Scripture states that by believing, you may have life.

I understand this is the typical/traditional teaching from such verses as this, However, the issue is more complex than just trying to take what Paul said here at "face value". There are more things to consider instead of simply believing everything we've ever done throughout our entire lives will be reconsidered. Some men's sin are open before hand. Some men's follow. Some are already judged. Some await judgment.

Lets witness what the verses you reference do not say......

1. They do not reference the entirety of our sinfulness.
2. They do not reference the times of our ignorance. Like when we are a children or unable to understand the simplest of things.
3. They do not reference our sins relative to dementia or physical impairments that make it impossible for us to live without the assistance of others. Sin is much deeper than most people think.
4. They do not reference the sins of others that put us in impossible situations. (I can elaborate but be prepared to be offended. I avoid the details because of the shocking circumstances they include )

As you rightfully witnessed, there is complexity here. That is why God personally is going to judge us. He understands the complexity of these situations better than anyone else. Including ourselves.

I stand by what I said. I'll expand why.

Most people believe they can't forget something entirely. Living proves otherwise. While some may insist that God actually remembers yet doesn't consider their actions, there are Scriptures to consider that say otherwise.

Psa 103:12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

In Micah 7:19 God speaks of casting sins into the deeps of the sea. Basically "into the abyss".

In the very thing that destroyed this world.

If he has forgotten, or remembers no more.... Wonderful, and I take that and fully accept that... (primarily because for too long now for whatever reason, I have had these nagging memories of wrong doings within my life that just do not go away... no matter what.) But is it not God the Father who remembers no more? Then what about God the Son and God the Holy Spirit... All three participate in the forgiveness process, and the Bible indicates that God chooses to remember our sins no more (Isaiah 43:25).

It is an interesting topic....

It also is a refreshing topic.

Our mind is bound to a physical existence. There are both metaphysical and intangible aspects to the human mind. We do not have the power to remove experience from our minds. It is why we must "renew" our minds. To fill our minds with important things.

I've told my children over the years to be careful what they chose to know. One day you will regret what they put into your mind when they could have filled their minds with so many good things. It is why I see sin the way I see it. I see the missed opportunities to know even more about God. To be where I should be instead of where I am. Don't worry though. God is going to fix us permanently one day.

God is not bound by our inabilities. We can ask "why am I such" and there is many answers for the "why but usually they can all be answered in realizing we could have been different.

Such regret isn't lost on us still. It should motivate us to do more. To realize what is meaningful and what isn't. To fill our time and hearts with God.

All things work together for us. It isn't that all things are good.... but rather that He is altogether GOOD. He can fill us with Himself. Our choice.

I think it has to do with reading comprehension.

When things pertaining to things such as salvation are basically handed to one.... (Let he who has wisdom understand)... the
brain will weaken as will a muscle when others do the work and just like a muscle that needs to be exercised to keep toned
so does the brain.... which one always needs but sometimes does not have.
