faith precedes salvation
Affirming the statement

I'd say that God doesn't know my sin. He told us that He would remove them from us and forget them. I believe that God is powerful enough to do just that. Forget them.

If you can grasp this fact, it will change what anyone believes about "knowing everything".
Sigh. If this is true.... then why does the Bible indicates that all believers will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account of their lives (Romans 14:10-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10.)?

Billy Graham wrote,"Someday we each will die and stand before God to give an account of our lives"

So I posted the following question "If God does not remember our sins then why must we face judgement"

Ai ~ Believers are judged not for salvation, but to assess their works and determine eternal rewards. While God does not hold sins against them, their actions during life will still be evaluated at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Understanding God's Judgment and Forgiveness

God's Promise of Forgiveness

God promises in the Bible that He will "remember our sins no more" (Jeremiah 31:34). This means that He chooses not to hold our sins against us in terms of punishment. Believers are justified through faith in Jesus Christ, which grants them forgiveness and freedom from the penalty of sin.

The Nature of Judgment

While believers are forgiven, they will still face a judgment known as the Judgment Seat of Christ. This judgment is not about salvation but rather about assessing the lives of believers based on their actions and faithfulness.

Types of Judgment

There are two main types of judgment for believers:

  • Great White Throne Judgment: This is for the unsaved and determines eternal separation from God.
  • Judgment Seat of Christ: This evaluates the works of believers to determine their eternal rewards. It considers both good and bad actions, as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:10.

Purpose of Judgment

The purpose of this judgment is to assess how believers have lived out their faith and to reward them accordingly. It emphasizes accountability and encourages believers to serve God faithfully.

In summary, God's promise to forget our sins relates to salvation and punishment, while the judgment believers face is about rewards and the quality of their service to Him.

Tulip is contrary to scripture

John 20:31 (KJV 1900) — 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
yes life comes after belief. Bible Basics 101.
