You shall worship the Lord you God only.

you have not yet clarified what the single acceptable church group is. Which one are we supposed to attend?

It’s the one that obeys what the scriptures say.

“For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.” (Romans 16:19, KJV)

ok. you exhausted your knowledge. that was quite brief. a one line commentary on the doctrine that was wrong in Rome.

Maybe you can share the history of the church in Rome.

The history of the church is irrelevant.

The word of God is current and in effect to all generations. Any assembly of believers not adhering to its doctrine is heretical. Period.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16, KJV)

Great. So you do not read scripture in its context. What else should we learn about your manner of interpreting scripture?

Who’s “context” sir?

I read the Bible in its own context.

Based on your responses, I perceive that your context is polluted.
how so about "my" context? You keep on giving sparse details in everything you post. You are wasting space in this discussion with your evasiveness. You are quoting verses without context and you seem to suggest only one church group has the truth. Which church group should we all be following, in your estimation?

I can’t help it that simple Bible verses no longer have an effect on you.
You are only searching for proof texts without context.
Also, I will repost this from above, since I edited it after you responded

I’m only trying to give you answers out of the holy scriptures. But that seems to be intellectually boring to you…

Posting scripture is wasting space?

Oh my.

You are quoting verses without context

I’m quoting them in the context of our discussion. I’m trying to help you.

Which church group should we all be following, in your estimation

I already answered this question out of the scriptures. But Here’s more:

“For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.” (1 Corinthians 4:17, KJV)

And in case you want to eliminate the Old Testament:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16, KJV)

Any group faithful to the word of God contained in the holy scriptures is the group that should be followed.

“Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.” (Philippians 3:17, KJV)

So your point about groups faithful to the word of God allows that people can select their preferred church. That is the issue that you seemed to be rejecting. But remember to post scripture that adheres to its context, not just using a nice worded verse as a proof text.

Right. I'm not trying to make too much of a doctrine around the idea, but Jesus did say his sheep know his voice and they won't go to another.

John 10:1–5.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers
I think those sheep are hearing the voice of another

Certainly this debate reveals people not of the flock. One thing to be cautious of are people who make a wholesale rejection of the broad doctrines of Christianity. That is the arrogant idea that all of Christianity has been totally wrong until these guys came along to show us the real meaning.

Yep it takes a lot of audacity

If one’s preference is to be faithful to the Holy Bible then naturally whatever church they choose is because of said preference.

broad doctrines of Christianity.

Sounds suspect.

“…charge some that they teach no other doctrine…” (1 Timothy 1:3, KJV)

“…henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive…” (Ephesians 4:14, KJV)

But sadly the time described below has come:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4, KJV)

you talk with vague ideas of doctrines here. I'm not sure where you are finding deviations from "true" doctrines.
