Daniel's 70 weeks and the Messiah

Well then, you disagree not with me but with CLEAR Prophecy of the LORD Jesus Christ.

Mr. Doug Brents erroneously believes Zechariah chapter 14 has already occurred.

Are you also on that misquided assumption?

Amillinialism is just as erroneous as Dispensationalism.
I would lean towards Doug Brent's view and believe the bible prohibits any form of premillennialism.

The return of Christ brings with it universal resurrection, judgment, the assignment of eternal destinies and a new heaven and a new earth so I do niot see any possibility for a future after Christ returns millenium

On the other hand the bible does make it clear Christ has now received a kingdom

Daniel 7:13–14 (NASB 2020) — 13 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a son of man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14 “And to Him was given dominion, Honor, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

Luke 19:11–12 (ESV) — 11 As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately. 12 He said therefore, “A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return.

Ephesians 1:19–23 (ESV) — 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Are you a historic premillennialist?

Simple Truth for Children

Was the United States, (a nation) in existence when Paul said: "because your faith is proclaimed throughout the world" ?
NOPE

There are many other nations that came into existence AFTER the Gospel was proclaimed by the Apostles.
The people who came to this land and established the United States already had the Gospel. And the peoples who were already here had, at some point in the past, received the Gospel (for Scripture says that all the world had received the Gospel before AD62). These peoples' ancestors must have disbelieved the Gospel, or they would have carried it with them when they came to North America from the west.

I am not an "amillinnialist" either. I do not really fit in any of the millennial categories, because I do not believe the millennium will occur on Earth. It will be in Heaven, and occur after the tribulation (which we are currently in (and has lasted much longer than 7 years)), but it will happen.

Hmm. That is a rather unusual position I had not heard before

LOL, it does not matter that new nations have sprung up. New nations are formed from the people in existing nations (they don't just spring out of the ground), and if the Gospel had been preached to the people of the former nation, then the Gospel had already been preached to the newly formed nation. So if the Gospel had been preached to all nations as early as AD62, then that prophecy has already been fulfilled, and is no longer a barrier to the coming of the Lord.

Is there not a DIRECT PROPHECY from the LORD telling us of the DURATION of the GOSPEL = YES

Is the GOSPEL being preached to ALL Nations one of the 'final signs/prophecies' to be Fulfilled BEFORE His Coming = YES

This is what we call a 'no-brainer' = This Gospel will be preached in all the world to all nations and then the end will come"

The LORD clearly stated this
throughout the Gospel.

Doug, you obviously cannot SEE very far down the Road which the LORD JESUS prophesied of.
For according to your analysis,(unbelief) "the END" spoken of by the LORD came about as early as AD62.
Yet, hear we are and the GOSPEL continues to be preached throughout, reaching the nations.

Where is the prophecy that gives a "duration of the Gospel"? I would love to read such a prophecy.

Yes, it is one of the final signs leading up to the end. And since Scripture says that it has been fulfilled (in all the passages that have already been shown to you), we can know for certain that we are living in the last days, and that the end could come at any time.

There is nothing in that verse that says that the end will come immediately upon the Gospel being preached to all the world. No, the Gospel will be preached to all the world and after that, at some point, the end will come. The end could come a minute later, or it could come 100,000 years later, but it will come "later", after the Gospel has been preached to all the world.

In the context of Mat 24:14

it is not the end of the gospel age in view

Matthew 24:1–3 (ESV) — 1 Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” 3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

It MOST certainly is

This is what we call a 'no-brainer' = "This Gospel will be preached in all the world to all nations and then the end will come"

Another 'no brainer '= “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Children's Bread= All that the LORD says in Matthew 24 are Prophetic = Past Present and Future all the Way to Matt 24:29-31

Um saying it is a no brainer is not exactly proof

The context is

Matthew 24:1–3 (NASB 2020) — 1 Jesus left the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. 2 But He responded and said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Since that is the "beginning" where is the END?

Oh, i found it - here it is:

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

and the LORD gave us MORE:
So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’a described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house. And let no one in the field return for his cloak.

and MORE:
For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now,
and never to be seen again.

and MORE:
If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.

and FINALLY:
Immediately after the tribulation of those days:
‘The sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.'

At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven,c and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.d And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Luke 21:5–24 (KJV 1900) — 5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls. 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
