Calvinism is Gospel !

The way I understand it, John 6:44 is talking about those who were chosen before the foundation of the world. These will always come to Jesus upon hearing the Gospel. Remember, if you belong to Jesus, He will never lose you.

John 6:35-40 (NKJV) 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 “But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Ephesians 1:4-6 (NKJV) 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

I would say it is speaking of those Jews who were believers of God. And that there is no evidence of unconditional election to salvation before the foundation of the earth.

John 17:2 (LEB) — 2 just as you have given him authority over all flesh, in order that he would give eternal life to them—everyone whom you have given him.

John 6:37–39 (LEB) — 37 Everyone whom the Father gives to me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never throw out, 38 because I have come down from heaven not that I should do my will, but the will of the one who sent me. 39 Now this is the will of the one who sent me: that everyone whom he has given me, I would not lose any of them, but raise them up on the last day.

Luke 10:22 (LEB) — 22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wants to reveal him.”

John 17:6–10 (LEB) — 6 “I have revealed your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they understand that all the things that you have given me are from you, 8 because the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they received them and know truly that I have come from you, and they have believed that you have sent me. 9 I am asking on behalf of them. I am not asking on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those whom you have given me, because they are yours, 10 and all my things are yours, and your things are mine, and I have been glorified in them.

Okay so that's been my point, no natural unregenerated person in the flesh can spiritually repent turn from sin believe in Jesus Christ, for those things please God

Deuteronomy 30:11–19 (LEB) — 11 “For this commandment that I am commanding you today is not too wonderful for you, and it is not too far from you. 12 It is not in the heavens so that you might say, ‘Who will go up for us to the heavens and get it for us and cause us to hear it, so that we may do it?’ 13 And it is not beyond the sea, so that you might say, ‘Who will cross for us to the other side of the sea and take it for us and cause us to hear it, so that we may do it?’ 14 But the word is very near you, even in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it. 15 “See, I am setting before you today life and prosperity and death and disaster; 16 what I am commanding you today is to love Yahweh your God by going in his ways and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his regulations, and then you will live, and you will become numerous, and Yahweh your God will bless you in the land where you are going. 17 However, if your heart turns aside and you do not listen and you are lured away and you bow down to other gods and you serve them, 18 I declare to you today that you will certainly perish; you will not extend your time on the land that you are crossing the Jordan to go there to take possession of it. 19 I invoke as a witness against you today the heaven and the earth: life and death I have set before you, blessing and curse. So choose life, so that you may live, you and your offspring,

Acts 2:38 (LEB) — 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (LEB) — 14 then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and will pray and will seek my face and will turn from their evil ways, then I myself shall hear from the heavens and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

Ezekiel 18:30–32 (LEB) — 30 “Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, each one according to his ways,” declares the Lord Yahweh. “Repent and turn around from all of your transgression, and it will not be as a stumbling block of iniquity to you. 31 Throw away from yourselves all of your transgressions that you committed, and make for yourselves a new heart and new spirit, and so why will you die, house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of the dying,” declares the Lord Yahweh. “And so repent and live!”

Man is shown to be able to repent

Well it's been read by many. How do you supposed to post an article just simply post it

You don't even know what your original post says.

I will not take seriously someone who refuses to take his own posts seriously.

Good day.

@JLB
Can you explain what he believes?
I'm not here to defend any man, I can tell you what the word of God teaches, and what I see and understand, do you want to hear it and respond back to me? A simple yes, or no. Thank you.

@Selah
Election was not unconditional; it was conditional. It’s all about God’s foreknowledge.
The question is this: "What did God's foreknowledge know that caused him to elect some angles and some men?"

There's only "one" answer, that will flow with all scriptures, and it is this: "God in His infinite wisdom knew that if he did not have an election of grace, then "NO ONE" being, angels or man would have been saved for being destroyed...not one!

It is truly all of God's mercy to some among the angels and man, based on God's infinite knowledge of knowing the end from the beginning.

The question is this: "What did God's foreknowledge know that caused him to elect some angles and some men?"

Why is God somehow required to tell us this?

Cannot it be a mystery he holds to himself?

@Overcomer
Sounds like your full of yourself. But I'm not surprised because Jesus talked about it and the disciples asked questions about it. It’s there in the Word for us to read and study.
Well, that's a bold statement, since you truly do not know me, let's stay away from judging a person's character, go go after their doctrine, that's fair game, but their heart we do not know.

Let get back to your first post and discuss that post before jumping all over the place. All these scriptures below I know them well and have known them for over fifty years almost by memory. Yet they are nothing more than many scriptures quoted without a purpose as to why they are being quoted.

Why is God somehow required to tell us this?
My friend, God is not require, and I never said he was, yet reading, searching the scriptures. we come to understand what 1st Peter is teaching us.

1st Peter 1:2
"Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied."

So. when we read these words, we must ask ourselves what did God's foreknowledge know that caused him to have an election of grace.

Reading such scriptures as:

Psalms 14
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD. There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad."

Two of David's Psalms said the same message Psalms 53; Paul added, Romans 3:9:19, etc. If, there was no election of grace, then you and I would never have come to believe in Jesus Christ, on our own, impossible.

My friend, God is not require, and I never said he was, yet reading, searching the scriptures. we come to understand what 1st Peter is teaching us.

So. when we read these words, we must ask ourselves what did God's foreknowledge know that caused him to have an election of grace.

I find these two statements in complete contradiction to each other.
