some of us are more experienced than others. Even the novice can show that He loves the Son and is indebted to Him for His marvelous work.

We grow accustomed to denying God's voice in our lives and it is good that we have to answer to one another.

Either way, feel no obligation to answer. I'm just answering you.

2 Timothy 3:16- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.

Romans 15:4
For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Proverbs 6:23
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Does God correct and rebuke us through His word ? yes or no
By the Spirit. The referencing can be done all day long. It’s the Gospel of the Lord Yeshua, his death, burial and resurrection. The brings peace with God believed on in faith.

Some people believe they are able to dogmatically apply scriptures, or dogmatically say “if you do not believe what I believe, you’re going straight to hell” even if it’s not said out loud…

Some people love debating endlessly.

I put an end to it by sharing what I believe Paul shared with the Corinthians, which to me is true.

Don’t know about everyone else.

Paul was an apostle who wrote scripture we are not apostles and our ideas about the Bible are not inspired by God like it was with Paul. There is a huge difference

Well Big deal.

Who are you to judge me for my perspectives and views? You think quoting the Bible at me makes me at peace with God? You may need to think again, sir.

I believe what Paul stated.

You can quote the Bible all day long but if you can not love me out of Love for God and others. By allowing me to have freedom to choose and think by the spirit, then you got a problem…

That Bible is highly written to specific people in a period of time which inquired for the Lord to return… to retrieve that bride… aside from that, the first is much more of an issue than the latter.

”The teaching about the cross seems foolish to those who are lost. But to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will confuse the understanding of the intelligent.” Isaiah 29:14

So what does this say about the philosopher, the law expert, or anyone in this world who is skilled in making clever arguments?

God has made the wisdom of the world look foolish.

This is what God in his wisdom decided: Since the world did not find him through its own wisdom, he used the message that sounds foolish to save those who believe it.

The Jews ask for miraculous signs, and the Greeks want wisdom.

But this is the message we tell everyone: Christ was killed on a cross. This message is a problem for Jews, and to other people it is nonsense.

But Christ is God’s power and wisdom to the people God has chosen, both Jews and Greeks. Even the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom.

Even the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Brothers and sisters, God chose you to be his. Think about that!

Not many of you were wise in the way the world judges wisdom. Not many of you had great influence, and not many of you came from important families.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. He chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

And God chose what the world thinks is not important—what the world hates and thinks is nothing.

He chose these to destroy what the world thinks is important. God did this so that no one can stand before him and boast about anything. It is God who has made you part of Christ Jesus. And Christ has become for us wisdom from God.

He is the reason we are right with God and pure enough to be in his presence. Christ is the one who set us free from sin. So, as the Scriptures say, “Whoever boasts should boast only about the Lord.”“

I love you Matthew. If I didn’t I wouldn’t engage you :)

You just like debating. Whether you love me or do not doesn’t really concern me. It concerns yourself before Yahavah.
Forums are designed to debate hence being good Bereans, apologetics - 1 Peter 3:15- the word defense in Greek is apologia where we get the English word apologetics from.

1 Peter 3:15
Berean Standard Bible
But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect

hope this helps !!!
