Can People Get Saved After the Rapture?

All true believers will be raptured before the Tribulation begins.

Within some churches who claim Jesus as Lord are those who say that Christ’s kingdom can be established here on earth during His absence. This movement takes various names: kingdom, dominion, reconstruction. The basic premise is that mortal man can accomplish what only the immortal Lord can perform.

They believe that society must be reconstructed by Christians to establish the kingdom of God on earth before the personal return of Jesus Christ. They are dead set against any form of a Rapture.

These christians are just as deceived/misled as those who believe the falsehood of 'pre-trib' rapture.

There is a coming Rapture of "remaining saints" which ONLY occurs AFTER the Resurrection at His Second Coming.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-18
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [c]sleep in Jesus.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.

We are commanded by God to only believe His words = 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Cor chapter 15, Gospel

Preaching and teaching falsehood such as 'pre-trib' rapture is another ido; along with many others in modern day christianity.

One of the great techniques of the human potential leaders is to use Scripture to support their views. One quoted is 1 Corinthians 15:51: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.”

This Scripture refers to the Rapture, a time when Christ will come for all believers before the seven-year Tribulation. This is the pre-Tribulation view, which I hold. (A mystery is a revealed truth that man cannot discern by human wisdom.) Some Christians may identify that verse with the resurrection of all believers at the Second Coming of Christ. However, using that Bible verse as an analogy for “Neuro-Linguistic Programming” is a gross distortion.
1 Corinthians 15:51: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.”
100% TRUTH

This Scripture refers to the Rapture, a time when Christ will come for all believers before the seven-year Tribulation.
100% FALSE

The Rapture only occurs at the Second Coming of Christ and only AFTER the Resurrection.

One of satan's great techniques is to get men to add to God's words what HE never said, such as 'pre-trib' rapture.

Holy men of God never add or take away from God's words = "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Contradicting the Gospel, the words of Christ and the Apostles comes from ignorance of the Holy Scriptures and a heart that has been compromised with "respect of persons", ie: RELIGION

100% TRUTH

Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE that a pre-trib rapture will take place because the HOLY SPIRIT 'ain't goin NO-WHERE' until CHRIST Returns to Gather His People = the Elect of God = His Church

WITNESS of TRUTH = Revelation 7:9-14
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
Amen.”
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me,
Who are these arrayed in white robes, and
where did they come from?

And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me,
These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Question for @Larry and @Bob Carabbio and @TomL

Did the Holy Spirit LEAVE these saints who endured the Great Tribulation???
You are probably thinking of a future tribulation

I hold hold to a ~70 ad tribulation

Tribulation began in the Garden and will not stop until the Second Coming of Christ.

In fact, there was great tribulation poured out on Jerusalem in 70 AD.

This was God's Judgment upon the Jewish leaders and those who followed them, including the Temple building, for rejecting and murdering their MESSIAH and His followers.

Yep

Lying is SIN

The order of Books in the Bible, if not chronological, is in error.

The Holy Scriptures only Prophesy/Teach/Command that we wait for the Second Coming of Christ as we go thru Tribulation.

Lying is SIN = Proverbs 30:5-6

Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

God is calling His People to turn away from falsehood and sin.

Actually the bible teaches a second coming rapture

The dead will rise first, then the living (believers) will be caught up
I admit there are different views of when the rapture occurs. All beliefs discussed here have biblical validity and we shouldn’t fight or argue about which belief is best. The most important truth to remember is that Jesus is returning in power to take His church (believers) with Him to heaven for all eternity! Our part is to be watchful and ready.

One of satan's great techniques is to get men to add to God's words what HE never said,

Satan says: 'pre-trib' rapture

LORD Jesus Christ says:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

We should never argue or fight against the words of the LORD or the Apostles or the OT Prophets

When the Bible speaks about the coming of the Lord, it says, “Therefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thess. 4:18).

Think of the word comfort as encourage. That we will be will be with the Lord thru the tribulation and we will be present during the millennium.

God has prepared a wonderful and glorious future for all who name the name of Christ in faith.

The next great event is not the coming of the Antichrist. It is the Great Escape, the Pre Tribulation rapture...

(1 Thess. 4:16–17)

If you want people to believe you make the text bigger. :ROFLMAO:

Recent assaults on the pre-Tribulation rapture view have left many Christians confused and in some cases disillusioned. Some have even abandoned this blessed hope, discarding their belief that the Lord could return at any moment. Why do they give up such a reassuring and biblical hope? It’s because many of these attacks at first sight do seem plausible—but further examination reveals their profound bankruptcy.

The promise that our Lord could appear at any moment to take His church up to His Father’s house was delivered by the Lord Himself:

DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
3 And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
John 14:1–3

@Richard @Jay @Kenny

Those who teach pre-trib rapture are in sin thru willful ignorance of the Holy Scriptures.

@Kenny - When God wants you to believe His Truth HE will simply Speak His word thru faithful men and women.

LARGE/BOLD print is for those who reject the words of God

100% FALSE

How many lies are you guys going to make up in order to continue in the lie of pre-trib rapture???

JESUS never lied = you should believe His words

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for [a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

15“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the [c]elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

23“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25See, I have told you beforehand.

26“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

the Rapture and the Second Coming will take place at different chronological times and in separate geographical places. They have different settings.

The Second Coming will take place: seven years after the Rapture. Only then will Christ descend from His throne to inhabit our world once again in a physical way.

The Second Coming occurs very quickly at the SAME time = His Second Coming

Early in the book of Revelation, the Lord Jesus promised the church at Philadelphia:

“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)

Andrew M. Woods wrote, “Commentators of all stripes readily acknowledge that this verse represents the most significant verse in the debate over the timing of the rapture.”

And that would be The per-tribulation rapture.

The per-tribulation rapture is the belief that Jesus will secretly return to earth to gather the church before the start of a seven-year tribulation period. The rapture is the moment when believers are translated from mortality to immortality and taken to heaven. It is believed to occur before Christ's second coming, which will be followed by a thousand-year Messianic Kingdom.

Some reasons for the per-tribulation rapture theory include:
  • The Bible doesn't provide a specific time for the rapture
  • The rapture would be less significant if it occurred after the tribulation
  • The nature of Christ's second coming is different from the rapture

Man-made doctrine with not a single scripture that declares this.

The LORD never said and NEVER promised a 'pre-trib' rapture to anyone.

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, [f]and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
12He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

13“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

JESUS never promised that those FAITHFUL to Him will be 'pre-trib' raptured.
Corrupting the words of God disqualifies a person to be kept from the coming trial of your faith.

1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

The bible does not teach multiple views, and only one view can be true. We should not separate over it, but we should strive to arrive at the truth of the matter
