Regeneration is not the first act of renewal when a person is first converted to Christ, but extends to the resultant process throughout the entirety of the Christian walk. It is a continuing work of the Holy Spirit renewing and transforming the lives of Christians as they surrender themselves to the Lordship of Christ and the authority of His word after their conversion. Hand and hand with sanctification.

Yes nothing Spiritual can come from us until regenerated, cant hear spiritually, cant think spiritually cant come Spiritually, cant see Spiritually, Nothing, Dead

But luckily we have free will and we can choose Jesus. Then all of that changes we can get regenerated.

We're talking about free will right? The Bible contains some 70 or more references to choosing. Throughout the pages of Scripture, the inescapable Importance of choosing for or against believing in the Lord the sounds out over and over again. That's a fact.
Jesus said, “Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own”
John 7:17
Further, He declared, “Whoever is not with me is against me” Matthew 12:30
Thats the fact... that each of us must choose for or against Christ, the Bible makes clear that we have only a limited time to make this choice, and that the consequence of doing so endures for eternity.

Once we choose Jesus and are saved is when we are regenerated and set free we're no longer slaves to sin and death. We have righteousness peace and joy in the holy ghost. We abide in Christ.

One thing I know for sure is darkness can never put out the light, Light always expels darkness. Jesus is the light. When we have Jesus in our heart with walking the light.

Free will seems to be quite the topic today. I must say it is a rather interesting talking point. For instance when we say that a person has a will is to say that a person experiences purpose, intends things, and makes decisions. Machines do not do that sort of thing, regardless how sophisticated they are. Artificial intelligence has come a long way but they're not there yet.
Discussion on free will is geared toward our ability as sinful human beings to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. With that in mind to describe the human will as free is to say something about the way it functions. So to speak of the will as free when it comes to salvation we are using our free will in a proper manner. Be careful how you deny free will: you may very well deny the will itself.
When we use the term free will we are sayin that choices are involved. Certainly none of us believe that God would be pleased with having robots to serve him. I believe he wants people that love him and choose to serve him.
“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15

You're exactly right. That is exactly how some approach matters of the heart.
"A heart convinced its will is of the same opinion still"
It is nothing more than compliance. I think we've all had issues when someone just does what we say to do while giving no indication they actually agree.
