An Article on free will

Depending on the sacrifice of Jesus,,,that WE ALL KNOW was predestinated...
is of no help to you.

Sure.
Easy to say.
But can you SHOW US HOW?

HOW does God leaving some to be damned to hell for eternity
FOR NO REASON other than for HIS GOOD PLEASURE...
make God a good God?

We all know GOD IS GOOD Kermos...
It's the reformed/calvinists that make God out to be NOT GOOD.

Apparently, you dispute that God makes absolutely everyone everywhere in all time, yet, you see, according to Free-willian Philosophy, God damns some people to hell. Notice the hypocrisy of your argument.

God is the Just Judge "I, the LORD, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them" (Isaiah 61:8).

You are confusing the goodness of God with the justice of God.

God is good without regard to whether God saves anyone at all; in other words, God is good independent of salvation for man.

I praise God for choosing to be the salvation of man!

You do not know the goodness of God because if you knew the goodness of God, then you would not have formulated your questions.

You free-willians commit robbery in the offering with your "apart from Christ, I chose to believe in Christ so Christ must profit me with salvation".

You believe you buy your way into heaven with your natural fleshly free-will faith payment in your "apart from Christ, I chose to believe in Christ so Christ must profit me with salvation", yet the Christ of us Christians declares "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing" (The Word of God, John 15:5) and "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3) and “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation) and “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent” (John 6:29) and “It is the Spirit who gives Life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and are Life” (John 6:63), so you believe falsehood (2 Peter 2:1, 2 Peter 2:9-10).

Be assured, Lord Jesus Christ speaks to all Christians in all time with Christ's loving words recorded in John 15:16 and (John 15:19 as previously shown to you in post #6,543.

I figured that.

But sheeesh.

Aren't we happy that our God is love?

His is not.

But it is the love of the Almighty God, and it must be satisfied, It cannot be a mere fruitless affection. Its purposes must take effect, for its the catalyst to quicken Loved dead in sin sinners Eph 2:4-5

4 But God[Almighty], who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Its Impossible for the Almighty God to Love Greatly a People, and not quicken them together with Christ from being dead in sin, which is Salvation in the Vital Phase.

I dont know what you talking about, explain your stuff
The unregenerate, those not born again, do indeed eat and drink. Nothing about the physical or mental capabilities are changed in regeneration. It is strictly a change in the condition of the human spirit that, once being dead in trespasses and sins, is made alive again.

Once again, you claim that God, who has commanded us to love our enemies (Matt 5:44; Luke 5:27, 35), hates His. What an unreasonable character trait you claim for God.

Not spiritually, they have no spiritual life, therefore not even a spiritual appetite or desire Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Now they may indeed desire and eat at the waffle house or something lol

It is really too bad that you do not really study the word of God very well!

Sovereignty of God still in action
For a moment, forget everything you learned and focus on the below Scripture passage.

1Tim 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
1Tim 2:2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
1Tim 2:3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
1Tim 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

The good Lord desires all people to be saved and He has given the means, the mediator Christ Jesus.

In your theology God does not desire all people to be saved.

Get it?

Correct. @brightfame52 espouses a totally depraved theology, started by a totally depraved individual (Calvin), that preys on unsuspecting people and transforms them into totally depraved subjects.

What, exactly, do you think the above means???
This is a problem.
The reformed take ordinary verses and make them mean all sorts of incorrect doctrine.

Matthew 11:25
25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.

The Grace of God means exactly “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes” (Matthew 11:25).

And, by the time we finish reviewing and dissecting your heart's treasure (Matthew 15:16-19, Matthew 6:21) about Matthew chapter eleven, your last state will be worse than the first.

Now, let's look at Matthew 11 in full:
Verse 14
14 "And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come.
Verse 14 speak of Free Will.

You impose your free-will adulteration as a replacement for the Word of God thusly:
The traditions of men The Word of God
If you are free-willing to receive it, this is Elijah, who is to come.
(GodsGrace 11:14)
If you are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, who is to come.
(Matthew 11:14)
and the Apostle Paul wrote "it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13), so your heart believes your sovereignty of man eliminating the Sovereignty of God, and so goes your adulteration of the Holy Word of God.

Verse 15
15 "He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
Verse 15 means that a person is ABLE TO HEAR,,,,IF he WANTS TO HEAR.
Free Will.

The loving Christ of us Christians opens our ears to hear the Word of God in Truth (John 14:6):

And looking up to heaven, He sighed deeply and said to him, "Ephphatha!" (which means, "Be opened!"). Immediately the man’s ears were opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak plainly.
(Mark 7:34-35)
But you do not believe Christ does the wonders that He does, instead, you believe you open your own self-willed ears (2 Peter 2:9-10).

Now, look at "he who has ears to hear, let him hear." (Matthew 11:15) and see that "He who has ears to hear" is made by Christ as part of the born again, new man.

Your heart (Matthew 15:16-19, Matthew 6:21) really adulterates the Word of God, here:
The traditions of men The Word of God
he who has free-will ears that WANTS TO hear, let him use his ABLE ears apart from Me to hear.
(GodsGrace 11:15)
he who has ears to hear, let him hear.
(Matthew 11:15)
and Lord Jesus Christ declares “he who practices the Truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they are having been worked in God” (John 3:21), so your heart believes your sovereignty of man eliminating the Sovereignty of God, and so goes your adulteration of the Holy Word of God.

As a reminder, you tried to nullify the Word of God recorded in John 3:21 in order to conform to your fraudulent free-will as shown in post #6,580, but you failed.

Verses 16-19
16 "But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market places, who call out to the other children,
17 and say, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.'
18 "For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon!'
19 "The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds."
Jesus was addressing the current generation of Jews.
They were like spoiled children COMPLAINING TO GOD...Apparently they didn't know that God had predestinated everything for them.
These child-like Jews were never happy....they called John the Baptist crazy...and they called Jesus friend of the misfits.
But Jesus didn't care for what the Jews thought/believed...He was going to accomplish what He came for.

Note that you wrote "Jesus was addressing the current generation of Jews" regarding Matthew 11:16-19. You perform the action as if there is no other application by Jesus. But, more about audience and applicability later.

Verse 20
20 Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
Again, you're faced with having to read about Free Will.
Jesus denounces Chorazin, Bethsaida, Tyre, Sidon.....because they DID NOT REPENT.....sounds like Free Will.

You ears do not hear because you wrote "sounds like Free Will", and here is the Spiritual proof:
The word of GodsGrace The Word of God
Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not free-will choose to repent.
(GodsGrace 11:20)
Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
(Matthew 11:20)
and Lord Jesus Christ declares repentance in man is controlled by God when Christ says shortly later in the same dialog "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes" (Matthew 11:25), so you adulterate the Holy Word of God.

Verse 25
25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
Jesus was happy that God had taught His ways to the Apostles,,,,the children who were not learned as the Pharisees were.
But they were WILLING to learn....the Pharisees were NOT WILLING to learn.
God does not keep His promises hidden....
It's the same as when Jesus said that we must hate our parents if we want to follow Him....
It's the language of the day...
Hermeneutics Kermos.

Lord Christ's prayer is absolutely beautiful:

I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes
(Lord Jesus Christ, Matthew 11:25).
I thank You, Father, for revealing your Son, my Savior, to me, I am so unworthy and utterly inept in my own initiative, but You are almighty, the crown of wisdom, and worthy of all PRAISE!!!

You have provided a number of points of departure for examining your heart's treasure (Matthew 15:16-19, Matthew 6:21), and a journey begins with the first step.

Your "God does not keep His promises hidden" conveys your heart's deeper sentiment nullifying the Word of God recorded in (Matthew 11:25) because the Lord says You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent.

I deserve wrath and punishment, but You, Holy Father, reached down into the catastrophy that was me, and You, Good Father, delivered me with Your Mercy and Grace and Peace! Thank You, Jesus, for cleansing me!

With your "Jesus was happy that God had taught His ways to the Apostles", your thoughts adulterate the Word of God by wrongly restricting affected individuals in a like manner to where you adulterate the Word recorded in John 15:16 and John 15:19; furthermore, you wrote "the Pharisees were NOT WILLING to learn". As a result of all that, here are your adversarial thoughts against God's thoughts:
GodsGrace's thoughts Holy God's Thoughts
I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that the wise and intelligent Pharisees, who were unwilling to be taught, chose to hide these things from themselves and the Apostles, who free-will chose to learn from God and reveal to themselves these things
(GodsGrace 11:25)
I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes
(Matthew 11:25)
so Lord Jesus Christ declares repentance in man is controlled by God because the Word of God says "no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him" (Matthew 11:27) in the same dialog, so your heart adulterates the Holy Word of God.

Your "Hermeneutics" are truly your extreme opposition to the Word of God.

You think, in your free-will, that you are among the wise and intelligent because your flesh is free-will wise and intelligent enough to choose to believe in Jesus according to your Free-willian Philosophy. God's beauty is right in front of you as recorded in Matthew 11:25, yet your ears hear not the beautiful sound of the Voice of Truth (John 14:6).
