Women in Ministry

U don't read with comprehension ..... at all ... do U? Oh well.

101G.

The real problem you are having with me is that I do comprehend....

"Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls."

And, what do you present to us?

Doesn't matter.

We need to get this false religion out of the church one day.

The word "pastor" appearing in the masculine gender???

What has that got to do with what you consider "false religion?"

Does that mean you approve of women pastors?

Doesn't matter.

We need to get this false religion out of the church one day.

We are not going to get false religion out of the church until the Lord returns.
The best we can do for now would be to get false religion out of one's own local church.
Done by choosing a well trained wise pastor ... and submitting to him as he weeds out those
who want to maintain false teachings in your church.

That's the pastor's job in part.

this, 1 Corinthians 14:35 "And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."
A. do you know the difference between a WIFE/woman here in this verse vs a FEMALE/WOMAN that is not in context in this verse?

1 Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
B. did you know that the apostle Paul was not even speaking to any woman at all, but to their husbands. did you know this also?

THIS IS WHAT 101G PRESENT TO YOU. what you don't know. did u learn anything useful in school, no put down, just an observation.

101G bring scripture, and understanding of the scripture that he brings. what about u? have any scripture on women in ministry with context and understanding? if so, please post them.

I will try one more time, because you are the problem that is associated with Proverbs 12:1.

Here is the nature of Christ:
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls."

And, here is your persona? ...
101G

Something is wrong with 101G's mind to come here to a forum for Christians and present himself looking like a sinister pedophile, or dope dealer.

How dumb can one be?

Add to that? Why should we listen to your "robotically" expressed ideas?

This should be the Holy Spirit revealing Jesus Christ...

"Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls."

Fire your inept casting director, please!
You are terribly miscasted for a forum for Christians.

May I suggest trying a new persona?

You can not get the job done.

Does 101G comprehend what I say?
Maybe you should explain it to 101G.

Or is his software programming too primitive?

grace and truth .......................

She re-interprets scripture in ways that are healing and life-giving.

Sort of like re-interpreting scripture to align with "God is love".

Her problem is nothing new. Paul called them enemies of the Cross of Christ.
Because? They make their emotions to be their god. Their emotions rule.

Philippians 3:17-19
New King James Version

Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.
For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the
enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose
glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.'

In those days they used the word "belly" to describe what we refer to today as the emotions.
That "female," alleged pastor, was blatantly emotion driven.

they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction,
whose god is their belly (emotions), and whose glory is in their shame
—who set their mind on earthly things.'

GINOLJC, to all.
HeadStart for some.
Knowing that the apostle Paul is a Pastor, which is synonyms with Bishop. the apostle Paul, beside being a preacher, and teacher he's also as said a "Bishop/Pastor". but the qualification at 1 Timothy 3:1 "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work." 1 Timothy 3:2 "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;"

A. the apostle Paul no where in scriptures have a wife.

B. a Bishop, is to be "blameless". which means,
G423 ἀνεπίληπτος anepileptos (a-ne-piy'-leep-tos) adj.
1. not arrested.
2. (by implication) inculpable.
[from G1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of G1949]
KJV: blameless, unrebukeable

the term "inculpable" means free from guilt : blameless. but did he not approved of out brother Stephen murder? by laying down his coat for approval? but, but, was he not forgiven of this and a few other UN-blameless acts he did? so why throw "must be blameless into the qualification, when we all have been guilty of something .... even after in Christ. so why throw that qualification in there? for none are righteous no not one. well that qualification would end anyone from becoming a bishop.

so lets re-set. if one is IN, IN, IN, Christ Jesus all guilt has been wiped away. ....... by the Blood of Christ. for the apostle paul attested to that. supportive scripture, 1 Timothy 1:12 "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;" 1 Timothy 1:13 "Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief."

well now, that just eliminated that qualification for a saved MAN. now if this is correct and the term MAN in 1 Timothy 3 is a "MALE" then it cannot apply to those in Christ.... because, Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

well Houston we just might have a problem. because if this is a Male qualification for one in Christ, then there has to be another qualification for a woman for the same work. the WIFE of ONE HUSBAND. which fits Priscilla and Aquila. but what about our sister Phebe who is the first "BISHOP"/Pastor at Rome?

to correctly understand the scripture, this qualification is only for a MALE who desire, desire, desire, to hold this work, who is a MARRIED MAN. for the term MAN here is
G1536 εἰ τίς ei tis (ei tiys') cond.
if any.
[from G1487 and G5100]
KJV: he that, if a(-ny) man('s thing, from any, ought), whether any, whosoever
Root(s): G1487, G5100
well now we have our answer. not all men/Males are Married, for the term above states "if ANY". so the qualification is a targeted qualification. which bear out 1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." THIS IS A HOME SETTING", MY GOD, please read in context. 1 Timothy 2 end where 1 Timothy 3 picks up. the chapter division is the ONLY obstacle. if one just keep on reading into chapter 3 one will see it's speaking of MARRIED COUPLES IN THE "LORD". just as in 1 Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law." 1 Corinthians 14:35 "And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."

which is a Church setting that should start at home with married couples.

conclusion: the qualification at 1 Timothy 3:1 is for ONLY MARRIED MEN WHO MIGHT .... "DESIRE" THE OFFICE OF BISHOP. it's a targeted qualification. "if any" .... any who? that are married who are men ...... desired to hold the Office.

101G.

Next time the First BISHOP/PASTOR at Rome is a Woman... our Sister Phebe Romans 16. one will not find this in the early church father's books. but it's in the bible.

101G ..... till next time.

fallacy alert !!!!

where does Paul say He is a pastor ? or a bishop ?

Peter was both an Apostle/Bishop but not Paul.

We know that Peter was both an apostle and elder because he said so, “I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder” (1 Peter 5:1)

once again your personal doctrine is getting in the way of biblical doctrine/ truth. :)

Listen and Learn, 1 Corinthians 13:1 "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13:2 "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing."

first he tells us he's a "Prophet", And though I have the gift of prophecy, now the Pastoral and Bishop Gift. scripture, Jeremiah 3:15 "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." and what did Paul the apostle say? and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; Knowledge & understanding, which he "FEED" and what, or do the same?. Acts 20:28 "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood."

and Overseers is the Greek term

G1985 ἐπίσκοπος episkopos (e-piy'-sko-pos) n.
1. an overseer.
2. (in genitive case) one of the co-superintendents entrusted with the well-being of a local assembly or of assemblies within a city or location.
{literally or figuratively}
[from G1909 and G4649 (in the sense of G1983)]
KJV: bishop, overseer
Root(s): G1909, G4649

BINGO, bishop, overseer.

Like I said Paul never called himself one but Peter did.

your argument fails.

did he not feed the flock of God with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING? yes, and the bible say so.... (smile) lol, lol,
reproved. now if he didn't feed the flock of God then post book chapter and verse to that effect, please.

now did the Lord Jesus himself say he's an apostle, but is he? .... (smile).... Lol, Oh dear.

Eisegesis as Apostles also fed the flock and protected it. Another strawman. Jesus was not an elder either . :)
