Why The Trinity is Wrong: Definition

Thanks for citing a passage which proves Jesus is YHWH, for the "Lord' also refers to Him in 1 Corinthians 10:26.
1 Corinthians 10:26 proves no such thing. Like John 1:1, it does not even mention Jesus or YHWH.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all the same Deity! One God!
Not three gods. One God only.
Yet, no Scripture verse says anything like that. There is one God, the father is what Scrioture actually says.

Even a 1st grade child knows that you have to read a full sentence to comprehend what the author is attempting to communicate.
Yes, retreat into more text as if that will help you. These few words communicate precisely what truth the trinitarians deny

@GeneZ, what does it mean for the trinity and Jesus when Scripture says there is one God, the Father?

No recess for you until you can show that you can read entire sentences. Edit

I already demonstrated how the entire sentence can be read which allows the reader to realize the danger of following the Utilitarian Jesus, who is "one of many such real gods" and not the one Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for citing a passage which proves Jesus is YHWH, for the "Lord' also refers to Him in 1 Corinthians 10:26.

And, in the OT Scriptures we can find passages that show the Lord God of Israel was being Deity and Soul in union. In union long before a body was provided for His Soul to make Himself to become as a man with....

I was shocked when I first saw this unfold before the eyes of my heart!

Keep this in mind!

God is not "soul." God is "spirit."

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24

With that in mind...

We see in certain OT passages that the Lord God of Israel was being both spirit and soul a union. Both Soul and Jehovah!
Two different immaterial natures in union!

And they began to remove the foreign gods from their midst and to serve Jehovah,
so that his soul became impatient because of the trouble of Israel. Jdges 10:16
Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone
loving violence his soul certainly hates." Ps 11:5
“Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons,
the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred
meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a
trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.. Isa 1:13-14

The Lord God of Israel was eternally being two natures in union in Heaven before the Incarnation!

In that OT setting that Soul of Jehovah is the same Soul of Jesus before He made Himself to become as a man!

Those passages reveal the state of the Lord God of Israel before The Lord God of Israel made Himself to be as a man.

He was being the Lord God of Israel without a body, and being a union of Two Natures!

I might add.. that I was "wonderfully dumbfounded" when first being made able seeing that!

This link handles the question: does God have a soul?

This link handles the question: does God have a soul?

That has been the standard go-to answer when some have been stumped for an answer when that issue came up.

Once we realize that Jesus was eternally existing .. it takes a while... it fits perfectly to realize that Jesus as a man has to have a soul.
Its not the body that gives him a second nature. Its His Soul....

"Before Abraham was born I was eternally existing." John 8:58

Jesus was speaking from his soul!

No recess for you until you can show that you can read entire sentences.
The homework for you is:
  1. Come up with a stronger anti-trinitarian statement in as few words as there is one God the Father.
  2. What does it mean for the trinity and Jesus when Scripture explicitly says there is one God the Father?
Someone mentioned other verses as a means of distraction. You want to be distracted by the rest of the sentence. Someone claimed I am misapplying these words of God. Just a baseless assertion.

The Bible explicitly says there is one God the Father. That's good enough for me. Why is it not good enough for you?

And for the record, I have posted many other verses in support of the unitarian god YHWH. Many other verses.

So you refuse to read entire sentences. I already talked about God the Father when I did read the entire sentence to you, since you refused to read entire sentences.

Listen, you cannot graduate to 2nd grade without the willingness to read entire sentences. I will be forced to write a note to your guardians.

I already talked about God the Father when I did read the entire sentence to you
And when you talked about this, you ignored the part of the sentence in question, there is only one God, the Father.

Imagine if this phrase was not there? You'd be making an Appeal to Ignorance, claiming there is no verse that says only the Father is God. Yet, here we are! There is a verse that says only the father is God.

And how do you rationalize dismissing it? The sentence says more than that phrase. Such intellectual dishonesty. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Again, I ask why is this not good enough for you?

No you didn't. I rebutted that false claim. Look, Scripture does not contradict itself. Any verse must be looked at from the perspective that there is only one true God, YHWH, (Ex 3:15, John 17:1-3) who we relate to as Father (1 COR 8:6).

No set of rationalizations can change that. Jesus is defined as the son of God, proving he is not God.

There is only one God the Father.

The entire Trinity is God the Father being expressed in ways that communicate with designated lives in specific ways, so that those lives have something to "connect with" with God.

"No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

No one can see the Father. (John 1:18)

"No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God
and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known."

So how do we as humans see/know the Father?

The Father has His own DEDICATED Soul that is granted an absolute full access to all of the Father that a soul can (for all eternity) ever grasp, comprehend, and perceive about God...

And, the Father uses that Soul to be the communicator to humans of everything they should ever need to know about Himself.

That Soul is the Son of God. He lowered himself in being God and chose to function as only His Soul when he entered the body born of Mary. Thus, having made himself to be as a man, no longer as also God in his function. (Philippians 2:6-8)

For He has two natures in union. One for reaching humans with His Soul.. and One to access an absolute full cognizance of all that a Soul can and could ever perceive about God. Accomplished continuously by being also God in union.

Simple enough?

If not?

Then go pluck your eye out if it causes you to sin. (Matthew 5:29)
And, I will keep repeating that verse demanding that you obey.
Just like you always repeat the same verse over and over again....

I did talk about everything in the entire sentence, including God the Father. I will be forced to send you to the Principle's Office if you keep that up.

Today's lesson of reading entire sentences can be applied to any language, including the original language of the NT. That sentence also warns everyone about the dangers of following the Utilitarian Jesus, who is "one of many such real gods". Instead, we must follow God the Father (Θεὸς ὁ πατήρ) and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Trinity is awesome! These three are one!
One Thing I like about it is the ancient theme which has recently been strongly revived is perichoresis. This is the idea of the interpenetration of life and personality within the Godhead, the idea that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are bound together in such a close unity that the life of each flows through each of the others, and each has access to the thought and experience of others.

From your article its the exact reason why I reject PSA. In fact it’s an ungodly view of the atonement by the following definition in the article . See below

Perichoresis is the fellowship of three co-equal Persons perfectly embraced in love and harmony and expressing an intimacy that no one can humanly comprehend. The Father sends the Son (John 3:16), and the Spirit proceeds from the Father and was sent by the Son (John 15:26)—another example of perichoresis, with the result that God’s people are blessed.

There is nothing that separates the Persons of the Trinity or interrupts the mysterious interchange of perichoresis. It can be imagined as a Venn diagram showing three circles intersecting in the center with each circle intersecting the others perfectly and multi-dimensionally, as they rotate about a common center of divine love.
