All Claims of The Son's Deity

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. John 1:18

That doesn't say Jesus has visually seen God. It says Jesus made God known or explained Him.

So I will say thank you for replying, but this is more of an exercise in discovery for you all. Jesus nor anyone else ever said he had visually seen God.

The discovery is finding out how deceived some people are.

It's okay to be wrong and move on from it gracefully as it shows maturity and demonstrates you can be responsible for your errors. Blaming others for your failure to deliver isn't a good look.

Then there is no evidence Jesus saw God a special way that someone was claiming.
you said Jesus saw God the same way they did. they saw the Father in Jesus. So Jesus looked at himself to see God. That is the logic created by your earlier point. You keep missing key verses to preserve your misunderstanding.

Seeing/knowing God refers to understanding God. Jesus sees and knows God like how the disciples do. Notice how Jesus is only ever primarily concerned with the Father. That's because there isn't a trinity. He only defines his God as the Father throughout the gospels. So why don't you?

John 14
7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”

Not sure how you come up with such unorthodox ideas. If the Father were seen through the gospel, the disciples would have known God before he said it. You really need to find a standard teacher rather than making up ideas.

It is generally easy to expose your errors. this time is no exception. The point i have been sharing is from John 14:9 (NASB95)
9Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

You just seem to be a partial-scripturalist. You just use scattered verses that you think make your argument.

Philippians... what did Jesus empty himself from?

What the Scriptures say he was... the son of God, the Messiah to Israel, thus, royal blood. He humbled himself from what he was and took on the role of a servant.

Right. He emptied himself of the glory he had with God before his incarnation. We were just looking at another passage like this.

Can I have your verse that says Jesus emptied himself of the glory he had with God before his incarnation?

I can provide my verses upon request on Jesus being the son of God, the Messiah to Israel, thus, royal blood.

Just Biblical ideas. Don't care about what is "orthodox" in your organization. In Christianity, what Jesus said is the standard so that's what I go by.

That is not mentioned at all in Philippians 2 or anywhere else in the Bible. You are at odds with Scripture as usual.
